I buy my tools and my materials elsewhere so I can't vouch for the rests of the stock. But, it all looks ok. When I end up buying some extras that where not on the list. I usually find that it's a great price/quality ratio.

He talked us through several projects and not only helped us find what we need but helped us figure out how to do it correctly. In fact, everyone who works here is super kind. When we went around back to pick up the wood we'd paid for inside we realized we'd asked for the wrong size. We apologized to the guy helping us load up and told him we made a mistake and he said: "oh man, it happens! The only people who don't make mistakes are the ones who don't do anything!" As new homeowners trying to tackle things ourselves when we can, this was just exactly what we needed to hear that day. Thanks guys! See you soon!

Um... this place is amazing…read more I had no idea this store even existed until I randomly decided to go in after browsing around at Eva B, which is pretty much right next door. Looking in from outside, you wouldn't gain much of a clue as to what this place is about since they aren't big on window display. Nope, aesthetics are not on the radar here. Once you go inside, though, you'll be blown away at: a) the actual size of this place and, b) the amount of STUFF. This is an industrial supply store, full of the most obscure tools, parts, etc and has everything -EVERYTHING- you could ever want before you knew you wanted it. I'm a DIY builder (artist) of mechanical, electronics, whatever and I seriously wish I'd found this place a lot sooner. Today I located an extremely hard to come by brass nut that I desperately needed to finish hooking up the latest appliance I'm working on. I had a hallelujah moment so hard, the guys working there thought I was a full-on lunatic. Everything is super cheap, super organized, and well-stocked. I'll be going here FIRST the next time I need parts. Also, all kinds of camping, fishing and other gear, too. Put it on your go-to list.

Turns out the BMR in St…read moreJovite is the one with the fancy floor setups and lots of pillows and citronella candles for folks who come up to their cottages on the weekend (ok and tons of other stuff too, and super nice staff.) But THIS BMR, tucked off the highway at St Faustin just a couple minutes before St Jovite, with its signs advertising Tool Rental and Contractor's Entrance is the one for when you are very serious about your building projects. You are no longer messing around, you are buying siding ,tyvek and insulation by the metre like some sort of pro. It's possible you are actually a pro, the place is crawling with them. My boyfriend has officially spent hours (and what feels like millions of dollars) here since we ran into an unexpectedly major renovation at the lakehouse. I think he has a healthy crush on like 50% of the staff, and given how much help they've given us in figuring out what we're doing and what we need, and that prices here seem to be cheaper than elsewhere, and that for 30$ they deliver all the stuff that doesn't fit in the Subaru, I'm all for it. You can't quite see this place from the highway, and as you pull up it really looks like you're not in a place that's open to the public, but don't worry: it is, and it's awesome.
