The front desk will not work with you for scheduling, will make a confusing mess out of your insurance, and will not even take your word when you can pay...scheduling a plan far beyond your limits of remuneration. As my cavities worsened, I stumbled onto Bellingham Bay Dental's friendly website and after reading a few reviews elsewhere, it was clear that this was the perfect Dentist to switch to. It ended up being the perfect switch, reminding me how pleasant a dental visit can be with the right staff. While my previous dentist rushed and scolded me for being nervous, the staff here took their time and constantly made sure I was comfortable. They made up a plan for the work I needed and took extra measures to make sure my family and I understood it, and they have been amazingly patient about me needing to reschedule appointments to make sure our insurance can cover everything. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you're nervous about seeing the dentist! The only downside is they wont be preferred providers with Washington Dental Insurance after this summer but they are more than worth the extra money.

He didn't just talk about implants - which we all know can be very expensive no matter who does them, he also explored 'options' as he called them. Was just to another implant specialist who offered NO OPTIONS just quoted me $6300. to do the job! Well, Dr. Kennedy's price was no way near that price - by a couple thousand dollars I might add! This man is as honest and caring as a professional can get. It is NOT all about the money. Also, office staff is great. I can hardly wait to see him again. 5* for sure! They also fit me in for a more urgent visit very quickly which I appreciated so much. I have very sensitive teeth and the hygienist used numbing gel which made the cleaning process amazing! The Dentist, Dr. Miller, was calming, knowledgeable, and explained all of the processes in detail. He was very gentle when doing fillings and very detailed, making sure everything was just right. He was also very personable, mentioning he was from the area, telling us about his family and military service. Their current office space is a bit on the older side but it is clean and orderly, and from my understanding they are in the process of renovating a newer facility for future use. I highly recommend Braden Miller, DDS at Ferndale Dental!
