They're a unisex spot that Braids, does line ups, retwists locs, silk press you name it there's a stylist that does it. I had Brielle and she was amazing. The place was busy but friendly and professional. They serviced old and young. Masks are required and if you don't have one you can purchase one from them. I got a wash, trim and a silk press. My hair came out so soft and bouncy. The atmosphere was very cool and welcoming. Wish we had time i would've loved to hang out with them longer!!

Let me just say, choosing Alexis as my braider was the easiest decision I made in a while. I found her on Instagram and LOVED her work. I read nothing but great reviews. Let's be real, I saw the pictures of her work and was ready to book immediately. Lol I reached out to her prior to my appointment, I wanted to make sure I had the correct braiding hair and products to bring. She responded in good timing. The day of my appointment was 4/20/19. She messaged me to ask if she could push my appointment back and I agreed to it. I was just happy that she communicated her availability with me. I walked in the shop and there were so many other talented hairstylists and barbers. They all spoke when I entered. Which made me feel more welcomed (this was my first time there) We got started on my hair at a later time but she worked FAST. I was in and out of the chair in about one hour. I'll be back soon. My ONLY problem is picking my next hairstyle. Alexis Clark is bomb.

Shaunda, the salon owner, offered to give me a free conditioning treatment that would help my hair recover some of it's curl pattern and she also offered to reimburse me the $120 that Keisha was supposed to refund me. She said Keisha was out of town. Ms Shaunda was very kind and very generous and I truly appreciated her understanding with this matter. I took her up on both offers and went to her on 8/31 to get the conditioning treatment and hair misting service and it was very nice. My curl pattern was more evident, although I still had evidence of heat damage especially in the back but, nonetheless, Ms. Shaunda is a true professional and clearly knows about natural hair. Thank you again!

My visit today was a silk press and color. I arrived really early for my noon appointment so Shaunda , the owner wasn't there but I was taken in and was given a hair wash. Fast forward to 12:30, 30 minutes past my appointment time Shaunda comes in doesn't introduce herself or apologize for being late. I ask, did you have me in the books? Now this is only because the receptionist was on the phone with her earlier and asked me what my name was. Shaunda said yes but then said she went to get lunch. Fine. But still didn't apologize for being late. Now we're into the appointment at 3:00pm and another client comes in (yes I'm still there) and her staff introduces themselves including Shaunda! I'm more disappointed in this experience than pissed off although the whole time I was biting my tongue because I was mad with her "service." I was there for over 3 hours and the best customer service was the owners staff. People show you who they are so believe it.

The braiding salon is very spiritually vibed with Christian worship played on the tv. Its clean and very inviting. Arlette is very creative and can free style a hair style or provide with a pictured style as shown. She has braided my hair on many occasions for the last 2 years. And this time was not any different than others. I of course came in with a vision without a picture. I wanted my hair small/medium spaced out feedins into a slight mohawk more towards the back to be able to place in a ponytail if desired. With my edges being thin and fragile I also requested for the braids to start a certain pattern/way. Of course Arlette took the vision and executed with ease. I left the chair with smiles. Also if the braids are too tight dont wait until its all done let her know as she is braiding so that they can be adjusted. She is a very easy going and customer service driven Christian styler. You will not be disappointed.
