It's nice that it's free admission but I implore you to donate what you can to help keep these exhibits open. I attended the common senses festival last year and it was so beautiful to see how they were accommodating folks to see these interactive exhibits. The staff is really friendly, and chatty and can share a lot more anecdotes to some of the displays. Looking forward to checking out the next exhibit there.

I appreciated their white walls, which accentuated the displayed works. Each piece is identified, and their artist's social links and contact are also seen. I followed a number of artists as a result. The gallery's entry has a very cool piece that wows visitors. They also support locals with information about nearby events and features their artists.

Even then it attracted artists, performers, vendors, etc. locally, and from most of the surrounding states, and a few beyond. . It has been truly a culturally enriching experience. . I am saddened to learn that 2024 is its last year. It will be missed.

At points in my life I have collected comic books, other comic book related items, movie related merchandise, and diecast. This place has all that and more...! Shop smart and take your cell phone to stare and compare. I found a few items reasonably priced, but I found quite a few more that were well above what they could be purchased for online including shipping. One thing about collectibles though... Sometimes it's worth a few dollars more to have it in your hands. I've been surprised a few times when I received items that weren't as described or packaging was damaged in transit. Antiques and collectibles are a different market as a buyer... If you see something you want it's better to buy it right then if it's priced within reason. You may never find that same item again... Old Market is what Old Market is... It's geared to tourists and things are often a little high priced in areas like this. So is their rent usually... These areas attract a high volume of people and if you don't want to pay the marked price...someone who comes in right behind you just might. Some of the items here are a little dusty, but I guess that's to be expected with that many surfaces. Pretty hard to stay on top of all of it... The Imaginarium Old Market Mercantile is defintely worth the stop if you are into collectibles and/or nostalgia!

The main challenge is the layout of the studio. It's pretty tight, with a lot of tables in a limited space. Since you're frequently getting up to grab glazes and tools, it can feel a bit crowded navigating around...especially if the studio is busy. Overall still a fun experience, but the cramped setup takes away just a little from what would otherwise be a really relaxing activity.
