Cons: The pool is closed and green majority of the time. When you're paying over $700 a month, the pool should work. The spots aren't leveled at all, so be sure you're prepared for that. Bring ant and bug killer because they do not spray & the ants and roaches are EVERYWHERE. Pros: The people who work here are pretty nice. The laundry is nice and convenient. Everyone in the Rv park is like family. They love the children in the Rv park and are sure everyone goes the speed limit. Ps. We stayed for months. read more

Very cute place. Peaceful. Has river access and swings for the kiddos everywhere! Close proximity to I-10, 183/TX 80, and at 90. People are very sweet here. Only complaint is the manager, David's staffie mix attacked my dog while mine was leashed and his was off leash. Electricity was a little pricey-Luling has a "fuel charge" that the city passes on to customers, but that's to be expected. Not their fault. We were way in the back in the woods. No lights back there. They had trouble with the electricity. No sewage. They have a prejudice against any sort of bully dogs. Called them aggressive which is just ignorant. Wouldn't recommend. Won't stay there again. No excuse for ignorance read more

This is a pleasant surprise. In aa setting along a river. Nice size spots. Clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Very friendly service. A country atmosphere welcoming you with horses and other farm animals. Catch and release fishing pond. Relaxing atmosphere. read more

We stayed at this location for about a month. The grounds are very well maintained and very reasonably priced. Gated park. Conveniently located to the freeway, gas, library, hospital and grocery store (among other things). Has outdoor activities - pool, access to San Marcos river, catch and release pond. The staff/owners are super kind. We would definitely stay here again! I would give 4.5 stars if able - The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the laundry facility. They have front loaders and regular washers/dryers, but depending on which one you used cost more than the other. Some dryers were more efficient than others.. trial by error. Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. Two adults and two kids 6 and 2. Booking and sign in was very easy. Very responsive to phone calls. They had a good plan for late arrivals. Our campsite was a bit narrow but made up for it in length. Hookups where clear and consolidated in one spot. They where just gravel under the rv though. No patio area. Only grass. Plenty of space behind the camper and around the pond. We where near a large pecan tree that made the evenings very comfortable. I would say the major of folks here are living here. Don't let this deter you from staying a few days though. Easy access from i10. I would definitely stay here again instead of the crowded San Marcos rv parks. read more

Kate was great. I called ahead to ask if they were up & running with all the rain & floods here in Texas as of late. I stopped over night to weather the storms out. She put me in back by the river, which she assured me was no where near the top. It was quiet. I slept good. Four stars because there was no cable and I got limited channels with an antenna & to use the wifi you have to be in the front clubhouse. It's Passport America friendly so the price was right. read more

My husband and I moved here from Northern California. On the quest to call Texas our home. We came to River Bend RV park and everyone there was super nice. The park is very clean. Love the catch & release pond. People were out there almost everyday. You can tell the owners really care about their property but truly care about their customers! Came by this place on a cross-country bicycle trip to Cali. This place is affordable, clean, quiet, and most of all, safe (I was on a solo ride and I was pitching a tent). Got to talk to the owner and what a cool guy. He's lived a damn good life if you ask me. Pretty darn friendly people there. Oh, and random fact.. I treated myself to pizza after a long ride.. and they totally deliver there.. even in the far back primitive sites! hah read more

Great place to stay if you don't mind being charged more than double the agreed amount for breaking any of their unwritten rules.

I had the worst experience at this RV park. They would not allow me to visit my family for more than 5 minutes without hunting me down in the park and getting into a very rude argument with me, forcing me to pay $15 for myself, my girlfriend, and my car to enter the park for 10 minutes to say hi. Very, very poor customer service and I will never return here. read more

I only stayed one night, but will gladly return. The staff I spoke with were helpful and friendly. The park is right on the river. You can walk from your RV down to the river edge for a relaxing swim or just enjoy the river. My campsite was on the edge of a field. The view was relaxing. I enjoyed my stay. There is a larger than average swimming pool that I wanted to get into. I forgot to pack my suit so no swimming this trip. It looks like most of the park is full timers all but a couple keep their places neat and presentable. read more
