DISHONEST: Was quoted for a 6-7 ft tree: $95. About 5 mins later was quoted $135 for a 6-7 ft tree right next to it. I told him earlier that he quoted me $95. His answer was, "Oh, it's because this one includes tax." $40 bucks tax? I don't think so buddy. Went orchard and got the same sized and quality tree for about $50. read more

I was greeted as soon as i walked onto the lot, by a friendly gal named Jackie. She allowed me to browse until i had a question about the pricing of the trees. She answered my question and she then showed me something she called the sap sent trick, to release the smell of each trees and taught me so much i dint know, that is good knowledge to have when shopping for real fresh trees. she was funny and informative. the selection of trees was awesome. the lot was clean and well organized despite how busy they were. when i finally chose a great tree, Jackie called for a "tip boy", she sent our tree with a fast young man, to be serviced while she escorted us up to pay Melissa the fair price that we agreed upon. By the time we were done paying for our tree and wreath, our "tip boy" was waiting with our tree to take it to our car, where he quickly tied the tree to our roof very securely. I will always buy my trees from this lot. read more

Our tree was beautiful for a few days then we realized it wasn't drinking the water in the base. We bought our tree a week and a half ago and it's crispy and smells like a dead tree already. My husband and I realized that after we bought the tree they didn't re-cut the trunk and just left it as-is and put it on our truck. We even paid a premium for the larger base. It's like they were rushing us out of there. Now $200 later we have a dead Christmas tree before Christmas. We will NEVER buy a tree from them again. read more

Wow another year gone by which means time for tree shopping. I picked out the perfect tree and had it flocked. They told me it would take 24hours to dry and to pick it up the next evening. The next evening it was raining yet they were still open and had enough workers to tie the tree to the roof of my car hood. They were finished in 15 minutes flat. It's no easy feat to tie a huge Christmas tree. I'm so happy with the tree it's so fresh , the flocking snow looks real and best of all my entire apartment smells like a noble fir. This was the worst Christmas Tree buying experience I have ever had. Do not buy from this lot or at minimum do not buy from Danny! I am going back to Santa and Mikey's on Madre across the street from Bed Bath and Beyond as the understand customer service! The Salesman Danny - was a hard sell and the price kept getting higher - even when I went to the cashier - he actually raised it an additional $5.00 saying "he mis-added." I should have walked as not only was he trying to scam me - but he was offensive, he kept saying sexist comments iike "trust me" my third wife did. Or now you are sounding like my sixth wife. Seriously the most unpleasant experience I have ever had doing something that should be a joy. Then to add insult to the process, the tree was not delivered as promised. I bought the tree, contingent upon the tree being set up and in a stand, and told Danny that I could only buy it if I could get delivery first thing in the morning. I specifically told him I was unavailable for delivery that evening as I had other obligations that evening. I told him I could take delivery as early as 7:00 a.m. Danny told me they started delivery at 9:00 and promised me repeatedly that I would get the tree at 9:00 a.m. - again telling me repeatedly to trust him. Delivery: That night as I was on the road headed towards Long Beach, the delivery guy called and said he was coming to my house for delivery - I explained that Danny had promised me delivery at 9:00 a.m. and that no one would be home to take the tree. The next morning, when the tree was not at my house by 9:45, I called the delivery guy who, originally told me he would be at my house in 15-20 minutes, and when I finally pinned him down he told me he was in the process of delivering a tree in Northridge - which meant he wouldn't even be back to Pasadena by 11:00. I called Danny and told him I did not want the tree any longer and that I was coming down there to get my money back. When I tried to get my money back, Danny and a man who said he was the owner started arguing with me about what they had promised and then threatened to call the Sheriff's on me. I did finally get my money back, but they ruined this years Christmas buying experience. I usually go to Santa and Mike's but didn't like their trees this year. SANTA AND MIKEYS have always been super courteous and amazingly service oriented. I am going back there right now - as they do what they promise. read more

So many friendly workers have helped us figure out exactly what tree we want. Thyey taught us how to tell between trees, and hiw to get the best scent out of our tree. They worked with our price range, and allowed us to recycle our stand from year to year without added cost for new stands. Good service, nice quality tree and they offer flocking but it has to sit for 24 hours after so that means either an additional trip for pick up or paying for them to deliver. All in all we have a LOVELY lightly flocked tree just like with wanted thanks to them. I found their prices to be a littler higher than others in the area but they were one of very few who offered the flocked trees. read more

Had the same problem as the previous reviewer re: this place not honoring the voucher (I purchased it before he left his review). I contacted Yelp to try to get a refund, but it looks like I may be SOL. I see there is also one review that is not recommended where the commenter (I guess the owner--his username matches the name listed on their website) says the deal is from last year and he couldn't recover his email/password to delete it? Get your act together, genius! The workers at the lot seemed genuinely confused about why people kept bringing in the vouchers and even called the cops to report it as a scam--not sure what the local police are going to do--so I think this is a problem w/ management. We got our tree at Santa and Mikey's last year, and I wish we'd done the same this year. Merry Christmas. *sigh* read more

Worse place I ever been, me and my kids went to buy a 3-4ft tree, this guy came greet us and I asked him the price of the tree we liked,he said $50.00. I told him will take it, but the the tree I choose did not had plastic bucket attached like other trees which were on display with same price, so I asked him will you please have plastic bucket on this tree, he said sure and after 20 minutes he comes with the tree and tells me here is your tree and its now $ 65.00. I told him surprisingly before 20 minutes it was $50.00 and now $65.00? He said, "yes mam" at that point I decided not to buy the tree cause I felt they are dishonest, so I told him sorry I will not buy with that price and his response was, " you just waited our time". My kids and I was so shocked the way he responded to us and i just left. Be aware of them they are very dishonest and greedy people. read more

Pushy sales people with overpriced trees. They kept telling us one price at the beginning and then the price kept going up. When we didn't need delivery or a tree stand they didn't do any trimming for us and basically quickly moved to the next higher paying customer. Bring cash if you decide to buy here and negotiate your price. read more
