Then I found out it was an intermission since it was a long movie... odd.. in the US we just sit through the 3 hours lol they also have one heck of a snack bar option with tea and coffee in tea cups and stuff that you could bring into the theaters and there are little tables at your seats. You can actually get your beer in a glass here too which is a nice change. Usually they have a break in the film too so you can fill up or use the toilet. Since I have nothing to complain about and this is a nice new cinema I have to give it five stars. This area is also getting nicer with the Woodstone Pizza next door and a few other bars popping up close by. If you're ready for a night out, that should be a good combo. I have even heard they have events there and Wednesday seems to be ladies night, whatever that may entail.

If you're used to American movie theaters, I highly recommend looking at the concession stand menu beforehand. The options for what you can purchase is mind blowing. Around the middle of the movie there was a break in which you could stretch your legs, use the bathroom and resupply on snacks. Our movie was two hours so I definitely appreciated the intermission. Our movie had after-credits and the movie attendant was the one that came in and told everyone. I honestly would have never guessed, since I'm only used to after-credits in Marvel movies. They even dimmed the lights for the after-credit scene! All in all, worth every buck!

We got to see four fraud themed movies that day. Some theater rooms were small and these rooms probably can accommodate 50 people. But, room #1 was huge and this room also had booth section seating. The basement area had the coat check and restrooms. I think this movie theater has other events throughout the year besides being a regular movie theater for most of part. The location for the Pathé is great and it's accessible by metro and tram.

I really love how the entire process is streamlined in the theatres in Holland, where you self select your pre-bagged popcorn fresh from the shelf (kettle corn, butter, or plain!), soda/water, and candy. Once you've picked up your goodies, head over to the cashier to pay for the treats and get your tickets. Makes this go a lot faster than waiting in line twice! The theatre is spacious and clean, with plenty of movies to choose from. American films are a bit delayed coming here, but it has gotten a lot better over the years.
