Went on a cold, rainy night. Place was not very busy. Greeted with smiles and a loaf of warm bread…read moreand dipping oil. I will say the dipping oil was interesting - olive oil, balsamic, dried tomatoes and a variety of spices. Very flavorful and a great start to the meal. Our server was very attentive. Decided to spilt the Caesar salad and have pizza. Salad was large enough for two. Lettuce was crisp and dressing was modest. Large slices of Parmesan, croutons and cherry tomatoes gave it some lift. Would have liked fewer croutons and perhaps a few anchovies if available. My fault for not asking. Had the large Margarita pizza with added pepperoni. Perfection ! Thin crust fire oven prepared. Chewy crust was superb. Highly recommend without any reservations. Will return.

We were SO pleasantly surprised by Cucina Bella! We were in Galena for a little getaway and we…read moredecided to eat here after reading some online reviews. We loved everything about our meals and we got to start with delicious focaccia and slightly spicy olive oil provided as a starter by the restaurant. We had a great server named Logan and the food was served in a perfectly spaced manner. We started with calamari that had some nice spice to it and served with asparagus and sun dried tomatoes. We also shared a margarita pizza which had perfectly spread basil on top and a crispy crust. I shared the eggplant parmigiana meal with my friend and splitting the eggplant still gave us plenty to eat. Our meal came with a very large salad big enough for the whole table to share. It was perfectly dressed and we ate every last bit of it. We ended with tiramisu, a cannoli and carrot cake, that was a HUGE slice. The desserts were good but not as impressive as our meals. We really loved this place and felt so fortunate to have picked it as our dinner destination!

From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for. Their hospitality was warm, attentive, and sincere--exactly the kind of service that turns a great meal into a memorable experience. The food was absolutely terrific--beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and pride. Every dish was thoughtfully executed, and it was a joy to share the experience with good friends around such outstanding food. Caliza is the kind of place that reminds you why dining out can be special: excellent cuisine, gracious service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Gregory and Natalia have created something truly special, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

Whatever you do avoid at all costs…read more It was the biggest rip off of my life. The calamari were thin little dried up calamari rings, a plate of maybe 15 of them for $17. It was the worst calamari of my life and a tiny portion. The lasagna was overcooked noodles. You couldn't even tell there were noodles. They were so soft and starchy. They were the opposite of aldente . And it only had hamburger meat. There was no flavor no basil no nothing. It tasted like canned lasagna from Chef Boyardee. And it was extremely expensive. We got the Mediterranean chicken plate, which in the Yelp it shows kebabs, but they served it all loose small pieces of dark brown meat hardly any meat at all and a smear of hummus on the plate like they took a butter, knife and put about a 10th of an ounce of hummus. These guys are very greedy in their portions and they charge a ton of money and the food taste like absolute garbage. The people next to me, we're eating the Alfredo noodle noodles or something, and it just looked like they took heavy whipping cream and put it on spaghetti. It was just white cream. It looked totally barf Disgusting. Going here with the biggest regret of my year so far because it cost over $100 for this garbage and I had to go to get a burrito afterwards because I was starving when I got done with this hell hole
