Led by Erum Amin, a licensed paralegal and notary public, they provided seamless assistance with commissioning affidavits and certified true copies. Wanted to take the time to leave an unbiased review (outcome and decision at LTB are still pending)…read moreon Mr. Shmuir. GREAT REPRESENTATION! -he is efficient with his time -the man knows his sh*t when it comes to the law and gets straight to the point (time management again) -great with explaining the options available to you -will clarify and explain the judicial process for you should you have any questions regarding your case and upcoming hearing dates -well prepared on the case you have tasked him with -great sense of "reading the room" and sticks to the point and the law as it would relate to you and your particular situation/circumstances I had minimal "talk time" and correspondence with Mr. Shmuir for my particular case (LTB) approx 14 months from when I first retained him to when we attended my hearing date,(your situation may be more complex and require more correspondence or calls, and that's okay!) Rest assured though, once you hire him, he's got you covered. He is well organized and after that 14 month waiting period for my hearing date, he showed up well prepared and I had no need to remind him of my desired remedies, he knew and remembered exactly what I wanted. I sent out a few emails inquiring on updates over those 14 months and Mr. Shmuir was quick to respond to, always professional, understanding and kind in those responses. I highly recommend Kurt Shmuir, if you're looking for proper representation and a fair and reasonable fee in today's economy, do yourself a favour and give Mr. Shmuir a call. He did his job and he did it well. .....and now we wait on a decision from the adjudicator, regardless of the outcome I'm happy and satisfied with Kurt's expertise, professionalism and presentation of the facts and my evidence. Thank you Kurt!

Most Convenient Transaction Ever !! We were dealing with…read morelawyer Shaffiq Dar from this firm regarding closing in selling of our house. Our real estate agent referred us to him. What a thorough professional, polite and willing to help. We met him just twice and rest everything was done over the phone. But throughout the process he was in constant contact and was always available to assist with any queries we had. I made calls to the utility companies to confirm cancellation of accounts, but he had already taken care of everything beforehand itself !! He explained all details including property taxes, Revenue Canada, taxation from Selling and all such information completely to our satisfaction. It wasn't his responsibility but he went over and beyond in doing so. We hardly met the new owners once and all transfer of keys and other documents were done through the lawyer, nothing to be stressed about, All was taken care of !! Honestly speaking I have never felt more relived and at ease other than this transaction in our entire home buying and selling process. All Thanks to Shaffiq Dar from this firm !! Would highly recommend it to one and all !!
