I ordered a chocolate mousse cake with raspberry filling slice and a Dubai cheesecake through DoorDash today. I received the Black Forest cake that had cherries in it and omg the cheesecake was absolutely disgusting. I took one bite and had to throw it out. The bottom crust was thick and it tasted old and stale. The actual cheesecake part tasted so weird - didn't really taste like pistachio. The kadayfi was stale, old and hard. It was just horrendous. Waste of my $10 I usually order a slice of cake from here since DoorDash has those double deals where they don't charge you extra for a second stop. And usually the cake slices are decent enough but oh man, today's delivery/purchase was terrible.

Labubu Cake

I ordered this cake for a birthday, and it completely blew us away. The design was spot-on--fun, whimsical, and absolutely adorable. The shaggy pink frosting detail looked just like fluffy fur, and the character face on top gave it so much personality. Everyone couldn't stop taking pictures before we even cut into it! Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted just as good as it looked. The cake was moist, the frosting was light (not overly sweet), and it held up perfectly through the party. You could tell a lot of care went into both the decoration and the baking. If you're looking for a cake that's both a showstopper and delicious, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for birthdays, themed parties, or any celebration where you want people to say "Wow!"

Love their savery crepes and best pink champagne cake. Very friendly service and best cakes in vegas .

I finally found A pastry place for my Napoleon!!!

Excellent service! They are always courteous and friendly ! The store has the best in Napoleon in town I make sure I make my way here every single time. I'm in town

My grandma had requested a champagne cake for her birthday and I couldn't find one near me in California. Since we were celebrating in Vegas, I started looking around here. I couldn't find a ready made one until I came across Pastry Palace. We were able to prepay for the cake to ensure we had a cake set aside for us. THANK YOU PASTRY PALACE! You made a very special moment for us even more special!

Most delicious and beautiful cake we've ever had! We ordered a vanilla cake with Bavarian cream. It was just too perfect for words! The customer service was great, cake testing was quick and they made it so easy to customize. This was for my daughter's quinceañera, we had about 100 guests and everyone was raving about the cake.

Fruit Tart
Trinity

Shockingly, not many places have a simple tarte with fresh fruit! Pastry palace has well priced and sized pastries and I love their fruit tart! The fruits are perfectly ripe and glazed gorgeously, the pastry is soft and crisp and has a great structure.

This cake was the best cake that ive ever had the taste was 100000 percent tasty and they did the cake the exact same way as the picture I found in their site thanks so much for everything

They made a custom cake for my granddaughter's ninth birthday. It was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend this place. They went above and beyond to create what I asked for. Thank you!

Cake

I debated long and hard before I posted this review. I've been a loyal customer of this bakery for 7 years. My family has ordered a total of 16 cakes during that time. Because of that history, I've always trusted the quality and attention to detail, especially from the decorator (Paul) I have only ever worked with. He even remembers all my birthday cakes and says he looks forward to making them yearly. For my family's most recent order, we were not informed that he was unavailable due to illness. Had I known, it would have postponed without hesitation. It would've never been an issue. Instead, the cake was given to a baker I had never spoken with. The result was a cake with several rushed and noticeable flaws and missing details that had been discussed in advance with the regular baker (Paul). Due to our relationship, I always trust him to remember what we discussed. It has never been a problem for 7 years! When I reached out privately to express my concerns and ask how the situation could be remedied, the responses I received were dismissive and, frankly, unprofessional. When I pointed out the details missing from the cake that had been discussed, I was responded to very rudely. I pointed out the cracked fondant on the mask where they tried to wet it to stick it back together, the lips being the same color as his cheeks, the eyes being thrown on there and not smoothed, etc. I was told the design was "chef's choice,". This is true; however the CHEF whose choices I trusted was not there to make those choices for the cake. Again, the original baker and I had reviewed several reference photos and specific details. Textures, colors, etc. Even something as simple as the banner being blue so it would stand out against the black board wasn't even done. Instead, they threw a black banner on the black board. It all blended together. I never requested a refund, yet I was met with unprofessional comments implying I was seeking one. I was also told that he does not "find [himself] willing to further extend [himself]" for future orders. This was beyond surprising to hear and basically a slap in the face after so many years of loyalty. It honestly sounds like a threat to make lackluster cakes in the future! Just to reinforce, he wasn't even the one to make the cake. So, to make a threat like this after ONE complaint in 7 YEARS and 16 cakes is just disgusting. Insane and extremely unprofessional response from a business. I wish there was a better word because unprofessional doesn't even cover it. I understand mistakes happen, especially when someone falls ill unexpectedly, but the way a business handles those mistakes matters. What ultimately led me to leave this review was the tone and unwillingness to acknowledge the issue or work toward a solution. It was a very narcissistic response, as if they can't take criticism based on obviously rushed work. This isn't the experience I've had for the past 7 years, but it is the experience I had this time. And unfortunately, this will be the last experience I will have with this business. I hope the bakery takes this feedback seriously. I truly hope they will learn to accept responsibility for sloppy work in order to avoid instances like this in the future so they can keep loyal clients returning. ( side note.. I did not ask for a refund. I asked if the cake could be remade properly)

Maryana S.

Their cakes are absolutely beautiful and delicious! This place never disappoints, exactly what I asked for

Pokémon cake

Pastry Palace never fails me. They have been making both of my kid's cakes for the last 6 years. This time around I asked for a Pokémon cake and we were not disappointed. It was a simple design but came out perfect. The service is always so friendly and welcoming and is helpful when I'm indecisive. Most importantly, the cake is soooo delicious! The cake is moist and the frosting and Bavarian cream is not too sweet.

Mini hand filled cannolis
Michelle F.

Pastry Palace is what I would like to call a universal diversity bakery. This place has it all; Italian cookies and cannolis, Mexican tres leches flans, all occasion fancy cakes ready made/to order, custom French crepes, macarons, meringues and so much more! It's hard deciding what to choose as everything looks and smells amazing. I ordered a bunch of the petite cannoli's that were freshly hand filled and had a sweetened marscapone filling with mini chocolate chips on the ends. The shells were perfectly sized and had a nice crunch. However, the cannoli filling was a little too thick and lacked the presence of traditional authentic kirsch/cherry nuance. Please note depending on what region of Italy you are from depends on how the filling is made. The decorated cakes look very well put together, evenly frosted/decorated with a variety of flavors and vibrant colors available. It's nice they have a variety of cakes by the slice too. They do have a fresh crepe station which was very nice surprise to see in the bakery. They also featured a ice cream corner too! Pricing was in line with other bakeries and they don't skimp on quality or ingredients from all the visuals of items I saw.

The edible image, half is on the sugar paper and half is printed none edible paper that holds the sugar paper.

Very small interior, but a vast selection of treats. They offer donuts, cookies, even banana bread! Unfortunately with my evening visit, all of the donuts were sold out. Again, I came for the cookies so not a problem. I chose the Cookie Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie as well as the White Chocolate Chip Ube. I took them home as take out. Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

It didn't taste artificial at all like at St**b**ks. I'm pretty sure they make the apple syrup in house. Perfectly spiced and comforting. I would come back just for this drink but unfortunately I think it's a seasonal item. Strawberry Mille-Feuille: They make this fresh, so I had to wait about 5-10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it. The pastry was beautifully crispy and the cream had the perfect texture with visible vanilla bean specks. I even found myself licking the paper it came on and didn't care who saw me because it was that good. Mushroom Crêpe: Yes, it's worth the hype. The photos online make it look very cheesy, but it's actually quite light. My husband doesn't like cheese and couldn't even taste it. I ordered it without mayo to keep it a little lighter. The tiny mushrooms were adorable, and it comes served in a cute crêpe holder. Coconut Cake: The cake was incredibly soft and fluffy with custard cream layered in between. They didn't have individual slices, so I ordered the mini cake for $17. Yes, I ate the entire thing. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, I think I've had enough coconut cake now in one sitting to last a lifetime. Yuzu Panna Cotta: Very unique. I haven't seen this dessert anywhere else. The yuzu adds a bright tangy flavor that almost makes the panna cotta taste like a creamy citrus yogurt. I'm really glad I tried it. Matcha Latte: Strong, high-quality matcha. Sometimes matcha drinks at cafés taste watered down, but not here. It's topped with matcha foam and little matcha brownie bits, which makes it extra special. Strawberry Dessert: My kids loved this. Every bite was a surprise. My 9-year-old found beans in one bite and then a big strawberry hidden in the middle. It was fun watching them discover it. Parking is easy and straightforward, and the café itself is absolutely adorable. If you have time, sit down and enjoy the experience.

I love that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating and allow animals in the outdoor area. The seating, inside and out, is great. I chose a hot sandwich, the Morning, along with the Apple Black Tea. The meal was nice, and I appreciated being able to choose the level of toastiness for the bread or bagel. But when I tell you...that tea was everything! It had a smooth, lightly sweet apple flavor--no bitterness like typical black tea. The staff is kind, and your food is brought right to your seat, which is a very nice touch. Note: they do use latex gloves, so keep that in mind if you have allergies. I also enjoyed looking at the décor and the display of pastries, drinks, and items available for purchase to take home. Overall, it was a very nice experience. The music wasn't loud, and the service was great. Definitely worth stopping in. Thanks for the experience! Happy Yelping

I wish I'd bought four my last day in Vegas because Dad accidentally ate the one for Mom instead of his apple pastry ... and he said there wasn't any filling. Yes, there wasn't supposed to be filling in the crispy, flaky, cinnamon sugar dusted DKA! I first had Cronuts at Paris Baguette so I knew what I was about to experience back at the Grove in 2019. I ordered one here in Vegas and this month's flavor was coconut creme. Very light in flavor, same heaviness I've gotten used to from croissant donuts. They were also offering milk chocolate flavor this month that I wasn't aware of when ordering. I wanted to try the madeleines after gifting a friend the new IOTA hand cream made in partnership with DA himself. I ordered the lemon madeleines instead and was confused since they were coated in this earl grey white chocolate. The madeleine was drenched in maybe milk so it was so soft like tres leches with a lemon custard center. I went back the next day and ordered fresh, piped and baked to order mini madeleines-- twenty pieces for ~$12?! I should've bought at least two orders! And they smell just like the hand cream! So I went and bought myself the cream from ULTA to remember my DA Vegas breakfast runs while staying at Caesar's Palace. Also, my sister LOVES the pain au chocolat! She had it twice and probably should've bought more. It's pricey at $10 but worth the splurge. DKAs also run at $10 each. Get a nice four piece box as a gift for about $41. Oh! I forgot I bought three canelés. Ended up eating two of them. Opt for the bag instead of the box to save money. Custardy center with a chewy exterior, tastes a bit like slightly burnt brown sugar, in the best way possible. Finally tried the infamous chocolate chip cookie shot with steamed Madagascar vanilla milk! The cookie is warmed in their oven for ultimate melty chocolate-ness. I'm glad I shared this. Maybe I'll try the torched marshmallow ice cream bar one day. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Line goes by quickly. They have a few tables to sit at for a quick snack or breakfast.

We ordered two mango mochi and the mochi beignets. The mango mochi was honestly underwhelming. It's essentially a regular piece of mango -- the kind you could easily find at Costco or a grocery store -- wrapped in mochi. For $8 a piece, it didn't feel worth the price, especially considering all the hype online. I think it would have felt more special if they used higher-quality or imported mangoes. The mochi beignets were better and definitely enjoyable, but they still didn't stand out enough for me to fully understand the craze. One thing I did appreciate was the staff. Even though the café was extremely busy, everyone was still friendly and working hard to keep things moving. The ambiance is nice enough for a quick stop, though nothing particularly memorable.
