As I traveled the country, I used local dentists... but never felt they compared to Dr. Pawlowicz & his sons. When I moved back to Butler, I thought it was time to finally come back. Their commitment to quality dentistry is everything I remembered as a teen. Dr. Jason and my hygienist, Autumn, have an excellent chair-side manner... and are very giving with the free samples. ;-) The only downside (and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that this practice does *not* participate in any insurance networks. Any new patients need to call their insurance companies first to verify the reimbursement policy.

After my first appointment, I left a five star review on Google. Several things have happened since…read morethen and I tried to find that review and change it but I couldn't get back to it. This review will be long, but you'll want to read all of it. Today I must admit that they are a very disorganized dental office and I don't feel quite safe there anymore. The phone is always answered with a recording & even if you leave a message, your important phone calls will not be returned anytime soon. The thing that makes me most nervous is the technicians seem confused about their jobs more often than not. On my last visit, one of them tried to make me have another series of x-rays taken which I'd already had done. I told the girl I didn't think I was supposed to have any more x-rays since all of mine had been completed, and asked if she was totally sure. She immediately said yes--WITHOUT CHECKING any paperwork. Then she casually led me into the x-ray lab and proceeded to follow the routine to get me all set up. Dr. Strickland happened to walk past just in time and he stopped as soon as he saw me. He said to the tech, "What are you doing? Teresa is only here for a wax impression!" So she stepped out into the hall to speak to him, and discovered she had taken the WRONG patient. She was supposed to take someone else for x-rays. Tomorrow I am scheduled to have all of my teeth removed for dentures. This is a major thing. They were supposed to call my Pharmacy two days ago and order a prescription I will need in the morning. They still have not done it. I called the office and got a recording, but no human to talk to. Their website does not even provide an email to reach them the way other Dentistry websites do. There's more but I have to stop here.

I went to another dentist and was told all I needed was a deep cleaning but they wanted to get my tooth done first! I would not recommend ASPEN DENTAL to my worst enemy!!!!! Oh and I went back the next day to get a copy of my X-rays and the woman looked up from her desk and said WHAT! I asked for my x-rays and was told I would have to wait 5-7 days because it was getting close to the end of the day!
