First of all, steer clear of this place if you need any form of sedation, or if you'd even like the option of sedation. I got a filling done here and I felt like I was a patient being operated on in a horror movie- it was that bad. Basically, I was in a lot of pain and didn't have a dentist here in LA and they were able to see me the same day. Was told I needed 4 fillings. I was scheduled for 1 filling and a cleaning a few weeks out, and the other 3 were a few days later. Came back for the first filling and found the entire experience excruciatingly painful, even with multiple shots of novocaine. Additionally, the dentist drilled too much of my tooth and the filling is too shallow so it's going to drive me crazy until I'm able to fix it. I went to a different dentist for the other fillings and the experience and end result were a million times better. The people working at this practice are very nice, but trust me- don't go here. read more

I would definitely recommend Dr. Arryoyo and her staff again and again to anyone like me who makes decisions based on reviews. Without dental insurance, or many personal contacts in the area, I was overwhelmed by the cost and the number of dentists there are to choose from, not to mention the fact that I had put off going for an embarrassingly long time and I had a genuine fear of the whole experience. This office is dirty. I was lying in my chair and I saw something purple on the light handle. I also saw a hair in the chair. I don't want to catch a disease through going to the dentist! My friends always tell me how terrible and rude their dentist office are and I'm always telling them how great this place is. The staff is really nice, always smiling. Sometimes I have to reschedule my appointment and every time I call them they remain friendly/patient with me & I appreciate that a lot. The dentist and the dentist assistant as well are really cool because they know how to educate me about my oral care without making me feel terrible. Went today for a clean up, and they gave me a realistic talk about what can happen if I'm not careful and how to prevent certain things. When they were done the front staff gave me a little baggy with a new toothbrush, & toothpaste and I thought that was pretty nice too! Thank you guys! Oh where do I start..it was my babies first dental visit and the staff at this office made it a breeze...from the front office staff, the office manager Maria was amazing, she fit me in with my 3 kids, to the assistant who was super patient and was able to coach the children to sitting through their xrays and cleanings the babies are 2 and 3 years old, to the doctor (thanks Dr. Ricardo), everyone was very patient, professional and efficient, I would not hesitate to reccomend this office to anyone who is looking for a great dentist and great customer service. read more

Dr, Naureen is wonderful because she has helped me overcome my fear of dentist and as a result I was willing to overlook many negatives associated with your office. I also didn't go into detail but I could have. Take my comments as constructive feedback. Orange is simply not a soothing color for most people. Statistically a high percentage of people are afraid of the dentist and research shows that color does impact perception. Finally, I would agree with some of your other reviews that showed concern for easy to fix items. If you have time to respond to all reviews I'm sure you have time to fix the items of concern. I am very disappointed with the service I received at this office. I had to wait over an hour to be seen. This happens EVERY time I go. Dr. Patricia diagnosed several root canals for me. I got a second and third opinion and NONE of the root canals where necessary. I was suspicious because I had no pain in those teeth. On the plus side the front office is very professional. read more

Everytime I go to their office I feel very welcomed and they always give me a very professional service, thats without speaking about Dr. Arroyo shes the sweetest person ever, very kind and always with a smile on her face. She does a very good job and almost painless. First of I want to say that I am deadly scared of Dentist. I was referred to this Dentist by a really good friend mine that stated that they were great and guess what she was right. I had a deep cleaning and Dr Arroyo talked to me thru the whole procedure. Which calmed me down alot. The staff is also great and greeted me with a smile. I have never had luck with this dentist. First time i went for en estimate for root canal and cleaning and was over $3000 ( they even told me that was a discounted price because i was gonna pay cash)so i decided to go to another dentist in L.A that charged me $1500 . Then this month i made an appointment for my daughter and they scheduled me at 2:00pm . So when the day came I was already in the building when i saw one of the dentist( not Patricia arroyo) that she was leaving! She told me that they were going to call me to let me know that she was going to lunch for one hour! So if i can wait or come back at 3:00. I couldn't believe that they said that.. I love the dentist Patricia. I have 2 children that I bring here one for regular dentist and one for ortho and I must say that they are great with both. My son who has been afraid of the dentist since he was small loves it here. They showed him step by step of what they will be doing before doing it and he didn't cry at all. I have never wrote a review but This needs to be said I wish They had a 0 star. My family and I have been coming to this dentist for 3 years and the more comfortable they get with you the worse it gets. First take stuff to do because your appointment time does not matter to them. I always wait longer than 30 min. The longest I have waited was 1 hour before I left. when I looked at the insurance bill it says we were being charged fir things we never got. I called the insurance and told them we never got half the things that were being charged but they think they can take advantage because the insurance will pay for it. I recommend going to a different dentist if you do not like to wait or be scammed. Thank god we have insurance because we didn't not pay anything out of pocket I am not sure what the insurance company did but they lost 5 customers. read more

I was referred to this dentist by my husband and I can see them being the family dentist for the future. I actually came here after I went through some Invisalign treatment that went wrong, it ended up damaging one of my front teeth that died in the straightening process so then I needed a root canal to fix it and get rid of the pain and agony. I did do the root canal with my Invisalign provider but I still didn't feel like they cared about what had happened to me, I was actually the one that brought the concern of my front tooth to their attention... Anyway, I wanted to find a dentist that actually cared about my well being and that made me comfortable. I'm so glad I gave these guys a shot, their whole staff is so kind and welcoming, they don't pressure you to get anything done when they give you an estimate and most importantly they're extremely understanding. I went ahead and did a crown for my front tooth that had a root canal done since I was being self conscious about the difference in color next to my other front tooth, it was more cosmetic than anything but I felt more confident showing my pearly whites. The crown was perfect, they color matched it and it is all porcelain. They gave me a great deal and I am forever grateful for that since I don't have insurance. I highly recommend giving this place a try for any dental work you need done, they're honest which is number one in my book. read more

I was referred to the office by my neighbor. I Have been coming here just for a few months, and I'm very happy, even though I have to drive from Santa Clarita. I have not found another office anywhere close to town, that hasn't tried to overcharge me or that I have been able to trust. Don't know where to start, well first off I could say that the two stars are for the staff they were all very friendly and attentive. But other then that they didn't do a good job on my husband's and my teeth. The male dr. Told my husband that he needed 5 fillings for cavities when in reality he only needed two, which was brought to our attention by another dr. Also the cleaning that he receive was not well done, he still needed more cleaning done. And for me I had to go back literally 4 times so the dr. Could fix my filling that was too high. She ended up taking the entire filling out refilling it with a temp. Filling and then still told me it was gonna hurt me at home. At this point I was like oooh there's no way I'm coming back here. Went to another dr. And he told me that Besides the huge mess she left on my tooth, she still left a lot of cavity in there and i had a couple other fillings that wrre incomplete and assured me that this dr. Had no clue what she was doing. On top of all this the front desk wanted to charge me 120$ upfront when in reality I didn't have to cuz my insurance ended up covering . It was just a mess! I hope no one has to go thru the frustration that we went thru by coming to this office. read more
