Every May, my sister sends me a gift certificate for my birthday and I go with a friend on a trip to Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton to kick off the gardening adventure for the year. I love going to Weston Nurseries because they make everyone feel like a garden expert. Their staff are helpful and friendly and if they don't know an answer, they'll find someone who does! I was very pleasantly surprised to see their huge selection of perennials had been laid out alphabetically this year!!!!! No more aimless wandering looking for astilbe in the middle of the hellebores or sedum. The prices are a bit higher than other local shops or big box home improvement stores. However, aside from two of the mini plants I bought from the clearance section that died, I have never been disappointed in the quality of things I've purchased there. Unfortunately, the driver misunderstood the instructions and dumped the stone in the middle of my driveway blocking one of the garage doors. I contacted the manager at Osborne and he said the driver followed protocol. He offered no help or credit. So it took me about 3 hrs that night to shovel enough stone to get my car out of the garage. Suggestion: If you order material from Osborne, I suggest you buy a can of neon orange spray paint and paint a big X where you want the material dropped so there is no room for a misunderstanding.

I decided on AJT because I saw on their website that they sell irregular flagstone by the piece, which I've been looking for. They had a ton to choose from in a variety of colors, and I was helped by the coolest dude who maneuvered the tricky pieces so I could check out some I couldn't get to on my own. He showed me a couple pieces he thought were interesting then loaded all I'd chosen to purchase into my car, some of which he'd shown me, as I paid inside. While I was there Kailey, who I've decided is the queen of AJT Supplies, also helped me with every aspect of selecting 3/4" river rock for my new garden project, which I will be ordering bright and early tomorrow. Kailey even gave me a tee shirt before I left. The queen, right? Amazing experience!

Yes, I'm spoiled by the prices at the regular grocery store it would cost me three roses for $10 with greens and everything in them And she charged me about $32. I believe it was which I felt was not a good value to me it was just too expensive. I probably will never go there again only because the price really put me off, but I need them as an emergency type of basis so because of that I paid for them. She did not have tap for her credit cards or debit cards and my credit card and debit card is only tap. It cannot be slid in the machine. It will not accept the payment. It rejects at a later time and I have to go back and pay people. But she was kind friendly and she was very nice. She did wrap the flowers beautifully I was able to take them and be happy with the way they looked and stuff but I just was like I said I've been put off by the price. But it's probably because she's a small shop and the small shops have to charge a little bit more in order to make a difference and that part I get, but it's not something I could afford on a regular basis for sure.

The plan was originally to have the flowers delivered to my hotel, but I was pressed for time. Annabelle shifted the plan and made the delivery directly to the home. The arrangement was truly magnificent, and she even delivered some added goodies along with the flowers, which yielded extra smiles from the entire family. Did not put any seed down and had to come back with seed. 2024 - Paid for full service up front. Lawn was greener. Same problem with over seeding. No seeds were drop on the lawn after Aeration. Manager and tech said they installed it but my lawn maintenance guy confirmed that there was no seed, Manager basically said I was lying about the seeding. 2025 - Paid in full but deleted Aeration and overseeding. Lawn was green but still had some crab grass in spots. 2026 Paid in full up front like other years, but only paid for basic service. Deleted the Lime application because money is tight. (senior citizen) TLC put down a lime treatment even though it was not paid for up front and sent us a bill for the application that we did not order. Called several times and even got hung up on by one person. In conclusion, we have requested that they do not EVER return to our prosperity and trade the last treatment due later this year for the lime application. Also please remove us from their mailing list. I guess you pay for what you get, but TLC is not worth the dollars spent.
