I wanted a Boardwalk Empire style haircut from the 20's or 30's, which meant that the sides are short; but the top is left long, exceedingly long and is slicked. Most contemporary barbers do not know what that means and they cut the top way too short which ruins this particular hairstyle. When Angelo was finished he added a nice pomade which is required for this type of hairstyle. When I left the chair, I looked like I was ready to go shoot some pool. As I was walking to the show, a woman complimented me and said that I looked like Johnny Depp. Nice for a haircut that cost $14. My only regret is that I wished I lived closer as I would visit Angelo Martino's regularly.
