NOTE: I am only reviewing the part of the CAT system that only runs within the University of North Dakota, as I have only taken those buses.
With that said, the CAT system at UND is a really good bus system! I will say that I have never used any bus prior to this, so my experience may be skewed, but I have found that they were always on time (plus or minus one minute) in the semester that I've used them so far. I would also like to note that the older lady who drives the UND Blue Route is extremely sweet. She always greets everyone with a smile and a warm "hello!" and wishes everyone a great day when they leave, which I can really appreciate. It always makes my day a little better. Shoutout to her (she's still there as of the 2023 Spring Semester!) Also, the buses are reasonably clean too, considering that it's winter in North Dakota and everyone easily tracks in dirt, snow, gravel, and salt. So overall, I highly recommend this bus system, at least the one at UND. I cannot speak for the other buses that go around the city. read more
