The menu is traditionally Italian, with pasta, pizzas, meat, and fish dishes based on southern Italian classics. On our visit, service was friendly and efficient. On our first visit, we both had a side salad, followed by pasta. Side salads were very fresh and generous, with proper Italian dressing. Both pasta dishes were well, flavoured and - joy of joys - the pasta was al dente. We decided to eat here again before we left Trier. On our second visit, I had a pizza Contadina (vegetarian) and my partner had scallopini Italia, a pork escalopes, topped with tagliatelle and bolognaise sauce. I got the first Riesling listed under those of Trier and it was sweet and smooth. For my meal, I got the first pizza listed under the white pizzas. It had honey, goat cheese, and bacon. Both of my selections were recommended by the waitress and were so delicious!! She was easy to communicate with and happy to help us. The man who seemed to be in charge was so kind and checked on us repeatedly throughout the meal, asking us where we were from and shaking our hands before we left. It was nice to feel genuinely welcomed by a restaurant! We couldn't ask for a better experience. There are many tables out on the patio and also tables inside, where it was cool and comfortable for a hot July day.

It doesn't look special from outside but already little bit fancy inside. Everyone was wearing casual cloth so we didn't feel uncomfortable. From what I can tell about the other people it seems like the perfect restaurant to hang out after a long shopping trip. The staff was super friendly and they made the kitchen stay open a little longer. We had a table in our own little corner which was super because we could still see the other guests but still had privacy. The menu is huge, there's so many dishes and it's hard to make up your mind but all of it sounds delicious. We decided to try snails (if we wouldn't like it, it wouldn't have been offensive to 'spit' them in the napkin, because of our cute corner). But they were amazing!!! For dinner I had pasta filled with walnut and some kind of walnut sauce. That was the moment when I fell in love with this place! I haven't eaten that good in a long time. And the best part: for a water, a large soda, a coffee, the starter and two main dishes, we paid 37€!!! Awesome place!!!!

I ordered the Mango Lemonade (very refreshing and tasty) as well as a Caprese salad as an appetizer. The salad was so good! *Highly Recommend*.
