What seems to be good here is that they have a fairly large selection of scrubs and even some culinary wear in a lot of styles and colors. If you're a nursing student at a place like NCC or St. Luke's they've got you covered with the appropriate colors and will handle the necessary logo work all in house very quick. It was only two or three days until everything was ready. They're also good in that if the Allentown store has something and they don't, they'll either hold it for you until you get over there or they'll have it sent over to this location likely the next day. Before I get too positive let me bring in two negative points. 1. If you're in nursing school you probably need to do the whole all white shoe/clog thing. Note that if you're foot is on the larger side you might be SOL both in terms of what they have in stock and what they are able to order. An example being let's say you need a 10.5 all white model from Klogs. They don't stock it and supposedly they can't order it. I mean not that you should be in a hurry to get the Klogs here as they will set you back over a Benjamin but it surprised my wife that they couldn't do anything for her yet later online at home she took of things in a matter of minutes. 2. They try to hard sell their wall behind the register of things like blood pressure cuffs, pen lights and stethoscopes. While it is convenient to be able to buy everything in one stop, prices for the exact same things on Amazon are considerably less. Save your money, buy it elsewhere. While the selection here is very good, the pricing (even for the on sale stuff) is not. If you need to get your scrubs here then do it because they'll have what you need. But past that a lot of the accessories can be found online for much cheaper (and when it comes to shoes) with a much better selection. (Also note that if you work for one of the two local area hospital monopolies, twice a year if you bring your ID in they'll give you a small discount on most stuff in the store as long as it's not already on sale.)

The current staff members are real genuine and their service are top-notch. They carry most uniform sizes in the store, however, finding the perfect boot size was a bit more difficult to locate. But no worries! They will order whatever size you want immediately and it'll take a week or two to arrive. A nice seamstress in the back of the store will size you up for the perfect uniform fit before total purchase. The patches are sewn on perfectly and it looks real professional. Unfortunately, the sewn on name tags are NOT made here but in their parent store in Newark...so you'll have to wait for that to arrive before picking up your new uniform. Starr Uniform does not care about their customers…read more I ordered 6 jackets for our EMS agency on Feb 15, 2012, and expected to receive them within 7 days, as I paid for UPS Ground shipping. After no word and no product a week later, I followed up and inquired as to the status of the order. I was informed that the jackets were out of stock at the time I ordered them, but that they had been shipped by the supply company. I was a little disappointed, but understood. I asked them to contact me with a tracking number when the jackets shipped. Another week passed with no new information from Starr, and no communication of any kind. I called the office on March 6, 2012 (20 days after the original order was placed) and was told that the jackets had shipped that morning. There would be a delay, however, in getting the tracking code, since shipping was in another part of the building. The next morning, I got the tracking number, and to my surprise saw that the item had NOT been shipped. When the jackets finally arrived March 14, 2012 (28 days after the order date!), it was confirmed that the label wasn't even printed until after I spoke with the customer service rep. He lied to me directly, and the company has not responded to multiple requests for a follow-up after we received the jackets. Do not waste your time with Starr Uniforms. They will be nothing but a headache.
