An inflamed muscle. I pulled something or pushed something wrong during a training run. And now after seeing Rena Bissessar and the people at Vissers Physical Therapy, I feel much better. Expertise, efficiency, humanity -- Vissers is the dream package for PT. Currently, I'm progressing through the care plan, doing the stretches at home, and having a few followups ... but then only for what is necessary. And that's incredible -- past experiences with PT have always been a bit more hit-or-miss and my own comprehension of what needed to be done to get better. And a lot of PT places felt like they weren't really looking to help, they were looking to bill my insurance. Not so with Vissers! I feel like they get the science of PT as well as the art of being able to explain to each individual how to do the work/exercises to feel better faster. No gimmicks. No upsells. Just real, honest, workable action plans to put you back on your feet. Do you want to get better? Do you want to *really* get better? Stop looking and call these people. Schedule your appointment as soon as you can because the sooner you call them, the sooner you will feel and actually be better.

What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. What a fantastic person! I genuinely can't recommend Vissers highly enough. Come here to get stronger and better.

In May I went in for a session and paid $99 for two future sessions. I told as I always did, text him when I was ready to set up my next appointment. He never ever over the course of a year stated there was a month cut off not did he enforce such a rule. I usually waited a month or two before I went back and never had any type of pushback from him. Everything was cool. This last time after my May session I texted to set up an appointment as normal- no response. Thought to myself , that's odd.About a month later I texted again and said "hello" and "I never heard back last time I reached out. I received a "you got wrong number." Mmm how could I possible have the wrong number if I have you saved under Rapheal Acupuncture and I have thread of text from this number? No response. At this point I'm annoyed. WTF is going on? Who gets ghosted by their acupuncturist for no reason? I tried contacting him as normal no terms or conditions set beside 2 sessions for $99 - call/text when you want to come in. So now I'm here- venting and warning. If in fact you want to roll with the lie that you had presented me with a month cut -at least TELL ME give me the excuse via phone call or text. Some type, any type of response would have been nice. For me to get "wrong number" makes me angry. You took my money with no problem and now you want to ignore me when I reach out? So weird. I wish we at least had a fight or something. That would give some sort of explanation to his bizarre behavior. I even showed up to his office at my normal appointment time and no one came to the door. I was hoping he would say it was some type of misunderstanding and everything would have been fine. Yet again, no answer. It's like he randomly fell off the face off the earth. Crazy. I sent a text that I would have no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank. The bank sent me a letter saying the couldn't do much because he used "square" to charge the payment. He made up the LIE that he gave me a month to use it and somehow won the dispute ?( I was shocked to say the least). BOA said because he used "Square" to process the payment I had to dispute the charge with "Square." They gave a phone number in which the prompt said I need to go to the "Square" app and get a "code". Who the heck needs code to reach customer service? I may not get my $99 dollars back but please stay away from this guy. "Kevin"/Raphael" whatever your real name is: SHAME ON YOU! I may try and contact Square and seek justice. It's the principle at this point. I don't need the $99 that bad but it was my $99 non the less and if someone pays for a service don't take their money and run. Furthermore, don't add insult to injury and lie to the bank stating you put a term of a month which was NEVER the case ever. For example, I had a session in Nov then Feb, then March, then May and it was never a problem and they were ALWAYS prepaid. You were always very accommodating or so I thought! FYI His office is OBT. He may I have one in Clermont not sure. Number listed for the business that stated it was "the wrong number" all of a sudden is +1 (407) 808-2266. Buyer beware, do your homework. Go to a reputable acupuncturist that won't steal your money when you least expect it. I should have gone through my insurance anyway since I found out it was only $10 for me to go to a LEGIT Dr and not this knockoff of a Dr. In a way I guess it was a blessing in disguise since now I pay $10 for each sessions through my insurance. Thought the guy was a nice descent guy. Thought wrong. Anyhoo, the principle of this story: please don't give this crook your money or time. Below is MY PROOF of your shadiness Dr "Suh/Kevin/Rapheal." *Mic dropped*

I had horrible jaw, face, eye, mouth pain on one side of my face following a traumatic dental visit. It resulted in ocular migraines and I was fearful that I would experience some palsy similar to what I had in the past. He listened attentively to my prior health history, was very good at explaining his analysis and got straight to work. I found that his treatment was aggressive (lots of needles) but only because I was in so much pain and I have had A LOT of experience with acupuncture. This is in no way a negative. Based on the results (I am pain free) he treated as necessary. I only mention this because some acupuncturist are tentative the first time they treat a patient. What I want to convey is, he will treat you based on your need. I am so grateful for the healing work of Dr. Suh. Moreover, he has great hours, he is efficient and extremely affordable. If you are thinking of trying acupuncture, I recommend giving Dr. Suh a try.

So I got this Groupon for my mom to get acupuncture for her shoulder that's been hurting her for…read moreover six months. The actual office is inside some sketch building near the Florida mall. We were seen right away, which seems obvious considering it's a one man office. Kevin Gangwoo is the acupuncturist, and I guess "Doctor" of oriental medicine. He is actually pretty educated with a bachelor's from UCLA, and master's from Baylo U,. and several certifications from the State of Florida. He gave my mom a questionnaire which seemed (to me) to be a bit evasive, asking for SSN and work address... it's acupuncture not surgery. Eventually we moved on to the actual acupuncture, which is literally a door away from the consultation room. He room was not aesthetically pleasing. There was nothing that made you feel relaxed and no organization of the instruments used. He began by using these suction cups to "stimulate blood circulation" but he DID NOT USE GLOVES for the cups, the electric things, and the needles! This was a HUGE red flag. He also kept coming in and out and the door slams, this is suppose to be therapeutic. The only reason that I am giving four stars instead of two (due to the reasons above) is because IT ACTUALLY WORKED. My mom was able to move her arm, which she hasn't been able to do for months. Since we have a Groupon, we have another two visits but we might find another place that is cafes more about hygiene. If you decide to come, CHECK GROUPON!

I have had to use a physical therapist a few times in my life and I always look back and realize that it truly helped me recover and feel better. I have had lower back pain for almost a year and one afternoon while bending over to get laundry out of the dryer, my back went into a spasm! Wow... I could not move without pain for a number of days. I went to my doctor because I was not able to get to work and he gave me some muscle relaxers and pain pills... but he also prescribed Physical Therapy for me. A few days went by and there office called to make my first appointment. I went in and I met with Dylan. We talked about what got me there and what I had been doing to try and relive the pain. He worked magic on my lower back with a tool and was able to start to loosen up the knot he found down there. It was amazing! Lucky for me, my injury was not very bad. I went to see Dylan 5 or 6 times in total for my pain to be taken away. There are patients who have been going to this facility for a long time to help with their injures and they all seemed to be getting better. Each week I was given a number of lower back excises to do that stretched out my back and strengthened my muscles. After the workout, Dylan was able to use that tool to work on that knot! It was the best part of the whole session! The staff is very nice and very patient with everyone and I am very happy that I found good, caring people to help me with my pain. If I ever need physical therapy in the future, I know where I will be going. Enjoy and feel better!
