With that said, the CAT system at UND is a really good bus system! I will say that I have never used any bus prior to this, so my experience may be skewed, but I have found that they were always on time (plus or minus one minute) in the semester that I've used them so far. I would also like to note that the older lady who drives the UND Blue Route is extremely sweet. She always greets everyone with a smile and a warm "hello!" and wishes everyone a great day when they leave, which I can really appreciate. It always makes my day a little better. Shoutout to her (she's still there as of the 2023 Spring Semester!) Also, the buses are reasonably clean too, considering that it's winter in North Dakota and everyone easily tracks in dirt, snow, gravel, and salt. So overall, I highly recommend this bus system, at least the one at UND. I cannot speak for the other buses that go around the city.

There is a paved trail along the river if you need to go blow off some stink. This area was a housing development. After the flood, everything was torn down and rebuilt to a State Park. What is so cool about this place is that it is within walking distance of some restaurants, movie theater, Cabela's, a place to get your hair cut, lots of things. If you don't tow a car and find yourself in this area, try to stay two nights just to "do the town." You are close to a bridge where you can walk to the North Dakota side. The "hookup" sites are pull-through but the sites are arranged parallel along the driving road so that someone may be in front or behind, but nobody is directly beside you. You get a lot of acreage with your site. Restrooms were clean. I had to pay $35 ($30 camping, $5 car fee) for full hookup. If you have the Minnesota Annual Pass, you don't pay the car fee. You pay the car fee even if you aren't towing a car, but they don't charge extra for a towed car. Little pricey for a state park, but cheaper than a hotel! TV reception via JACK antenna was difficult. It seemed that you got the most channels when you turned it the direction of the least blue reception lights. You get CBS, NBC, ABC, ME-TV, CW, and some good Prairie Public PBS stations. I'm surprised I couldn't get a FOX station. The park does not have Wi-Fi. I detected a "city Wi-FI" but was unable to use it from my site. The only thing I DIDN'T like was weasling my RV down DeMers avenue to get to this park. That is a busy street!

He went on and on about how the guy before never parked in a power spot and how self contained it was. So I fell for it. first weekend out solar was all haywire fridge didn't work grey water tank was cracked black tank leaked both sewer valve cables broken batteries shot pretty much a complete disaster. Cole said bring it back in a week and we will fix it. So I did and apparently no one told the shop because the poor mechanic that seems woefully overwhelmed was mad at me for being there. any how I come back another week later and nothing is fixed in fact it was worse. So im not sure if this is the norm with this place or not but i will never be back to find out. The mechanic installed all the solar by the way and admitted he had no clue what he had installed. Super frustrating

They…read morediagnosed the major issue, quickly, but because I was not able to stay in Minnesota for longer, I could not have them do the repair. Instead, they were kind enough to write up some notes, so I can have an RV dealer at my home order the part and do the repair. For the minor issue, they were able to fix a speaker on my MagnaDyne system that quit working. It was an easy fix for them. Total paid for both issues was $100, pretty reasonable for the work they did and I was out of there at 9:30 and on my way. They are a couple miles from the Red River SRA in East Grand Forks, so they are convenient to folks camping at the SRA. They open at 8:00 and they will even start work on your RV at 8:00. My experience has been that "open at 8:00" means the front desk is there, but the techs don't arrive until later. This dealer told me that although they are open on Saturday, they don't normally do RV repairs on Saturday. However, if it's an emergency, they can call someone in for Saturday work, but you will pay extra for it. They have a good supply of RV parts and accessories. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have a customer "lounge" area. So, while you are waiting for your RV, you are forced to amuse yourself by wandering through the RV parts, or looking at the RV's on the lot. Or maybe that's their "marketing" strategy...... (evil grin!).

Clean. Exchange small but nice. Mini--mart fuel 24/7. Commisary small but just fine. All hands club JR Rockets next to #117. Nice and caters to the younger set. All together a sleepy understated and pleasant base.
