Very positive experience with my pregnancy of my 5th baby. He never acted like I was an idiot when…read moreI asked him in my 8th week to test me for diabetes. Instead he listened to what I was feeling and how I was thinking and actually agreed with me as long as it was negative and got tested again like normal. I agreed. Turned out I was correct and am thankful he took the time to listen to my concerns. Staff is a little stand offish at times but they are a busy office but they do care, give good help and I would recommend his office. But don't have your baby at St Clares, he is also associated with other better hospitals that will treat you with more respect. But like I said I had a great experience with him and even when declining a circumsicion for my son he even agreed and didn't look down on me (which the nurses at st clare did they thought I was crazy)

I was absolutely terrified to make the decision to have surgery. I'm so happy that when I finally…read morewas ready for it, Arch Bariatrics was available. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a Doctor. Surgery was not pushed on me at all by them. They made sure I was educated so I could make the best decision. The actual surgery experience itself was a breeze compared to what I thought it would be. My scars are barely even visible. Dr. Chinnappan is extremely talented! The staff here is super friendly and they usually pick up the phone super quickly. If I had to do it all over again the only thing I would change is deciding todo it sooner! I'd choose Dr. Chinnappan every time and I've recommended him to so many people. Not only is he incredible but the self pay price is actually affordable compared to a lot of other doctors. So worth it! My life is so different now.

Did a virtual appointment before getting a EGD to see if I had a hiatal hernia which I already knew…read moreI had. He said it was small and didn't need to remove or do anything with during the sleeve procedure. I had given him a list of my medicines which shown I had been on acid reflux medication for a long time, but he agreed the sleeve would be a good choice. Got the sleeve done in July 2025. I had to spend 2 nights in the hospital following surgery because I don't deal well with anesthesia so after being rushed to walk around and also drink, I kept vomiting. Got that under control finally and was able to come home. Come October I started having horrible acid reflux. I couldn't eat, talk, or walk without vomiting. I called his office and went to see him. His words were "I am not saying you are lying, but I don't see anything wrong." On the edge of crying because what am I supposed to do now. He did up my stomach pill so now I am taking 80 mg of it in the morning and in the evening. Which by the way my insurance isn't covering this dose because well it is just uncalled for. Now I am on the schedule with the PA. I see her the next couple times. Come February 2026 visit I get a call to confirm my appointment and to pay my copay of $40 but I am in another doctor appointment so I cannot answer at that time. They leave a message. Before I am out of this appointment, I am looking at my email's and I see they canceled my appointment because I didn't call back and pay my co-pay. I called them back when I was out and asked why and that is what they told me. So we schedule for the following week. Not thinking the day they would call to collect my co-pay would be another day I would be in another appointment. Sure, enough the same thing happened. After this round of canceling, I decided at this moment they are not there to treat me, they are there to collect my money. I need a doctor who cares about my health not my money.
