I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.

You can seat either onto a classical table or onto a gueridon in deep sofas. 5 different buffets are waiting to offer you an amazing choice : sushi, viennoiseries, libanese mezze, minute grill of seafood and meat, cooked eggs in many ways, salads, set of cheeses, deserts with creps, fruits, pancakes, and many other sweeties.
