The best barbershop in north jersey. Period. Wassim is a wizard with the scissors, and gives you a world class cut every time. I was traveling 45-60 mins into Hoboken to get taken care of by a great barber, but that became hard when my wife and I had our second child. Wassim and his staff have filled that role and are a quick 10 minute drive from my house. Make no mistake, these are best barbers in the area and the price is unreal- in a very good way. I also want to throw a lot of praise at Bruno and Mehmeti. Bruno is one of the very best fade specialists in the business. He's my weekly go to. Mehmeti is the guy you want when scissors and longer hair come into play. Between the three of them, these guys provide unreal service for the price you pay. I'd say it's the best barbershop that I've been to- and that includes nyc, Philly and jersey. Glad they're only 15 mins away. Highly recommend Wassim, Bruno, Mehmeti and team. I got my haircut way back in July but I was so impressed with Wassim's skill and hospitality that I had to make sure to write this testimonial even after returning home to San Francisco after 2+ months. This was simply the best haircut I've ever gotten. My hair is very coarse and thick and my head is asymmetrical enough that I've paid for much more expensive haircuts where I still had to go home and spend a half hour fixing it (even though the same barber had gotten to know my hair already). I didn't have to make a single touch up after Wassim cut my hair for his very first time. I was so happy with how the cut was going that I opted to go for a full shave as well which I've never done before. Wassim was kind enough to squeeze in this last minute request before his next appt. The full shave looked and felt great! It's also a great sign that while I was seated, two random customers complimented Wassim and his shop of barbers with how well they take care of their customers for many years. I recently moved into the area and was in desperate need of a barber. After some research I found this place and I'm glad that I did. Reservations are easy to make, the place is located in a great area. The shop is extremely clean and very modern. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed . I got my haircut with Nouri. He was great, quick and cut my hair exactly how I asked, to be honest better than I expected . He was very professional and a pleasant to talk too. This was BY FAR the worst hair cut experience of my life. Unfortunately that's no exaggeration. I just moved to NJ so I was looking for a new barber to replace my go-to guy in the LES. This place is the same price I'm used to spending ($25 for a normal haircut) and has excellent reviews so I decided to give it a try. I made my appointment through the "booksy" app they recommend and specified I wanted Wassim to cut my hair as a number of people have already called him out as being great. When I came in, a wasn't greeted so I approached the first person who looked like they worked here and told him I had an appointment. He ushered me to his chair. As I'm new here I have no idea if Wassim was the person to cut my hair as he never introduced themselves and aside from asking me what I wanted, never ushered another word to me. I'm not one for small talk but it would have been nice to learn the guy's name, have him know mine, and just chat enough where I felt I was a valuable customer. After all I'm looking for my next go-to barber I'll be going to every 4-6 weeks for the foreseeable future. This guy, whoever he was, was rough as hell. The roughest haircut I've ever gotten. So rough in fact that the latex gloves he was wearing was shredded by the time he was done. He was so rushed the entire time (despite no one waiting for a haircut) that it was if he was being timed. I don't know if he got a bonus for cutting hair in record time but it certainly seemed that was his goal. He never asked me how I wanted the back of my hair (most barbers typically ask, "rounded, squared, or natural"). He also never even showed my the back of my hair at the end so it wasn't until I went home and asked my wife that I found out he went with a natural fade in back. He also never used a razor on the back of my neck which I thought was pretty standard. Worst of all is that I asked for "just a trim on top" and unlike every other haircut I've ever had, where the barber shows how much they're thinking of taking off, waiting to see if I approve, this guys goes all in. I'm not sure what barber school he went to but his interpretation of a "trim" was nearly 3 inches. He was going so fast that by the time he started chopping off my hair it was too late. Over the past decade I've had the same hairstyle, I've gone to about 16 different barbers. This cut is by far the shortest I've ever had. It's laughably shorter than anything I've ever had. My wife couldn't help but giggle a bit when she saw it. Just as an icing on the shitty haircut experience cake, he dosed my head with hairspray when he was done. Most barbers would have asked if I wanted any product and then used some sort of paste if I wanted something. Unfortunately because the issue is how short it is, there's no fixing it. I just have to wait for it to grow back out. I'm disgusted at not only the cut but the overall haircut experience I had with this guy. I'm shocked this place's rating. read more

Adam is my go to barber since I moved to Bergen County. I have only found two master barbers in my entire life that I've visited and Adam is one of them. Went here for the first time today. Based on the reviews, I made an appointment with Wassim. I live in Ridgewood and have been driving to Secaucus for the past 8 years to my favorite barber. They unfortunately closed their doors permanently due to Covid-19, however, it was a blessing in disguise for me. Patchi Alotchi is my new go-to barber shop and only a couple minutes from home. The place is ok but the haircut is too dammed expensive. To get a skin fade haircut cost $35 without the tip and it only took 20 mins to cut my hair. What a RIP off!! They charging customers ridiculous. I won't recommend this place at all. And I'm not satisfied at all on my haircut.. read more

I am incredibly cautious about getting my haircut at a new location especially with a barber that hasn't ever cut my hair before because my hair is very difficult to cut. I have a cowlick on the front right side of my head which basically means that the front right side of my hair grows toward the back of my head unlike the front left that grows normally and straight forward so unless you are a skilled barber if you do not take this into account while cutting my hair it will end up looking like a disaster and in the few instances that has happened I never stepped foot in that Shop again. However, this barber I showed a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and he did a good job, Also, I was his last customer of the night on a Friday or Saturday which most shops close early or won't take you without an appointment but it was still only $20. I would go back to this Barbershop and I would say that they are a great place to go to get a haircut even if it's your first time there. The only thing that gives me pause with making this my regular Barber Shop was the actual Barber that cut my hair. He did okay, I showed him a picture and he got close to it but he didn't pay attention to details and he missed a few spots that I had to ask him to go back and fix. I didn't know his name but he was older I would say around 50 years old, I even asked for a card to come back but he didn't even write his name where it said barber name on the card. He was clearly skilled, idk if he was just tired since I was his last guy, if he is always lazy and/or his tools were old but the fade was tight for the most part. He just didn't have the newest tools also I hate when a barber just goes as fast as possible and doesn't even take the time to examine to see if he missed a spot and when you're asking for a skin fade on the bottom or any tight fade on the bottom and sides it is inexcusable to not take the extra minute it takes to line everything up with a straight razor. Other than that I'd give the haircut a 7/10, above average especially for a last second appointment but I saw a few of the other barbers working while I was waiting and I'm going to go back and wait for one of them because their work was incredible, especially this guy in his late 20's I couldn't believe how insanely precise his cut was and he had a set of brand new tools. They have some incredibly talented barbers there and even probably the worst barber there was very good I am just incredibly picky when it comes to my haircut. Next time I go there I am going to find out what that incredibly talented barber's name was and I'll make sure to post a follow up review. Regardless this place is very good and underrated and I'm going back without a doubt. read more

Just took my very active 2 year old for his first real haircut. Barber was beyond patient and literally wiped my kids nose during the hair cut. Despite some squirming, the barber took his time to ensure a great cut- far beyond the quick and dirty children's cuts you get elsewhere. read more

This shop has been my tried and true source for a good haircut, shave and beard trim. But unfortunately that is no longer the case. I attempted on many occasions in the last 2 weeks to make an appoitnmntusing their booking site. After many failed attempts because "all appointments are booked door the next 2 weeks"! I called the shop only to be told that they were no longer taking appointments, but serving walk-in customers only. What a shame. For both them and me. I don't mind paying $50+ for a haircut & shave, but I'm certainly not going to pay that when I don't know which barber will be working with me. And my first two visits there, many, over a year ago ago were not successful for me. The barbers were okay, but their techniques were downright rough and rushed, so I used to book an appointment with one specific barber who cut my hair and groomed my beard in a way that I preferred. The gentleman that cut my hair asked if I wanted my hair medium on the sides and long on top and I said yes. He then cut me short on the top and butchered the back of my head including giving me razor burn. I have natural curvy hair for a guy. The guy then straightened my hair after cutting it.
