Manny did an amazing job getting all my deductions, property, mortgage, bank stuff, investments, etc, together and complete every necessary steps to get my taxes done. Manny also provided helpful hints and really good advice with regards to combining properties, finances, and such. It's good to have trustworthy information nowadays! Taxes electronically filed so hopefully I'll get my refunds soon!

Another well known tax company we THOUGHT was thoroughly assisting us with a 2016 tax error. We would have almost weekly visits with them working through the issue with the state. Since March have been dealing with this nightmare and by August one morning all our bank accounts had been emptied by the IRS with no warning while we were actively working on it and the other company completely wasted our time, efforts, and ultimately got us in a worse situation by pushing papers. I googled a phone number to help and Tax Tiger came up. I called and right away spoke to Katy B. who assured be all would be ok, she knew exactly what I needed to get them in order to correct and move forward to resolve. I got the document they needed and in the meantime was STILL helped now directly with Kimberly C. as she got my funds back, dealt with the IRS for us, and was so pleasant they both made me cry in the situation. In a good way! Dealing with the IRS is so stressful (and we just has a newborn in May) so we were defiantly in need of help and I am so glad we found it here. Thank you guys so much we are forever thankful and will continue to come back to file in future moving forward as well as referring this company to anyone and everyone!

In November 2022, we hired Tax Tiger after being drawn to their representation as a faith based…read morecompany. We engaged them to file several years of back taxes and to negotiate with both the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board. We paid approximately $8,000 for these services. They had no issue collecting monthly payments. Unfortunately, that was the only part of the engagement that functioned smoothly. Our account was repeatedly neglected. During a business realignment, our assigned representatives changed, and our case was effectively lost. After months of follow up on our end, our back tax filings were eventually completed only after we escalated the issue and spoke directly with leadership, who assured us the relationship would improve. It was during this time that we learned the Tax Tiger brand operates through affiliates or franchise locations. The values and level of service advertised by the original brand did not carry through to the local office we hired. The focus appeared to be on revenue collection rather than client advocacy or results. We were later told that our income level made us ineligible for meaningful assistance with IRS or FTB payment plans, information that should have been disclosed before accepting our case and our money. What followed was nearly two years of repeated calls and emails, constant delays, and excuses such as staff turnover, maternity leave, or employees no longer being with the company. Eventually, we were informed that our situation was "more complicated" and were asked to pay additional fees just to remain a client. At that point, we chose to cut our losses and disengage. When negative feedback is posted, the company responds with misleading statements and false accusations in an attempt to shift blame rather than acknowledge failures in service. Based on our experience, we do not believe this office operates with the faith based values they promote. We strongly advise others to carefully research alternatives before engaging Tax Tiger, particularly the San Diego location. Save your time, money, and energy.

We trust him with our livelihood and he has helped our real estate LLC and two professional S Corporations succeed beyond our expectations. Not surprisingly, Craig can be quite busy and sometimes he files extensions, but this does not hurt our returns. Moreover, he consistently returns our calls, text, and emails in a timely manner. Ultimately, you might find a less expensive CPA, (his charges are within industry norms) but Craig's fees are a total steal considering the value provided. We've been using sktax and Steve Klovanish for a number of years with satisfaction. Over the course…read moreof the past few years that satisfaction is diminishing, primarily due to lack of good old customer service. If you call the office, all you ever get is voicemail and then no courtesy of a return call. E-mail inquiries are handled the same, no courtesy of a response. If you go to their office, the door is locked during published business hours. We are frustrated with this lack of response and are stuck as we have two years worth of taxes to complete and need sktax's knowledge of past filings to complete. Bottom line, if you are looking for a reliable and responsive service, suggest you look elsewhere. As an addendum to the above, finally received an email response to our multiple requests for contact. After hand delivering our two years of tax files to Steve personally in mid September we are now told in mid November that the earliest that Steve will complete our work is Feb. 2021. Totally unacceptable. Not the way to treat repeat customers. Look elsewhere.
