He washes, cuts and dries your hair (you get a mug of coffee if you are lucky also!). Attentive, unlike other places I can mention (and have mentioned in other reviews). He will do exactly as you ask but will also tell you if something doesn't suit/you'd look stupid He has a hardcore of regular clientele who've gone there for years and there's always a friendly atmosphere there. There is a lovely atmosphere at LVB, lots of chat and what not but its a nice gossip - not the backstabbing etc you have to listen to in some! The prices are very reasonable and the salon clean, tidy and welcoming. Prices start from £12.10 for a wet cut and there is a large selection of hair magazine for you to browse to choose a style to talk over with your hairdresser. Being where it is, parking is something of a problem as it is off a main road, in a tiny way-through but many people park in nearby Tescos (which is ok now but may need reviewing if they bring in the strict 2hr parking limit that some stores have).
