"I just have a quick question." I guess not cause she put me immediately back on hold. When she did come back 4 minutes later, she kept interrupting me and was not nice at all. I'd like to send a letter to these physicians in case they don't know what is happening. Unacceptable. This is a customer or patient's first encounter with their business and she keeps them waiting 18 minutes and is rude on top of it. WOW!! And it wasn't first thing on a Monday morning....

These two issues seemed insurmountable to the impatient people who answered the phones. I finally just canceled everything in disgust. I think I would have better luck figuring out how to rehab my own failing artificial hips, three spinal fusions, and horrendous metal poisoned body with its damaged muscles. My biggest disappointment was arriving for an appointment with my doctor and discovering that I would meet with an APRN instead. She was quite thorough and professional. But no one had asked if it was okay to meet with another provider or whether I would feel comfortable meeting with a provider of the opposite sex. I talked to a scheduling person. She was extremely rude and said she would write on my chart that I would only see the doctor. When I tried to explain to her that I would meet with a PA-C or an ARPN, she cut me off. Some of the front desk folks aren't the friendliest either. I understand that they are dealing with a lot of patients who may not be the friendliest either. But once you get past the schedulers and the front desk, the rest of the practice is great!
