One person to greet you and direct you to a closed small room where you have an "interactive" teller. The lady based in Whitehall was fine but I was just sad at having to scan my Id and talk to a screen. It felt so isolating. Total loss of community feel that I loved so much about Kemba. The interactive teller could not complete the transaction so back to the concierge, I went to stand behind one person. Three people were behind me. It felt like the grocery store bank of self checkout where one unfortunate employee is stuck dealing with all the customers. Very sad.

I was totally cut off of my accounts at the end of September when I needed it to pay bills I had no access until I went to a live ATM teller to get my member number in order to change my password. For us, it was an emergency because we breed chinchillas and they are very temperature sensitive. They can die from heatstroke in just minutes. We were panicking. After getting a quote for a new unit from a company, I called CUO. I spoke with two very friendly, kind people and explained my situation. About 90 minutes later, I left the nearby branch with check in hand for a replacement central air unit. The Branch Manager and the Member Service Representative literally saved over 40 little chinchilla lives. They should feel very proud of the work they did today. I am so grateful to these two (you know who you are). Great job, and thanks again so very much!

My contractor said the draws (when they go to the bank to get the next payment for work being done) were the easiest he had ever been involved with. He was going to recommend all of his renovation clients use the Arlington Bank for their ease of use and rates. When the project was done, the bank rolled the loan into a new first mortgage for us. Easy peasey. In this day and age of financial scandals, it's great to know that there is a trustworthy option right here in town.

You can tell that everyone here cares about helping you. I love going into the Hilliard branch and being greeted by Reta. She is friendly, helpful and always interested in what's going on in your life. It's always like talking to an old friend. As far as services, they have everything that a regular bank offers. I find online banking to be simple and easy to use. The Hilliard branch is closest to my house but this credit union participates in shared branching too, so there are several credit unions along my commute that I can also perform transactions at for free. Quick story, I got a (gag) gift for my wedding that included hundreds of crumpled up dollar bills in a vase. I took them all into Credit Union of Ohio and they were super patient counting the money and accepting it without making me feel awkward. (It took quite awhile - imagine wads of hundreds of crumpled dollars.) I'm not sure I would have gotten a similar attitude or such positive service somewhere else. I would recommend this credit union. They have great rates for loans, etc. too and they are very supportive of the Hilliard community. I enjoy being a member because I understand the importance of credit unions so that we as consumers continue to have options and choices when it comes to our finances.
