They appear to be Gen Z and don't believe in running the AC at 75 degrees through the night to ensure the early clients aren't getting their haircuts in saunas. One of the barbers, a young lady, was there on time. My appointment was for James. She told me he would be there shorty as I sweated puddles on the floor. 10 minutes later after no sight of James I left. He called me 5 minutes late saying he would be late. I guess Gen Z kids think you tell clients that until you are actually late. My reply to him was brief and hit the target. This is not the type of barber for responsible adults.

Full disclosure , I am not an easy shave due to exposure based skin condition that makes my hair patchy while prior to my retirement from service. I was shaved by Lou, and I placed myself at the mercy of the barber for recommendations. Overall, the shave was nice it was done the way I asked, so I was satisfied. On my next visit, I will change up the style as now that I see it, I don't think it's "me." I was satisfied with the service I received and will return in two to three weeks once I get some growth back to try a different style. The feel of the shop was great and the staff was welcoming. The best part is I was given a card and told if I have to book in a pinch or have trouble with the app, just call. Which is a courtesy I've had yet to receive at the shops I took my son to before settling on a shop for him. (I'm bald de to my condition, so no haircut for me) I will return to Brands. After 20+ years of military, I'm just learning my beard style.
