Billing issues and unapproved claims with NO help from Winkleman and this office has the worst…read morecondescending front receptionist Linda who is rude, will speak over you and serve nothing but attitude. What kind of person like that works in a doctor's office?? Very off putting to say the least. I was experiencing a billing issue from 2020 where additional info was requested by FL BLUE from the doctor in efforts to approve the claim. My insurance sent me paperwork stating my primary care physician did not provide adequate documentation to approve a claim. Winkleman assured me that my blood work for testing if I had the breast cancer gene would be taken care of and approved. I contacted their office for help, to have assistance as that's where the lab Quest AND the insurance company FL Blue directed me. To my plea for help, Linda was immediately on the defensive, got loud and argumentative like an unprofessional teenage girl. I had a Quest supervisor call he/Winkleman office to explain the situation, Linda told the Quest rep said she would help by sending the paperwork to FL BLUE appeals, a week later FL BLUE calls to advise the paperwork is illegible and missing critical info? I firmly believe she intentionally sent paperwork that wasn't even filled in to be a hemorrhoid of a human. Winkleman also was resistant to help because she "didn't get paid for the service," and kept trying to hot potato me back to Quest which was NOT correct guidance. Her office was at fault for not submitting the paperwork needed for approving the claim in 2020. I even showed the doctor the paperwork from FL BLUE where they advise they need the paperwork from "my primary care physician" but even today, the FL Blue agent that I asked to 3 way call this office, the agent flat out said she was shocked at the "behavior and aggression we were met by with Linda picking up the call." Unacceptable and Linda should be embarrassed of her mess of an attitude. Dr. Winkleman should also recognize what an embarrassment of a representative she has at the front line of her office. Apparently the oaths these doctors take is meaningless and they only have $$$ in their hearts.

I had really bad neck pain…read more I've been sent to physical therapy many time in my life. I always go once and never go back. I usually just do the exercises on my own, but then I came here. I've been coming for two months. Mary Stern is awesome. I look forward to my next visits (which is insane if you knew me). She is very smart and knows technics for the spine that very few therapists know (McKenzie method). She cares....and that is the best trait in a heath care professional. She talks through and finds the solution(s). I was hesitant to post this glowing review because I didn't want to let the secret out. Gerry is the other therapist and seems to have similar characteristics (his patients are happy). I truly found my personal therapist for as long as Mary will take me (all future problems). No more one and done. She has me hooked on the process and my neck pain is way better than it was before I met her. Thanks!!!!!!!

I recently completed 5 weeks of physical therapy with Gerry Stern at Boca Raton Physical Therapy…read more I was originally scheduled to have surgery for spinal stenosis. My insurance company required that I go through a course of physical therapy before they would approve the surgery. I was skeptical as to getting any benefit from the PT since I had been through the process many times prior to my past surgeries. After my first visit working with Gerry, I immediately felt a connection. Gerry was knowledgeable, professional and caring and I believed that this process could be successful. And it was because I have reached a level of improvement whereby my quality of life has been dramatically improved. Gerry was the catalyst that enabled me to reach the level of success I have attained. Alan E.
