The menu is traditionally Italian, with pasta, pizzas, meat, and fish dishes based on southern Italian classics. On our visit, service was friendly and efficient. On our first visit, we both had a side salad, followed by pasta. Side salads were very fresh and generous, with proper Italian dressing. Both pasta dishes were well, flavoured and - joy of joys - the pasta was al dente. We decided to eat here again before we left Trier. On our second visit, I had a pizza Contadina (vegetarian) and my partner had scallopini Italia, a pork escalopes, topped with tagliatelle and bolognaise sauce. Again we were impressed with the quality and, while generous, portions were not excessive. Recommended.

Since it's mostly tourist that visits this establishment the waiters or host should inform customers when they enter the restaurant. No big deal because we figured it out and the machine was really cool since it's very user friendly like an iPad or an ATM. As for the food though it wasn't the greatest "Japanese" cuisine I've had. The food was already made so all they do is place it in the microwave and heat it up with the rice or vegetables depending on your order. Meat was dry, seems all the rice soaked up the moisture so the rice was greasy, vegetables like onions were uncooked and sauce accompanying the meal was bland.
