Updating my previous review based on my experience at the HAMILTON location. Arrived at 8:20 AM on a Wednesday (10 minutes before opening) and was the 5th person in line. At 8:30 AM sharp, the doors opened and an elderly security guard greeted everyone and ushered us inside. After a few steps, there was a lady directing each person to numbered booths. I ended up at booth 18. The agent was super efficient in processing my paperwork and I was out of there in 6 minutes! Fastest visit to the passport office ever. There is plenty of paid parking nearby, but if you arrive early, you can easily find free 1 hour or even 2 hour parking. I believe if there are no markings, you can park for 3 hours. Try looking for parking in the residential areas within 1 km of the passport office if you have time, but beware of permit only parking spaces. read more

I'm surprising myself with giving a 5 star review but based on my experience it was just that. Initially I came on a Tuesday at 1130am and it was packed, all seats were taken up and some people were standing. The line to get a number was about 10 people which seemed to be moving quick. Overall it looked like an 1 hour+ wait so I decided to come back earlier the next day. Came back on Wed at 7:59am (opens at 8am) and there was about 15-20 people in line already. Doors opened promptly at 8am. Line moved quick and I got my number in 5 mins, I was extra impressed that the initial person checked all my documents and pictures to ensure they were to standard instead of me waiting and getting rejected by the final person. 14 mins later my number came up on the ticker and 2 mins later I was done. All in all, I was in and out in 21 mins, wow! However I did fill out all the documents in advance and read and re-read all the instructions just to be sure (completing a first time pp for my daughter). Service was courteous and helpful even in the early morning. PP was to be mailed to me by Jan 23 which is quicker than I had thought it would be. Only tip I would say is go early if you don't want to wait and keep an eye on the ticker. I was surfing on my phone and glancing at the ticker every so often, I saw my number pop up but I had thought it needed to start flashing before I could approach the counter however my number simply disappeared from the ticker altogether. So it is very possible that if you're not paying attention to the ticker, your number could show up and pass very quickly and you would not even know it. read more

Passport Canada - About 15-20 people in line at 7:59am on a Wed just before doors opened. Was in line 5 mins to get a number. - Legal Services Near Me - Hamilton, Ontario

Very positive experience at this location. Went on a Wednesday at 1:15 (just after lunch hour) and on a Thursday at 10:30 (apprehending the first wave to be done and over with) and my calculations paid off! On Wednesday I had 2 people in front of me and was called to the wicket in 10 mins. About 10 of the counters were open. I had to go on the second day because I forgot to get a document for my son and hence wasn't able to apply for his passport the day before. I was given a slip which would put me ahead in the line and I was called in 5 mins. On both days there was hardly a crowd. It was creepily empty on Thursday. The people there are nice and helpful. Photos attached. Wednesdays and Thursdays after 10:30 am and after 1:00 pm are the most relaxed. You may want to go then. read more

Passport Canada - Thursday 30th April at 10:30 AM - Legal Services Near Me - Hamilton, Ontario

Like everyone here, I was completely pleasantly surprised how efficient the whole experience was! Lined up to get a number, which was faster than most McD lines. The lady behind the counter was a beast... she worked two counters at once, jumping from side to side to verify that people have brought the appropriate documentation. Waited about 15 minutes to be called up. And the service person was amazingly friendly, asking where I was going to travel to and took a genuine interest as to what I was doing. Not sure I could be that friendly after a day of dealing with person after person after person. Now if my local driver licensing office could be this good too! read more

There you are, booking your next flight and you see the warning at the bottom of your airline's confirmation emails 'Verify your passport expiry date' and you think to yourself "yep, it's all good, don't need to check that." That's what I kept telling myself: "I've got this - I've been traveling for years!" And then BAM! It's 1:40pm on the Friday before my flight out to Europe on Sunday. I'm at home. And yes, I've just realized that my passport is about to expire and there's no way my airline's going to let me fly. I arrived at the Victoria Street passport canada office at 2:30, it took me a while to fill out the form, got a number and then ran downstairs to get my photos taken (there's a little convenience store right downstairs that does passport photos in less than 5 minutes.) Then I waited - I don't remember how long... that was all a blur. By 3:25pm I had submitted my application and paid (for the urgent service - you can do this if you can prove that you've got a flight booked.) I thought to myself: "This is it. I'm going to have rebook my flight." But no, the guy told me to go wait in the pick-up area around 4pm. And so there I was at 4pm in the pick-up area and lo and behold so was my new passport. I'm amazed at how efficient they were are getting my renewal processed so quickly. Also, the guy who helped me was really friendly and helpful. Awesome! read more

I went on a Thursday at 345pm (they close at 430pm). I waited 5 minutes at the line to get a number and after I got my number, it showed up immediately on the flashing board as there was no one ahead of me. They took my old passport and my two photos, my simplified renewal forms. The whole process took 11 minutes. I paid the fee by credit card...and Done!! It was wayyyyy tooo quick. Too simple if anything. It took me longer to find the place (its north of adelaid one street east of Yonge - the office is on the third floor). read more

It's not often I will say this, but this was a win for bureaucracies in Canada. The simplified passport renewal process took less than an hour to fill out the form, get the picture and submit the documents to the passport office. I went mid-morning on a weekday and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. It's on the third floor of an office building, but if you look through the glass doors from the street, you can see a big blue sign that says "Passport Office 3rd Floor." read more

Wow, surprisingly fast service. Showed up foolishly close to lunch time. I had everything ready (completed forms, passport photos, etc). Queued up for 5 mins just to take a number. An agent peruses your application and double-checks you have your photos and other requirements before handing you a number, thereby saving you the time of having to wait in line for no reason. After taking a number I had to wait about 20-25 minutes. Process was easy, breezy once I approached a counter agent. He quickly reviewed my application and I paid. Took 5 minutes. Current passport wait time is only 10 business days by mail if you go in person. Not bad! read more

Okay! Warning! Listen! If your passport expires get that shit fixed ASAP! Don't wait until you have a trip! Like me... My passport expired October 7th, and instead of going before or only shortly after, I went at the end of the month on the 28th. THE END OF THAT MONTH. I'm traveling November 12. You think that'd be enough time right? No. They were all "We'll send it to you Nov 12" and I was all "That is too late guy!" Even if you're all "Yo I'll pick that up so it will be faster" they're all "Nope, still the 12th, UNLESS YOU PAY US MORE MORE MORE MONEY" Needless to say I had to pay $30 extra so I can pick it up two days earlier. As for waiting? It was a quick 15 min wait! I read some of a book! read more

Taking the advice of many, today on the trip to the passport office I woke up early, got all my documents, my non-smiling photo, and was in lineup precisely at 7:45. There were already about 15 people ahead of me in the lineup at that point, and i thought *groan.. forget getting to work on time*. There was a lady who does a pre-check of applications, and hands everyone who had forms filled out a number. I gulped down my tea early as there are no drinks allowed once you are seated inside the office, as I found out from Kat F's review here. The rest of the process was fast and painless and I was in and out of there in 15 minutes tops! The lady who processed my application was super friendly. Since I need to travel in exactly 2 weeks from today, she told me I could pay $30 extra to pick up my passport the day before i travel, or $10 to pick it up the morning of, since they were mailing out passports that day anyways. So i saved a good $20. I was really surprised and happy that the service was exceptional and smooth, unlike a lot of other government services. I was at work, at my desk, half an hour early (I do work around the corner from the passport office though). read more

I was completely amazed by how efficient, friendly and fast this Passport Canada office is. I arrived at 8:30 and there was a small line up at the reception area. An employee checked my information and supporting documents, and gave me a ticket. From that point, I waited approximately 20 minutes before seeing my number on the board. The employee that dealt with me was extremely friendly and pleasant, and made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. My documents and application form were checked and I was on my way in under 30 minutes with a receipt for pick up in my hand. That's less than an hour in total from start to finish! As this was my first Canadian passport application, I really wasn't sure what to expect. To say that I was blown away with their excellent service is an understatement. 5 stars without a doubt! Tip: It seems that everyone tries to get there as soon as the office opens. I would suggest arriving a little later than 8:00, say 8:30 or so. That way the initial line has been cleared. read more

Arrived at the Passport office, checked in at 10:18 am and was ready to go at 11:03 am today. The waiting room was almost full when I arrived, but since it was a renewal and all required documentation was filled out before arrival, they gave me the fast lane (letter F). Unfortunately, they only mail to home and not work addresses. To pick up in person, there is an extra charge of $20. But pick up date is Oct 24, ahead of the scheduled mail out date (Oct 29). All major credit cards are accepted. read more

Came in at 9:10 on a Thursday morning and was out by 9:30. There was no line, and I had remembered to bring everything needed. I pre-filled the form, but apparently I made a few mistakes, which the clerk helped me correct on the spot. He even had Wite-Out. I needed the passport in a week, and he said that it will be ready then for me to pick up. All in all, a positive experience and a reflection of how efficient this office can be when circumstances are in their favor. read more

Hey ? Where are all the other REAL! THE BAD reviews ? --- the ones that did not go smoothly or fast ? Have they been taken down by the government elves ? My experience , was rather awful , back and forth , on behalf of my 94 year old mother !!!!!! . Meeting there with two supervisors of passport ofice and also their front, line staff. Supervisors that did not know their facts and sent me on a very ! unnecessary extra step! they told me , I needed then to go to another government office OHIP. As the passport two supervisors said my mother's OHIP card was not valid ? --- Off -- I go to another long line up at OHIP , and get to see a supervisor there . ----who gives me more paper work to prove to passport people that her OHIP card is, yes! -- 110 % valid! Wow ! --So unnecessary Yes! --. It could have been avoided . So now ! it was 3 hours from my day, many line ups , and yes they were nice people, BUT! -Hey! -- they didn't know their own rules and did not do their job accurately? For two passport supervisors to not know their own OHIP facts? OHIP is one of the ID 's acceptable. This clearly! So isnot a OK review ! 110 %Bad review for the passport office, and their supervisors and front line staff. BUT!!! Will this even stay up ? ---will it be removed ???? Are the elves reading it now and planning to remove It ?Fast! read more

FYI expresspost came today and so it's really around 9-10 business days that you can get it! Nice

Finally got around to getting my passport the other day... It's hard to review something like Passport Canada because the process of sitting around in a Goverment building waiting for them to call your number is never going to be an enjoyable experience. Got there on a Thursday at 3:30pm (an hour before they closed). I was B12 and the first B that came up was something like 6 or 7. They went pretty fast but it was about 20 minutes between B10 and my number. They have a sign that says "no cell phones" so I didn't know if I was allowed to play games on my phone or not. I just sat and stared at things... Not terribly exciting. Baby started crying which is always unbearable. I would say 30 minutes total waiting time. The fellow who helped me was courteous but also meant business. Once you get up to the counter and have all your shit together then the process takes mere minutes. I got a 48 hour rush on mine because I am going to Buffalo next week. Looking forward to finally picking up my passport and being done with this office. Simple renewals can apparently be done at Dufferin Mall. read more

I went early (8:15) and was done by (8:45). As long as you have all your papers in order and go early, you should be in and out like I was. I also picked up my passport at the same office once it was renewed. Again I went around the same time to avoid any lineups but I don't think that was necessary since there was no lineup at all an it took me less than 3 minutes to complete the transaction. Great service, very organized. read more

That was about as smooth as I suspected, but still took the better part of an hour on the initial visit. Arrived on a Tuesday around 8:10am with my photos, forms, id, etc all in hand. After receiving a number I waited around 50 minutes, confirmed some stuff with a person at a wicket, paid, and went on my way. Picking up the passport a week later was a breeze. They have a seperate area just for pickups where the process is just confirming identity, sign the passport, and walk out. Probably only took about 5 minutes from the time of entering the elevator. So yeah... It's a pretty easy process, but you might want to bring some reading material for the initial visit. read more

My passport expired....exactly one year ago and I needed it renewed ASAP. My dad and I wanted to get there right at 8am, so we can get it done and over with early in the morning. We just got there 10 mins after opening and already there was a massive line. And that's only for screening. Basically at the screening, the person looks over your application to see if you got all the important parts signed and he checks if you have the two valid ids....and then you get a magically white slip of paper with a waiting number. You sit in the waiting area....and sit....and sit.....and sit....and sit.....50 minutes later, I get called! YES! The process was overall fast if you got everything signed and properly done. Go early in the morning and line up before the doors even open...you'll be proud and laughing at the crowd at the waiting room since you were in and out in 10 mins. P.S I was jealous of those who were earlier than me....haha. read more

Actual Service Date: Friday, November 27th, 2015 Received Passport: Monday, December 7th, 2015 Paid for Service: General 10 day processing, $120 WOW is all I have to say. The process was very simple. Showed up as they opened, and was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Super, super easy. Lady at the desk was super friendly, helpful, and made me feel very at ease, even though it was my first time applying for a passport. I received my passport with an issue date of 11/30/2015 (Which means they processed and issued my passport in 1 business day.) WOW. I am blown away, they are amazing. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. Amazing, amazing, amazing. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Passport Canada today. I have a nightmarish memory of waiting in a 4 hour lineup of coughing people with a passportless friend just before winter break a few years ago. Today I woke up late, took my time filling out and printing the Simplified Renewal Form and strolled to my local photo place for some slightly better than mediocre pp photos. By the time I made it to 74 Victoria St it was almost 3pm. Yeah, that's right 1.5hrs before close. I brought my current passport, which expires at the end of the month, my driver's license, the two photos and my completed forms. The office is on the 3rd floor and there was a line of 8 people to get a number that took about 10mins. Technically, I did not qualify for the Simplified Renewal Form because I had a Replacement Passport that was only valid for 3 years. I had this pp because Passport Canada originally issued my last passport with the wrong birthdate. They only have one job: to verify the information is accurate and print it and they failed. That time I had to make a second trip to PC just to tell them to fix their fuck up. They then fixed it by giving me a 'Replacement Passport' for people who've had it lost or stolen which is only good for 3 years and not the usual 5. I, of course, paid the same price as a 5 year pp but got screwed out of 2 and my time because of their error. Needless to say I walked in there ready to give anyone who hassled me over this a pantload but was super surprised when the number assigning guy quickly verified with his boss that it was ok for me to go ahead with the Simplified Renewal Form since my non-conforming pp was entirely their fault. I waited about 15mins after that to see an agent and was quickly processed. I can pick up my new passport in 8 days. Moral: Whole thing took less than 30mins. Total damage: $117 (inc. $30 for speedy processing) Bonus: no one coughed on me. read more

So I have to travel for biz, and I let my passport lapse a few years ago - ekkk I never do that. So before I could fly to our US office, I was off to Passport Canada for them to hook a sister up. I went on a Monday - and tried to be there for 8am when they open, well I arrived at 8:09 and there was already a line. Not a bad line, but a line! I have to say - I was very impressed at how organized and fast they were in processing all the people there. It was MUCH better then the one in Mississauga where I got my original passport - that location had a line out the door and it was FEBRUARY. As with any government service, you need to take a number and go through many steps, but this process was quick and was a very well oiled machine. The first person I encountered was the document checker - to ensure that I brought everything I needed. From there you are given a number and sent to wait. The waiting room is very drab, but I would rather have that then think that my $87 passport fee was going to improve the decor of the waiting area. This office is complete with a security guard - a 65 year old little lady, but she is still a presence and helps move the process along by calling out the flashing numbers of slow people. The gentleman that processed my documents was very friendly and very quick. We even had a few jokes - not what I was expecting for a passport office. Getting there at 8:09am - I looked at my phone, mainly because I still couldn't believe the line - I was in and out and back to my office (Church and Bloor and yes I walked) by 9:30am. Not bad I think! Positives: *Open early *Building accommodates a long line - no outside waiting *Efficient number system *Interact Payment *Clear information as to what you need *A variety of passport services Cons: *Decor *The odd crabby and out right rude employee (I didn't have this) *No use of cell phones - even in the waiting room *Cost of passport *Wait time to get your passport - 2 to 3 weeks inc delivery *only passport office in the city other then canada post Over all I would say that this was a great experience. read more

So, I went here thinking that it was going to be a headache and a long wait. For interest, I went there on a Tuesday at 10:30am. I got through the elevator and accidentally turned the wrong way for a second, which gave the lady who rushed the elevator on the way up a chance to sneak ahead of me. Luckily, this was the worst part of my trip. There were only 2 people ahead of me to get a ticket, and the woman there processed me quickly. I then waited 25 minutes exactly to get to a window (there were about 3 or 4 windows occupied by seemingly unintelligent people, arguing about how they didn't have the required ID, even though it clearly tells you what to bring on the forms). Once at the window I got a quiet but pleasant gentleman, who after a bit of chatting was a nice guy. He did the whole process in 5-10 minutes, reminded me that I could get a 48 page passport for only $5 more, and sent me on my way. All in all, a very good experience! I'm not sure what this place would be like at a rush time, and as I left (11:10am) there was a line of about 10 people to get a ticket. Still, good staff and not a terrible wait. My guess is that 9:30-10:30am and 2-3pm are good times to go. read more

I strolled in 74 Victoria with my documents all filled and id ready at precisely 12:03 PM. I made note of the couple ahead of me because they were speaking french and they butted in front of me ..how rude! The guy went over my documents and id to make sure i wasn't wasting my time and asked me to correct a couple things and come back. In two minutes i was back and told him I was here to get an expedited passport and my last passport was stolen. He handed me the doomed number of D522 the number of passport death. It seems that when you are lucky enough to have had your passport stolen, they make you wait a little while longer than the rest of the peeps who are there only to renew etc. I watched people come and go and was getting frustrated, not by the wait mind you because i had not even been there an hour (I expected a couple) but because people who came in behind me were on their way already and I was still sitting there. I decided to take a deep breath and relax. 55 minutes later, I was standing in front of a very friendly charming gentleman who was so easy to talk to and I actually found myself smiling and laughing. All in all, I was there a total of 63 minutes on a Thursday morning. For $50 extra I am able to pick up my passport the following Monday. Those of you who are complaining about the extra fee, that's so us knuckleheads who can't seem to get organized can also take last minute trips etc. It costs extra, suck it up. I am quite happy with the experience, in fact pleasantly surprised. read more

I've gotta say that my experience with this passport office was actually a relief. I went at about 900 on a cold, very rainy November morning (sing it, Axl) and was in and out in 18 minutes (yes, I actually timed that). I had my form completed before I went in, but had to change something at the window (who knew you can't use your bf as a reference? It's not in the written rules, but it's true); the fellow serving me corrected me politely and waited patiently for me to make the change. As good an experience as I could hope for at a bleak, chair filled government office. read more

I must say that I'm fairly shocked to see all the positive reviews for this Passport Canada location as I pretty much assumed that everyone has nothing but negative things to say about, well, pretty much any government service. But if I'm to chime in, I had no complaints whatsoever and will definitely go here again...in five years. Part of the reason I went here was to avoid the hassle of having to take any time off from work, so I thought that if I get in right when they open at 8:00 AM, I should be in and out, right? Well, not quite. Seems as though I wasn't the only one with that bright idea and when I got there at 8:02, there was already quite the lineup at the check-in or whatever you want to call it. But it moved pretty quickly, I got my number, was out of there by about 8:35 and made it to work with time to spare. So I guess it's a decent enough place. The guy who gave me my number also ended up being the guy I saw to get my passport (I guess they switch tasks frequently to break up the monotony) and he was helpful and as friendly as you could ever hope a government employee to be at 8:00 in the morning. He even let me jump the line when I was on my way out to ask a stupid question that I had forgotten to ask him initially. So keep up the good work, Service Canada? I guess? Seriously though, there has to be a better way to do all of this. Oh well. Until they get super-intelligent robots to work for free and man kiosks at every major intersection, I guess we're stuck with the limited number of human run locations. It could be much worse and that's not even factoring the good chance that the robots will eventually go berserk. read more

I, unlike the others, did not have a good experience here. I went and came back to this place three times in one day because I kept getting wrong information. For example, they insisted that I had to change my name on my driver's license and health card so it would match the birth certificate and it turned out that it wasn't true (after I went to change it!), Secondly they called my number and I went to the kiosk and they said it was too late. Two of the four attendants were nice, though. read more

In & out in 20 minutes. Friendly, happy sevice agent. A government office that's a pleasure to deal with.

Fast and efficient experience overall, but just a reminder to all of you to avoid or hope not to get this specific employee guy with shoulder-lengthed grey hair at the passport pickup office, extremely disrespectful, very loud, bossy and judgemental. This guy deserve to be fired. The office messed up the timing of one of my orders, both I and the passport office had some faults, but ultimately it was the office that was late to handle my documents, making me having to cancel a flight. I wasn't mad but just told them to be careful in the future, however this guy was obnoxious and blamed everything on the customer, took no responsibility of the obvious, and everytime I try to point out the problem he would try to avoid it. I know I am not the only one, this guy is not doing his job right or even at all, avoid this grey-haired guy for a positive experience here. read more

I am in Toronto from Boston and needed to get my Passport renewed on an urget basis before I head Hone two days from now. Came here yesterday around 9:00am very quick service we were in and out within 1/2 hour. I definitely thought I'd be waiting hours!

I went to the Passport office on Tuesday August 19th and I was a little confused about where the applications were and what exactly was required. Once I waited in line as was told to fill out the application first I went back in line got to the front only to realize my passport pictures were too small. At the time I was pretty upset but non the less that was my fault and would have to return once I got the correct photos done. I went back today August 20th. The guy in the line seemed to remembered me and was pretty kind, he gave me a number and I was off to the waiting area. After 15-20 minutes I was at the cue handing in my documents. They say it will take about 2 weeks to receive my new Passport. Service was pretty friendly and the time was pretty quick. So other than the fault of my own, this was not too bad an experience! Give yourself some time in case of line ups and review the check list before going in, if possible have your application complete and the ordeal should be pretty breezy!! Enjoy read more

Firstly, I went to this location on a Thursday morning for a passport renewal around 9:30, after reading reviews on here that said there's a line if you get there early. They checked my passport photos and form before I got my number. The line at the door was short and I was seated by 9:35. It was very full, there were not enough chairs for everyone in the room. I waited until 10:30 before my number was called, and just as I was about to pay (my card was in the machine) the woman told me I was actually 15 at the time of my last passport and I didn't qualify for the renewal, I had to go get a full 3 page application. Granted, it was my fault for not realizing that if you counted the years I'd be 16, but it didn't click that my first passport was issued in April 2010, when I turned 16 in December of 2010. I walked out by about 10:45, I just wish that they'd checked the dates and told me this when they looked over the forms BEFORE I waited for over an hour. Nevertheless, I went and filled out the 3 page application and was back there this morning (Monday). I arrived with my callback slip in hand (if, like me, you went there and for some reason were rejected they give you a slip which lets you go into a faster "B" lineup). I knew they opened at 8, so this time I arrived at 7:13. There were about 8 people in front of me, and by 7:40 there was a good 20-25 people in line. They let us into the building shortly before 8 (yes, you wait outside until then, so please if you're going early dress appropriately, learn from all of my mistakes here), and we walked peacefully up the stairs so that the line didn't get jumbled by using the elevators. I was about 8 people back in line, and as we waited for the doors to the office to open, the security guard asked if anyone had a call-back slip. I got to skip to the front of the line and was the first one to get a number (THANK GOODNESS). Out by 8:07 and on my merry way. I preferred waiting in the cold for 45 minutes but knowing I'd get out of there ASAP than waiting in the room like my first visit, staring blankly at the numbers until your eyes go funny (***if you miss your number, you have to go get a new one, and the time the number flashes is very brief if you're not paying attention***) I'd give 1-2 stars for my first visit but 4-5 for my second, which averages out to 3-ish. Like is written many times on here, service moves quickly and for the amount of people that come, but if you're trying to get everything done before work, come at a ridiculous time like 7:13 and you'll be out of there in no time. As I left at 8:07 today, the line up was still out the door but many booths were open and servicing people. I was definitely the first one out of there though. It's even faster if you just have the simplified renewal as opposed to the full 3 page application. Triple check that you have all of your documents signed and ready to go and your life will be easier. Happy passport-ing! :) read more

I went to this passport office on Tuesday, March 29 and we arrived before 10:00 AM, It's lined up and the office was full. The commissionaire security guard, black male bet 55-60, was so rude, he told us that the waiting line was about hour or so, I told him we don't mind waiting but he responded by saying just get a number and come back tomorrow. I cannot do that I booked off work and I don't want to waste my time. Finally, the security send us to one of the agent, he's white, long grey hair, medium built, and even worst, he is very rude, no people skills at all, there's "hate" in the way he talk, English is not our first language so he should anticipate that we're a bit slow in responding. Anyways he did not give us a number. We left. The passport office should hire people with good manners, good customer service and with lots of patience. I understand that it was busy but it's not right to be disrespectful with others, That person should be fired. read more

As positive an experience as one could hope for in a bureaucratic interaction. Very efficient, and everyone was extremely pleasant. Was able to renew my passport on an emergency basis in 7 hours. Two tips for anyone doing an"urgent" renewal: make sure you have proof of immediate travel plans with you, and list references who you're sure will be available on the day you are trying to get your passport. They really do check up with them, and if they aren't reachable it will hold up the whole process. read more
