Paul is an amazing therapist! He's very practical and gave me advice upon our first meeting years ago that was useful and meaningful. Whether going through some life changes, family struggles, even tough business decisions he's helped me find my way and his suggestions are always spot on. I've witnessed his effectiveness with adolescents and recommended him to many friends. A visit with an excellent therapist like Paul can be truly life enhancing. A good head check like a regular dental appointment is just a healthy thing to do when you have a therapist like Paul Dalton! read more

I think it's fairly unfair for yelp to list positive reviews as non recommended. WE are a great place to come. Give us a call.

I called to make a appointment and said I needed a dr that could regulate medication. They said yes so I made the appointment. I called to confirm and asked again that I needed a dr to regulate medication. I get there for the appointment and I was being seen by a counselor who doesn't do medication at all. It was a waisted visit and they don't tell you all that on the phone. I didn't go back and it was very unprofessional. read more

I almost hate to write this review, because I'm afraid that if I tell people how fabulous Dr. Cook…read moreis, then I will have a much harder time getting in to see her. Because I love the Yelp community, and because I care about your mental health, I am going to bite the bullet and get the word out about Dr. Victoria Cook. Let's face it, there are times in our lives when we really want to strangle the life out of someone, or burn down our office building, or perhaps just never leave the dark comfy world under the covers of our bed. I've been there. It's no fun. Talking to someone else - anyone else - about the world inside your head can be a very scary experience, and talking to a complete stranger about the worrisome bits of your life is a definitive no...just, no. Trusting someone else enough to be able to discuss your sad places is not an easy thing, and finding the right person is very important. Dr. Cook was exactly the right person for me. She is kind, she listens without interrupting, and I never feel judged. She is a fabulous resource for outside services, and she is encouraging without being forceful. Dr. Cook accepts some insurance plans, and she has evening appointment available. Mental health is no joke. Whether you have chronic depression or situational angst, a supportive therapist can be a valuable asset, and can make a tremendous impact as you navigate life's difficult path. Taking care of yourself means more than eating right and keeping your body fit...it also means loving yourself enough to talk about your problems. It's amazing how the power your fears and sadness have over you dissipates when you voice them, out loud. To reach the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, call 1-800-273-8255.

Paul Dalton is a terrible counselor. Absolutely aweful. I wish someone had reviewed the man before I fell victim to him. One of the biggest mistakes of my life was ever exposing my personal life to this man. If you do leave a review on this site Paul Dalton will threaten to send your personal counseling records to everyone you work with!!! Learn from my mistake. Don't ever speak to Paul Dalton. He is now under investigation with his board because he fouond a negative review that I wrote online and threatened to send my file to my employers and co-workers. Run! Don't go any where near this man. In fact, I recommend not ever seeing a counselor. It isn't worth the risk. See your family doctor. Talk to a trusted religious leader. But never, ever see a counselor. They can say whatever they want, they can threaten you, there is no accountablility with the Board of Professional Counselors in KY. read more

Wow, I normally don't write reviews, but the negative review of Paul needs to be corrected. I came to Paul because he had helped save a marriage from a friend of mine. They did such a 180 degree turn around! My experience there was awesome. I was treated with respect, and Paul's understanding of the issues was spot on. While I'm sure he can't help everyone (especially those not wanting help), he helped me tremendously. I will continue to recommend his services to anyone who is seeking to better their lives. read more

After leaving a completely honest, but negative review on this site, Paul Dalton tracked me down and emailed me. He asked me to remove the review and suggested that he would send my personal files to my employers and coworkers! He later denied that I was ever his patient. I have contacted his licensing board and he is under review for this case. read more

The providers here have a lot of experience and put you at ease. They genuinely care about your outcome. That is what is important to me. We worked with a child counselor here and one for our marriage. Great outcome. Thanks. read more

They made me feel comfortable going into the process like they had everything covered. I felt informed going into the procedure. They and everyone I talked to leading up said it would be easier with a donor because I could wait up to 6 years without one. So my best friend of 15 years stepped up and donated! She loved her coordinator and kept in touch a lot with questions. I only heard from mine about quarterly. I was told I needed to seek therapy for my anxiety and depression so I did, which was useful for me. Time for the transplant part. Surgery went well. After checking in we were brought back within 30 minutes. We were allowed to have 1 person with us to wait. Post op was worse for me than it was for my donor. I won't go into the complications I had with my stay in the hospital. They sent her out on a pain drip but I had to request 5mg every 6 hours? There was no communication between any of my care team throughout the recovery. My education went well but was hard to understand but they gave me plenty of reading material and things to try and make it easier. They gave me an excellent pill organizer large enough to hold all of my meds. I had never had a large procedure like this before that I had not been sent home on any anti anxiety medication to get me through at least 2 weeks post op. Especially with a the trauma I had endured throughout that time. My visits after we're long and inconvenient because of the wait time got longer and longer waiting for a Dr to come in for 5 minutes ask me how I was and then give me my next apt. I had to leave at least twice due to inconvenience with it and had to make first available apts. which they later told me would not be an option for me.
