As a family, we just had our CPR training with Jeff - it was easy to book (over the phone) - His facility is easily accessible in downtown Pleasanton - Jeff is a very personable trainer who shared real examples that helped understand the concepts well - the training videos were very useful. Jeff then walked us through the hands on learning and answered questions. He had ample time to answer our questions. - he offered light snacks like coffee, cookies etc out of courtesy Overall, we all felt knowledgeable about CPR with hands on experience and now feel a lot more confident to use the he training if ever needed. Thank you Jeff! read more

I have been coming here for my BLS certification renewal for years. The instructor, Jeff, is the best instructor! The office is clean and well organized. It's conveniently located in downtown Pleasanton, easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. Jeff is very professional. He would share all his expertise on how to perform CPR efficiently and correctly. I also enjoyed his life stores on how CPR has saved many lives. This class is both educational and fun! YES, Today (05/14/19) I took a Professional Healthcare Provider course. Our Instructor was Jeff. He was a blast and very informative. We all seemed to enjoy the class and everyone got along. We all came from different medical backgrounds. He covered well all the topics pertainent to the American Heart Association guidelines for our class. Video and in class practice and the final practical and the exam at the end. Nice to get card via email instead of waiting around to recieve days later and after passing, it was in our email boxes. Nice change. Also using 2016 currents was good not too much changed in the coursework since I took two years ago. everyone had ample time to practice and question sessions. This class has made the coordination of Healthcare Professionals more responsive and togetherness and teamwork effectively. Especially more than one responder. It all came together and Jeff was funny and enlightening and made class fun. He is a Professional but had everyone laughing and understanding all the material. It was great to pause the video(s) and his demonstration and had us on a question practice as was what was on the screen. The class was just right, temperature, been over the years , hot ones or morgue cold ones, and lighting was great, upstairs but they have an elevator for those that prefer or might be physically challenged. They also had complimentary snacks, waters and coffee as well. Nice touches for just a CPR Class! Thanks Jeff to you and your Team. Look forward to renewals at this easy and handy location with underbuilding parking and outside free parking as well. One of THE BEST EVER! AND...way better than DublinCPR that was using cheap dolls and kind of structure that was not inviting, thanks Jeff for standing out from them. And besides they're new in the Tri Valley no matter how many reviews they have. They have something to learn from EMT Patterson. read more

I was walking in downtown Pleasanton a few weeks ago and came across the Patterson sign that promotes the CPR/First Aid/AED training and I wrote down the number. The next day, I called the number and spoke with Jeff Patterson, the owner...which is rare nowadays. I was pleased with what I heard and made an appointment for him to come to our facility and conduct some training. Well, today was that day and I must say...not only was I impressed with his professionalism and knowledge, but the class was lively, and you can tell he cared. I'm the Training Manger for a $500 million dollar organization and we are now in talks with management to have Jeff conduct this training for all of our branches (20 of them) throughly California. read more

Patterson CPR Is very professional, friendly, and took precautions for COVID. I was the only one in my class which made it very helpful for me to ask questions and relate the training to my specific profession. He asked questions to make sure I was taking the correct course. Also, he has a very nice price compared to other trainings and parking was so easy. I would recommend to anyone!! read more

Just finished my CPR, AED, and First Aid Jeff was very knowledgeable, respectful, and helpful. I would definitely recommend him.

I needed a CRP/AED card in 10 days or less, and Jeff had a class starting that afternoon. Hopped into the car and completed the course in a few hours, in, out, and card in-hand. Simple. Jeff's fantastic, knows his stuff, the place and space is small-ish but uncrowded, so you don't get the gigantic, impersonal classroom feel yet it's cozy enough that blurting out questions doesn't feel like an interruption. I'll be back once I sort out the particulars for my EMT coursework, I'll be back for the AHA Healthcare Provider BLS. read more

Jeff came our office last week and trained a couple of us on CPR/AED. I was kind of apprehensive before the course - how can I save someone's life or even attempt it? Jeff quickly made us feel at ease with his sense of humor, matter-of-fact instructions and tips and techniques. He was very informative and professional and kept the class moving quickly. All of the attendees finished the class with a strong sense of accomplishment, as well as the knowledge to perform CRP, help a choking victim, and how to use an AED. He even helped us review our firm's AED to ensure the battery was fresh and to check the pads. That's service that goes above and beyond. We will definitely use Jeff again. Highly recommended. read more

Wow...Time flies when you are not paying attention. However, I have been looking forward to this CPR class for the past 2 years.... Just like last time, Jeff made this boring class not only fun and painless, but also informative. The only pain I had was my sore arms and back the day after from doing the CPR.... My wife is a pharmacist, and her requirement for her CPR was a online class. I personally think Jeff's class surpass those easy online courses due to the fact that we are doing it hands-on! If you want a quality CPR class that actually teach you how to save lives with the hands on approach, give Jeff a call! read more

You can tell he enjoys teaching people those life saving skills, a serious topic with a good touch of humor and so all that what he teaches you sticks with you. Highly recommended! I needed a BLS certification and Jeff worked with me to accommodate my schedule, squeezing me in for an early morning class on the following day.
