I emailed and they corrected it and said the next month it would be the higher amount. Today, it was an even higher amount that originally quoted in the email. I asked to cancel and get a full refund and they refused because "credit surcharges are a common practice across many industries today, as they help cover the costs associated with payment processing and other operational expenses. As such, these surcharges are non-refundable. We understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating, and we appreciate your understanding." Nowhere in any paperwork or email was I told about a surcharge for a credit card. In my initial charge, there was not a surcharge for a credit card. I am not frustrated about the price. I am frustrated that TWICE I was charged more than I was supposed to be charged. This is NOT a good business practice.

Great wash, constant tip texts hold it back…read more I've been a member since opening day. For a drive-through wash, they do an excellent job. My car comes out clean every time. The staff is friendly, quick, and consistent. I have never had an issue with the wash itself or the service on site. The problem is the follow-up. Every visit triggers multiple text messages asking for a tip. It happens every single time. Two messages per wash adds up fast. It turns a simple errand into a steady stream of notifications. Tip fatigue is real, and this setup pushes it. If they cut the repeated tip requests, this is an easy five-star experience. Until then, the quality stays high, but the experience feels cluttered.

I drive past at least 10 car washes to use Genesis because they are friendly, the place is spotless, the actual car wash gets every speck of dirt off, rinses well and really dries it as you leave. Twice as good as other car wash businesses. And don't get me started about the vacuum cleaners and wiping cloths they provide. My little grandson does the vacuuming and I do the dusting.
