Hot chocolate!!!
Clifton D.

Found Pascals tucked away among the stores in a shopping center in Galway. You have to look around carefully because Yelp does not have the location quite right. Really nice place with great service with a smile! We got hot chocolate and an iced vanilla latte and both were top notch.

Great vegetable and herb soup of the day with a nice mocha on the side. Highly recommend it in downtown Galway and need a pick me up.

Lemon curd and blueberry pancakes. Yum!

Oh my goodness! What a perfect breakfast spot in Galway, right around the corner from our Airbnb. We all had different pancake dishes and were they ever delicious! I had the lemon curd and blueberry pancakes with a healthy garnish of whipped cream. They were absolutely fabulous. Their espresso drinks were also on point. Top it off with friendly Irish service and you've got yourself a winner here at Pascal. Also really nice to have free wi-fi for us intrepid travelers. Wish I had something like this close to home!

Love this infographic type coffee menu.

After a disappointing visit the previous week to Yelps No 1 eating house in Galway, I was reluctant to see what else it was bigging up for me to try. However I spotted Pascals and a Yelp Elite member had written a glowing review and his is an opinion I trust. And I'm glad I did because Pascals is a great find. I sat down and perused their menu, two menus actually. They had a nifty infographic style coffee menu too. I liked it a lot. I ordered a bacon and cheese toasted croissant with some relish on the side. It was perfect, as I wasn't looking for a big plate of food. The coffee was nice too, an americano with a lovely creme on top. The staff where very friendly and nice. The decor grand. The facilities were very clean too. The WiFi was a cool bonus, as the mobile reception complete dropped off when inside here. Definitely recommended. I was kinda sorry I didn't have a bigger appetite, as the pancakes looked fricken amazing. I will be back.

I would recommend Pascals to anyone who is looking for a catch up with a friend over coffee or lunch as the seating area here is really nice and spacious. It's in a great location just off of shop street - but is in a quiet area which takes you away from the feeling that you are in a busy town. Because of this atmosphere this is one of the main places in Galway I enjoy eating here on my own for a quick lunch. Everything is also reasonably priced; in the receipt I have attached you can see a soup is €5 and a cappuccino is €3 which is alright value for great quality food. I particularly enjoyed this experience as the girl who served me couldn't have been any nicer! She was so welcoming and warm and made me feel like a really valued customer - thank you Jiyoon. There is a great selection on their menu and I have yet to try much more from them.

First time in Galway. Such a yummy little find! Coffee was so fresh that the espresso did not need sugar. The young ladies that work there are sweet and friendly. Eggs, sausage and sour dough toast were prepared fresh and served in 10 minutes.

Best coffee Ive had in Ireland! The baguette with Bacon, sausage, rocket leaves and relish was also excellent and the staff was fantastic. I asked for cream for my Americano which seems odd in Ireland. They brought me both whipped cream and a side of creamer. It's a little hard to find. If youjust enter Williams Street (pedestrian only) pass the Oscar Wilde statue hang a left and then another quick left before the big store entrance. It's worth searching for.

Was a bit strange to not be able to carry out, but we wound up staying to eat anyway. I had the sweet potato fries and the bruschetta, both of which were fantastic. The bruschetta was amazing and the gluten free bread was probably the best of its kind I've ever had.

Ard Bia at Nimmos - Tomato focaccia, brown bread with fennel/thyme/maple butter

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

It reminds me of a country home by the water. The service was friendly and young. I got the plum salad, fallow deer, and roasted peach/caramel ice cream. The salad was spectacularly tasteful and fresh. I felt like the deer was a little too salty for my taste, but presentation was good. I was disappointed by the dessert. My ice cream was partially melted and the peaches were cold. I would give the environment/ambiance 5/5, service 5/5 and food 3.5/5. Overall 4/5.
