Waking to the sound of birds singing was wonderful. We saw cardinals, robins and geese. So peaceful and beautiful, there was no rush to go anywhere just enjoy the surroundings. The town of Alma was close so easy to stock up on supplies, eat out buy gas and easy on and off of 40 freeway. We stayed 3 nights in a motorhome and would definitely stay again.

Also they charge a tent as an RV if you plug an air conditioning unit in so that's great and then will book you for more days than you schedule with them and refuse a refund so even better!!!! it's fine though I'm sure they need the money to pay their child labor where they're sending young girls under 10 unaccompanied into the men's restroom to clean them!!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend a call to some bored and possibly CPS..... Don't come here!!!! PS they will just straight up not respond when messaging them to find important things like the restroom etc.

We hike, bike, float, and off road and this place is prime for river floats and off roading. One of the most beautiful waterfall hikes (Devils Den) is right up the road as well. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. There is a mile of river front where you can camp (tents, vans, small trailers) and plenty of large RV spots in the main area (50 ft from water). Oh and the owner brings her kangaroo on Saturdays who is so friendly and can be pet. If you need a shuttle for your float the owner can help you out (spots to float 15, 8 or 3 miles) and bring your ATV bc there is a ton of trails on the property. All the campers have been really nice and respectful of quiet hours too.

We arrived late and realized our campsite was on the other end of the resort far from the restrooms. Since we are traveling with an our grandpa who is mobility impaired who can't walk the distance, we called and they accommodated us and put us right in front of the restrooms. They live up to the name Riverfront, because we were able to walk to the river. Also there was a playground for the kiddos to play in, a very nice pool, and showers/restrooms were spacious and clean! When we arrived, they gave us the smallest site near the RVs (site 1) even though we had not been given the option to request a specific site when we called and made the reservation. We went back and asked to switch to another site since we had a large tent and only one of the other 12 sites had someone at it. The lady at the front rudely told my mother that all the other sites were full. Over the weekend, NONE of those other sites had people at them. Not sure if 8 people just decided to not show or if the woman lied. All that being said, when reserving, request any site other than #1 if you have larger than a 2-person tent. #1 is buggy, is next to the sanitation site, and has a huge electric pole smack in the middle of it.

I wouldnt feel very safe at all if I went back. don't waste your time or money! just not worth the headache. I also overheard the lady manager discussing EVERY tenants business with people it doesn't concern. If you want to keep your business private, this is not the place to go.
