You can't beat honesty and experience…read more Yes, there still is integrity in this business. We replaced our upstairs HVAC with them 2 years ago. It is still running strong and turns my upstairs into a deep freeze if I choose to. This week, we had them do a much more intense replacement. Our downstairs HVAC unit was from 2005, mated to a furnace from 1993 (33 years in service...not made like this anymore). Things literally were routed different back then. The initial consult from Mike (Owner) was straightforward, followed by accurate pricing from Bri (Manager). Scheduling was quick. Timeliness of their crew and the electrical subcontractor was exactly as expected. The removal of the old unit was a challenge, but they persevered and managed to get it out. They relocated BOTH line sets to let us move both units to a different location. This was an EXTREMELY REASONABLE cost and jump started our next phase of expansion. I could not be happier with the install and project management they pulled off for this. I am always gunshy to ask for additional work, but they were very accommodating and quick to integrate my changes. Don't be like me, and think things through to let them prepare properly. You can not go wrong with this company. They have serviced my house since we got it in 2015. Great reliability and trust.

They said they changed the air filters, they did nothing. A month later we called them back to check a non functioning heater. Three trips and 1000.00 and it still didn't work. We called Americare, one of their competitors, they fixed the problem in 5 minutes and for $200. They are the ones that showed us that none of the filters had been changed. One week later I call to see where the part is, and I am told they don't know they would check with the manufacture and call me back, 3 hours later no call so I call them. I was told " we don't know where the part is and neither does the manufacture". I told them to cancel it and called Norman heat and air. They were here within 30 minutes and hot it up and running within 2 days. I understand Alameda Heat and Air is under new ownership. If this is how they do business, they won't be in business long. I've used Waggoners for HVAC for years and have always been happy, but things seem to have changed…read more They came out in March for semi-annual maintenance on my A/C, and what would normally be a 45 min job took an hour and a half. I figured out why when I got an email right after the guy left with *36* photos and videos of my system. First time they ever did that. Overkill, much? That same week I had one of their guys out to give me a quote on a fairly significant plumbing project. I've never used Waggoners for plumbing, but this is a big enough job I wanted to get more than one quote on it, and it seemed like a thing to do. The gentleman came to my house, I showed him what I had in mind, we discussed options, and he said he would put together an estimate for me and get back to me. Days and days went by, and I had just about given up on hearing from them, when the guy contacted me that he had my estimate ready. He came to my house and walked me through it and it seemed reasonable. I asked him to please send me a copy of the quote by email, and he said he would do that. He left me a catalog to peruse, and said he would be back to pick it up in a couple of days. I told him I'd be happy to send it back with their A/C tech who was coming the next day, but he said no, he didn't trust that he would get it back if I did that. Readers, I never heard from him again. I never got the quote. He never picked up the catalog (which, btw, had NOTHING to do with the work I was asking for). I don't know what to think. I have a service contract for another HVAC maintenance, and I'll probably go through with that, but if things don't get better, I'll probably be moving on. It's a shame.

A few years ago, when my…read moreheater first started having issues, I asked a colleague who owns several apartment buildings in the Oklahoma City area for a recommendation. He suggested Gentry Service Heating and Air Conditioning. As a woman living alone, finding a trustworthy company that wouldn't try to upsell or take advantage of me was important, and Gentry exceeded my expectations with honest service at a reasonable price. When my heater stopped working again this past Friday, November 29, 2025, I didn't hesitate to call Gentry. They sent a technician out on Sunday to assess the problem. He clearly explained my options and the associated costs, and the repair was completed on Monday, December 2, 2025. I'm grateful to have heat in my home again. I highly recommend Gentry to anyone needing heating or air conditioning services. They are fair, honest, responsive, and respectful--qualities that are increasingly rare. Gentry is a company that truly delivers great value and service.

I called CCE due to really good recs from Yukon Happenings fb group and they were awesome. They showed up by the next morning. Joey checked everything out and was completely transparent with everything going on up there and even took pictures and took the time to explain everything and answer every question. They found that the previous tech mightve also not done his due diligence regarding a few other areas which we find troubling. Nonetheless, Joey was awesome and despite seeing the questionable work the last technician has done, he was very careful with his words and made sure he didnt diss the other guy. Martin was also great answering all my questions, explaining all recommended solutions, and was very transparent with pricing. The night before installation, they brought over a portable AC unit for me to temporarily use until the new unit was installed.
