I have seen Dr. Angelucci as my technical primary, and Dr. Willis as my everyday PA for several…read moreyears now, and I could not be happier. Dr. Angelucci is approachable and personable, something that is hard to find in my experience in a successful primary physician. She has great bedside manner and makes you feel absolutely comfortable even when situations are less than so. Dr. Willis is the reason I fought tooth and nail with insurance to keep CCPN as my group so that I could continue to see her/Angelucci. Dr. Willis is not only the best experience I have had with a doctor, but she believes me about my chronic migraine pain, which is exceedingly rare (many doctors think you're just cruising for drugs). She is relatable, genuinely wants to help, and like Dr. Angelucci, has wonderful bedside manner. She goes out of her way to ensure that her patients get the best care and feel as healthy as they can. Oh! And Neal at the front desk is THE best way to be greeted at any business, ever. He makes you feel like you are the only patient of the day every time you walk in, every time. He's great. Shout out for Neal.

I would be leaving a 1-star review, except that the PA I usually see in this office is amazing…read more(kind, friendly, caring, thorough). I chose to see a doctor, because the PA didn't have an appointment for a month, and I regret it. Quick summary is that the doctor asked what was going on, and I said I had a few things to discuss. She immediately cut me off and said that the chart said I was there for a shoulder related concern, and that if there was more it should be discussed at an annual visit. When I scheduled, I told the receptionist I had a few things to address; so I let the doctor know, and asked, so you're telling me I need to schedule another appointment to talk about more than my shoulder?! She then begrudgingly listened to my other concerns. But the entire interaction felt cold, dismissive, and rushed. I will go back to PCP, but never to this new doctor if I can help it. I'll stick with the amazing PA I know and trust. I wasn't asking for a lot of time, for the record. My health concerns are simple, and took less than 30 seconds to explain. If the doctor had any true concern for her patients, she could have asked a few probing questions and had me out of there in just as much time as she took to dismiss me and try to get me to schedule another visit. I rarely go to a doctor, mostly because of experiences like this. I would like to explore ways to feel better, but not at the expense of having to deal with a dismissive doctor who has forgotten that she is working FOR her patients. Patients pay for care, she is not providing a free service.

Without a doubt, Dr. Hilty is one of the very best (if not the best) doctors I've ever dealt with…read more When he is talking with you, you are the most important person in the room. He is totally focused on what you say and answers questions in clear terms. Dr. Hilty is not the least bit standoffish, and a conversation with him is enjoyable. Dana, his nurse/technician, is also a pleasure to deal with. Both have a good sense of humor -- kind of useful in the health care arena these day. If you get a blood test or send him anything, he calls you the day he receives it to discuss the results or to confirm receipt. No guessing about "did he get it?" First time I've ever had a doctor take that approach. Luckily, I am pretty healthy, and as far as I can tell, Dr. Hilty wants me to stay that way.

His MDVIP-affiliated practice is open to new patients, including Medicare and commercially insured, in San Luis Obispo. Dr. Hilty sees fewer patients, which means he has more time to offer. His practice offers the MDVIP Wellness Program, which includes advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests that have been shown to help detect issues earlier.

For a second time while there with apointment I was physicaly assaulted and verbally threatened, then chased off the property and across the street by staff. Staff called SLO-PD who arrived and threatened to arrest me and tow my car before any questions or investigation. Staff actively lied to police about the reason for my visit. I was forced to detail private medical information to police and public there about embarrassing colon procedures to avoid arrest and tow. Acording to Sierra Vista and police who agreed 'DARK SKIN MADE ME LOOK SUSPICIOUS'. Which required this response. And in some twist, both agreed that 'Google was evil and it is ILLEGAL FOR GOOGLE TO PHOTOGRAPH HOSPITAL PROPERTY FROM SPACE'. (They are not very bright) I had to listen to the recording several times, even after hearing it with my own ears. The first time, I was there, on phone with an on premises cptsd therapist, and waiting for my physical appointment. Next thing I know, security guards are harassing me while I'm on the phone appointment, then SLO-PD show up and surround my car in firing positions, yelling at me to leave immediately or be forced out of the vehicle in the handicap space and arrested.

Dr. Fong is the most brilliant and caring doctor my husband and I have ever met. One appointment…read morewith her, where she made a particularly obscure medical diagnosis in about 10 minutes flat, was all I needed to see. She continues to dial in our health care needs, with a laser beam focus. It was a no brainer to choose her as our primary care physician, 20 years ago. The only frustration I had in those early years, was the huge number of patients who overcrowded her practice, and insurance companies that ran her through the financial ringer... like they do to most well meaning doctors who try to serve everyone who comes through the door with insurance. About two years ago she changed her practice to a MDVIP concierge practice. At first, my family and I were a little dismayed to pay the prices they asked, but we are in middle age and decided to stick it out if it meant having an easier time getting appointments with her that weren't booked out months in advance. The change was dramatic. Instead of trying to manage a practice of over 2,000 patients, she has cut down to a manageable load of just under 500. We can text her at any time of day, and, if it's really important, get an answer directly from her in as little as 5 min depending on our urgency. We now get annual health screenings and bloodwork once per year as a part of the MDVIP program. This is a very thorough physical with the findings having been processed through the Cleveland Heart Clinic, and the results being filtered by Fong's brilliant mind to us at an appointment lasting 1.5 hours. This information informs our health decisions with real data we can address in advance. In addition, appointments now are easy to get, with illnesses and other urgent health matters guaranteed to be seen or referred out personally by Dr Fong within 24 hours or less. Dr Fong has always conducted thorough appointments, but now she has the time and the resources to really get to know us on a more intimate basis. She monitors our health, medications, and habits so that she can make long term suggestions affecting our longevity and quality of life more easily. After two years of paying the MDVIP fees, which amount to about $165 per month, it seems like a bargain to get such a powerful health advocate and her team on our side going into our mid/late 60's and beyond. The full amount paid is tax deductible. If that makes us upper class rich people in someone's eyes, so be it. I, for one, think Dr. Fong's fees are low compared to the dedication and expertise she brings to the table in such an easily accessible format. Why am I writing this review? I certainly don't want to bring in a slew of new patients for Dr Fong. I like that her load has been lessened. The reason I write is because when I see 3 stars for a 5 star physician, it makes me a little sick. When I read the 2 bad reviews, it's clear these people either 1) were old clients who went to see her before she was able to cut back on her patient load, or 2) simply don't value having a top doctor on their team of health care professionals enough to pay $165 per month for unlimited access to the best. To each his/her own. Once one has been really sick, the value of Dr Fong's attentiveness to detail, medical connections to the best specialists, and years of training and experience become starkingly real. I'd rather go without one dinner out per week and have a doctor who really knows me by my side through old age. That's Dr Fong for me.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Fong for many years. She is a brilliant diagnostician…read more She has never been one to "rush" you through your appointments. Questions are encouraged and completely answered. Being in the MD-VIP program is expensive, however I believe it possibly saved my husband's life. Her thorough annual physical including an EKG picked up my husband's cardiac problem. This opened doors to cardiac referrals and ultimately he needed and received a pacemaker implant. I have had a very complicated medical history and she has dealt with it all with caring and knowledgeable decisions. We feel special and on a first name basis with her and the staff. We are very blessed to have Dr Fong watching over us.
