Once arriving the room was still 55 degrees. Room 234. I brought this to the front desk attention and he gave us a replacement room (233). He wanted us to pack everything up and bring back to the desk to get new room keys. Very inconvenient, I suggested he book us out of 234, give us room keys for 233 and come with us to retrieve our items to shift to the room right next to it. That worked. Once in room 233 the 3rd observation was the sink would not drain, the plug was activated and luckily I was able to reach under the sink to open the plug for sink to drain. 4th observation the carpet, discusting, stains everywhere. Hotel can rent a rug shampooer from the mall next door to it to clean these stains properly. 5th observation there was extremely poor water pressure which made showering take 3 times as long. 6th observation was the beds were hard, felt like I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood. 7th observation was towels in pool area were not stocked for beginning of day we had to go to the front desk to get towels. 8th observation during breakfast all garbage were overflowing and I had to mention to staff that we couldn't discard our trash as there was no more room in all 3 garbage. 9th observation if you would like a quiet stay it likely will not happen as rooms were by the pool and by 8am we woke to kids screaming and playing in the pool. With all this said I potentially would stay again if the price was right. I personaly would not pay more than $60 usd per night as that's what I would value the stay at. There is plenty of room for improvement, some preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, keeping up on regular cleanliness, and making sure the customers don't need to ask for towels or to throw items in the garbage.

It saves you the bother of driving to the parking deck and hauling your suitcases across the road. The valet and front desk gentlemen were nicely, retired and very polished for their young age. Kudos to management for providing an upscale environment during check-in. We were on the fifth floor. Each floor has an outdoor seating area just off the elevators, which was nice. The room itself was pleasant and had a large bathroom with good amenities. We stayed here since we were planning to go to Harry's steakhouse, a couple blocks away for dinner. I would recommend this establishment and look forward to staying there again

There is a sky walk from the parking garage that takes you to the hotel from the second floor. The reception desk is often empty at night time. There is the Skies restaurant on the second floor. There is Sweetwaters on the ground floor in the hotel, how nice and convenient is that. Hugo Pure Market is less than two blocks away off Demers and 5th street and has parking in the back or is any easy walk. The lobby area has a lot of variety of seating area, although it was mostly empty whenever we walked by. Our first floor room was handicap accessible, huge bathroom. The bed on one side had fallen below the frame. We're moved to an end room on the same floor. The traffic outside can be quite loud, makes me feel like we are in NYC. The end room wasn't as wide or as open as the other room, but it works. The one thing is having to close all of the drapes to get full black out since much of the room are windows. Decent place to stay downtown here

There is a small couch, desk, dresser, two side table and (of course) the bed. The closet has space for hanging clothes, three half shelf's and a full length shelf across the very top. Amenities are nice; pool, small gym, jacuzzi, and laundry. The hotel has a breakfast buffet each day, and on Monday thru Wednesday they have a social hour with beer, wine, and snacks. The lobby, elevators, common area carpets and walls look great. The staff are incredibly nice and were more than helpful in telling me about places to see and eat at. The room I had was very nice, clean and comfortable. It has a thermostat I could control to make the room more comfortable. If you have a critical eye, the room was showing a little wear. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen and the ceiling in the shower had some slight water damage. The desk chair was shedding its top layer of fabric, and the ottomans had seen their fair share of use. Overall great experience and I would come back again. I love the Amenities offered here to guests, and the staff are very nice.

I have no real complaints other than the thin walls. I could hear the next door room snoring incredibly loud. They offer a lot of amenities such as dinner, wine and beer in the evening and breakfast. The breakfast was kinda garbage but it was free. Basically some bagels, fruit, oatmeal and odd omelets. They rotate bacon or sausage every other day. The pool area was nice and it remained open until 11. The hottub was actually hot as well. Overall it's not a bad spot to stay the night. They have kitchenettes in the rooms and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water with good shower pressure. Try to get a top floor room though.

Rooms were spacious and provided a coffee bar area with microwave and fridge. A desk and couch were also available in my king room. Bathroom amenities were lacking, toiletries were not of great quality, I'm glad I brought my own for this sort of situation. Plenty of towels, hairdryer included which is pretty standard. The bed, however, was hard. It felt like I was sleeping on a box spring and not a mattress. I did appreciate that the mattress was encased in a mattress protector. The pillows were great and I was able to use those to support my back and make the bed a bit more comfy. This was my first experience at CanadInn and as a Marriott enthusiast I can see why this hotel offers rooms at such a value. My stay wasn't horrible and could have been 3 to 3-5 stars if the mattress (most important part of any hotel stay) were improved. Check with the front desk on vouchers for the tavern, I believe you can buy one for $10 that provides $20 worth of food. Plenty of parking and elevators, the hotel was kept clean and was quiet.

Go back down the elevator, desk clerk was friendly, said she had no idea how that happened, Found us a second room on the same floor. Went to the door, scanned the keycard and yup, someone was already checked in that room as well. Marched back down a bit more frustrated. Got the same story. This time she put us on the penthouse floor. Third time was a charm. Day 2- We went to the water park. The guy there had no clue what he was doing. Gave us the wrong wristbands (not sure what the difference was), then switched them out and gave us more bands than we needed (a win for us). Although there are signs everywhere stating a waver must be filled out he never mentioned us filling one out. Day 3 - no issues Day 4 - our last night. Get up, go grab a bite of breakfast, and straight to the water park where once again, the young lady there just waived us on...no bands no waiver. A few hours later (2:20 pm) go back to the room to shower....only to find never cleaned and no towels. Call downstairs Jonah apologizes and says towels will be up right away and scheduled our room to be cleaned in an hour. At 2:55 called again for towels, a different person answers and informs us she just came on shift and did not know any thing about it. Within 3 minutes we had towels. Get ready, go downstairs to meet Jonah. Who dry rudely tells us it's too late in the day for housekeeping to clean the room. Then preceded to bash others for not doing their jobs and that they would be reprimanded. Other than that...no real issues.

This is a fairly well maintained hotel. The two ladies working on breakfast were very friendly, nice and on top of keeping things clean and refreshed. I'm not used to seeing that in "middle-of-nowhere" Fairfield. To be fair, it's not middle of nowhere but also not in a downtown area where I would expect it. The breakfast was typical. Just well maintained, not sloppy, didn't have overripe very black bananas (i see that way more often than I should). The oatmeal wasn't watery slop or gooey glop. Again, this isn't a five star hotel. It's just a very well run Fairfield Inn.
