Nice cafe in Armação de Pêra to grab a drink or food.
We were staying nearby and decided to come here for a light breakfast before heading out for a hike.
The cafe was decently crowded when we came around 9:30, especially the outdoor seats. We also sat outside to enjoy the breeze and the ocean views since it was a nice day out.
I had egg and bacon toast sandwich for 5€, while my friend had coffee and the egg Ki sandwich (which comes with egg and avocado) for 5.50€. I also got a nata for 1.70€.
I was expecting both of our dishes to be a regular sandwich, but it was more like an open face sandwich. The only different was that my bread was cut into smaller pieces while my friend's "sandwich" was served on two large pieces of bread.
Both were decent, but we had to ask for salt for my friend's sandwich as it was completely bland. I ate the nata at the end and found it too sweet, so I wasn't a huge fan of it. read more
