Worst experience ever. My brother passed here, there was no compassion, pushing the nurse button…read moremeant nothing, Noone ever came, came into visit n he was laying in a mess with flies crawling all over him. When I pulled in the drive way I could here him screaming with pain, his roommate said he screamed all night, when I got there I begged for them to get pain medicine, it took 4 hours to get 2 Tylenol. He has last stage bladder cancer n was in terrific pain. Really should shut down that place. I visited everyday, talked to other patients n thier families n they all said the same. It broke my heart n I couldn't get any help in there. The last couple of hours before he passed they finally gave him a dose of morphine n oxygen. He was treated horribly , his last month of life was full of suffering. N pain, no compassion. The worse he got the less they cared for him. Didnt have to be that way, he was admitted for "comfort care", He never felt any comfort there... I had to press a star to post but 1 star is not deserved!

My husband was placed in short term rehab. The facility is…read moreabsolutely horrible. My husband was left in urine soaked diapers frequently, he was supposed to be checked every 2 hrs. THAT WAS NOT DONE! My husband suffered a left side stroke in May 2023 leaving his right side totally non-functional plus he lost all communication skills. Many times the call bed was on his right side, he can't push the button. One time my husband had moved his bowels, a CNA walked in and out, did nothing. He tried to get the CNA'S attention, that didn't work. He was trying to get out of bed to get help. THIS WAS A SERIOUS FALL RISK. My daughter caught sight of this and rushed to the facility. The facility cut a nurse on the 3 - 11 shift which meant, the nurse had 30 patients. Many patients required A LOT OF HELP! My daughter and I cared my husband everyday, afternoon and evening. Without us, my husband could have suffered severe complications. The facility had an OUTBREAK OF COVID. There were NO infection control guidelines and the first patient was moved through the hall to another room exposing MANY PATIENTS to COVID. My husband was one of MANY patients that aquired Covid. I have been in all Healthcare settings, Brookside Healthcare was the ABSOLUTELY WORST I have ever seen. I would not put my worse enemies in that facility. The Administrator and DON were difficult to reach and they DIDN'T CARE! Thank goodness we got my husband home before anything could happen to him.

Always WORST Care you mean? Never There Care perhaps? My mother is an elderly lady who had…read moreseveral surgeries and was supposed to receive home health care through this agency. 1)The aides were almost always late or just didn't show up with no replacement offered. 2)The aides were lazy and didn't want to do what they were supposed to do - which was light housekeeping in a TINY efficiency apartment. 3)At least one of them would try to bring their child/grandchild to work with them! 4)They stole from my mother. 5)After calling management at Always Worst Care, they had the nerve to get an attitude with me. Their ads are all over Philadelphia, but do NOT trust your loved one to them. There are many more agencies that are MUCH better and more professional.

I never worked for this company but after seeing what my sister and mom experienced I never will…read more My sister worked for them for 2 years. She got pregnant and worked up until her 8th month she was forced to leave her job when she was told that they didn't offer maternity leave. Due to the fact that she also has my nephew at home who she pays his elementary school tuition on her own every month, she tried to get unemployment and was denied. She even offered to work light duty if she had to they told her all she could do is just leave her job when she was going to have the baby, just to not have a job to return to. Now on to my mothers experience with this company she's worked for them before until they hired someone else after she told them she would be caring for my ill grandfather who was dying so she was unable to work for a week. After a week she went back to find that they got someone to take her place permanently. After being without employment for almost a year she decided to give them another chance for them to never pay her on time, she didn't receive her paycheck for a month. And she still continues to work for this company its horrible my mom has to go weeks without pay and not able to pay her bills on time because their so unorganized. This company call they self Best care look more like the worst care to. If you want grow your company and get paid you should care for those who work directly with the patients more then anything, their the hardest workers and should be treated much better!!!
