If bending over backwards to help were literal rather than metaphorical, these guys would be able to lick the backs of their own heels I've shopped here many times, almost always for something I don't know the first thing about other than that I need one, and the staff have been unfailingly helpful. They have an impressive selection of auto accessories in stock considering the size of the store and are always willing to get hold of stuff they don't have right now. The downside - if you can call it that - is that the prices aren't as low as you'll find in pile-it-high-sell-it-cheap shops where the staff don't know anything. Likewise, you'll save money ordering things online. But tell me this: faced with a customer who has just spent seven quid on a new headlight bulb, how many store managers would spend THIRTY MINUTES fitting it for them, free of charge? I dropped a mountain bike wheel into Halfords at Cribbs in Bristol to be trued left it a whole day…read more, I picked it up tried fitting it to my bike only to find it rubbing on the swinging arm I took it back a second time only to find it still the same when I picked it up and fitted it again. On the third attempt I took my mountain bike into the store I was then told the bike frame was bent . The bike was raised up on a bike stand and one of the kids had his mobile phone with a spirit level on it resting on the swinging arm and said look its not level like it should be I replied neither is the bike stand .If someone didn't have the knowledge that I have they would of probably gone along with them and bought a new bike. Anyhow the wheel was taken out the back once again and what a surprised it come back out near enough perfect and they said the truing stand was twisted . This wasn't just one member of staff it was several that I dealt with and they are all not long out of nappies I don't know who trains them but they don't have much respect for peoples bikes they are not careful at all and i certainly wouldn't want to buy a new bike and watch them fit it up . Some other customer was there to pick a new bike up when i was there and it still had underinflated tyres. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVERYONE ELSE BE AWARE .
