I was nervous because some where specific versions that he might play the wrong one. He didn't. He killed it. We also listed some artists to play during dancin, which he did. We were so lucky to have DJ Rey at our wedding on June 1st. My mom found him on The Knot and when…read moreshe called him she knew he would be perfect. My mother in law went to a tasting at the Cooper Estate (our venue) and Rey was there DJ-ing. Since we had both families on board already, it was a no-brainer! And I am so happy we ended up going with him. Not only did he do a fantastic job of working around our outdoor circle wedding, but he worked secretly with my mom to create a flash mob after we said our I-Do's! We had a pretty complex setup and schedule but he worked wonderfully with what we envisioned for our wedding. Our dinner was held inside the Estate and he worked seamlessly with our non-stop dinner service and speech process. He allowed our guests to wander around with the mic and he was so nice to my grandparents when it was their turn to speak. Once the dancing commenced he made sure to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night! We wanted a mix of oldies, new music, and salsa since we were combining my midwestern heritage with my husband's Cuban heritage. Rey knocked it out of the park. My grandmother even danced for over an hour! I will be using Rey again when my husband and I have kids and I definitely recommend him for any party you want to be a success! Thank you so much Rey, you did an amazing job with the ceremony, flash-mob, cocktail hour, walk-in, dances, and sparkler send-off. You made our wedding personal, fun, and extremely romantic.

Go somewhere else Pros: the place is cute and clean…read moreCons: Many. My Aunt had a party there several years ago and she loved the owner who is no longer there. Now it is under new ownership it seems. I had a party for my mothers birthday and unfortunately, I had to deal with this unorganized and unprofessional team. 1. They refuse to answer their phone, all communication is via text and therefore I was penalized for the lack of clarity because I was not able to communicate with these people effectively. Throughout the time that I had my contract with them, I attempted to make several phone calls, only to receive my response via text, the person said it is because they get a lot of "robocalls" or "scam calls" Not my problem, get a damn business phone. 2. I have been making monthly payments towards the total amount and paid off the balance well before the day of the party. Unfortunately, a few weeks before the party I was reminded to pay off the balance. Ok, no big deal to clarify that it has already been paid off, but this started a pattern of their behavior of being unorganized, unclear and the client, myself having to pay heavily for it. 3. The party was to seat 80 people. Prior to the party, I asked about the table options, round vs long, how many people per table, etc. It was determined that I would need 8-10 long tables. I was also sent 2 pictures of the entrance and asked my preference for set up (all via text). I liked the entrance to be free so people can move about and dance, assuming the tables would be on the other side. The day of the party there were absolutely NO TABLES. When my aunt arrived to set up they told me it would be another $150 to move the furniture around again. This was so confusing to me, not only was I unable to reach these people by phone, they never had my tables set up after we agreed on the long tables then charged me to move the furniture around and set up the tables. 4. The airconditioning does NOT work. 5. This was the very first time I have ever done anything like this so I asked for advice and assistance. One service that was needed was photography/videography. The man that works there said that he can provide this for me for roughly, I believe it was somewhere between 100-300$. Says he has done this before. Now photography does not mean just snapping pictures. When I finally received the pictures that this "photogropher" shot throughout the night, they were of such poor quality that I had to ask my friends and family for their pictures from their cell phones. The pictures were extremely dark. How the hell did he figure these were well done? Although there were numerous pictures, they were so dark and the quality was horrible. I canNOT believe this man told me this is something he could do and provided such crapy pictures. Do not offer services for which you are unable to perform even mildly well. There are dark shadows at the bottom of almost all of the pictures (Probably his hand). 6. Clean up is included in the price. But we had a lot of alcohol left. Instead of just taking the things that we brought, my cousins and other family decided to help tidy a little. Some people have been drinking but by any means were they disorderly. While my friends and family helped to pour some water from the vase and cups down the drain, some of the water spilled on the floor and we did not realize this. It wasn't until I overheard the lady making slick remarks under her breath like this isn't helping us at all, and making fun of my family with her partner that I realized someone accidentally spilled water on the floor near the sink. The did not directly say anything, the behavior continued and the mocked my family for trying to help. The spill was not much because it was easily....EASILY addressed with a mop. 7. Gross behavior, unprofessional, poor communication, misleading, I will never have an event there, attend an event there, or recommend this place to anyone unless it is run by another group of people.

Unreliable, inconsiderate, and grossly lacking in professionalism…read more I sought out Uplyte back in September 2010 to do the lighting for my wedding in April 2011. An estimate was drawn up and we established a plan to meet two months later in late November to do a demo of the lighting at my wedding venue. Now keep in mind that I'm from San Francisco, CA and the wedding in Florida is a destination wedding so I am not local and can only fly out a few times. We meet in November only for Uplyte to tell me on the day of the supposed demo that they can't do the demo because they have another event and have no lights to show. Since we intended to come out one more time, we were flexible and figured we'd catch them on the next go round. So in early January, we set up a meeting time for February 21st to do the demo again. Uplyte waited until Thursday the 17th (1 day before we were slated to fly out to Florida) to inform us that they are not open on Presidents day, even though we had made the appointment for the 21st back in early January and they knew we were flying out for our last vendor visit. So on two occasions we flew out to Florida (5+ hour flight) and they canceled with little or no notice. It's now less than two months before the wedding, wish us luck in finding a new lighting company for our event. We didn't get so much as an apology from this company and I have to say I haven't experienced this level of unprofessionalism ever. I guess doing your homework seven months early doesn't really payoff all the time. Hope this helps the next person/business - Cheers!

That day could not have come to be without the hard work, planning, organizing, and orchestrating of such an amazing team, Zeta Entertainment. Roxy and her team helped my husband and myself along the year journey to our wedding day, and honestly the journey was all part of the fun. I met our coordinator extraordinaire after visiting a bridal show. After trying to start the whole wedding planning process myself and becoming very overwhelmed, I decided to call them. I met with Roxy to go over what I had in mind including theme, personal touches I really wanted, any plans for a location, how many people I wanted, and budget. She was very enthusiastic about what I had in mind and made me feel very comfortable about having everything I wanted included within budget, so we signed up for full event planning! Roxy helped us with the entire process from start to finish and am so thankful for her guidance, organization, amazing connections, and even better negotiating skills! Once she get's to know you and your partner's personalities and quirks she'll be sure that everything being planned out is in your favor, to your likes and vision. Not only is she coordinator and director, she becomes personally vested in the event, making it just as much hers as yours. As soon as I saw this, which didn't take long, I knew we were in good hands and that she would do everything she could to make our day spectacular. We chose DJ and lighting though Zeta and had the chance to work with Saul. After meeting to speak about our preferences and organizing the songs for the ceremony, I knew we were in for a party! He definitely knows how to read the crowd to keep people on the dance floor and having fun. Honestly people are still talking about what a great time they had at our wedding because they danced all night long and didn't want the party to end! Roxy introduced us to our amazing photographer, Victoria. I really wanted something unique that I had never seen before and I got my wish and so much more! From one-of-a-kind underwater photography for our save the dates, to lovely engagement photos, to gorgeous wedding day photography, we couldn't have asked for more from Vicky. Her work is beyond compare! She also introduced us to our videographer, Jose. I've never met someone who is so emotional about his work and goes out of his way to ensure every detail is captured. We are so happy with how our wedding video came out and still cry every time we see it. He did an amazing job with editing, song selection and capturing the vision of our spectacular day! We also decided on the photo booth. We had a photo of us on the actual prints so that our guests could have them as a keepsake. Everyone loved it and when I go over to friends and family's homes they still have them up on their fridge! I could go on and on about how happy were with everything. Just a little advice for those looking for a wedding coordinator, I know it can be difficult to open yourself up to other options if you have very particular ideas in mind. Do yourself a favor; be open to their professional opinion, as I learned. Once I did, the result was simply magical! Thank you to the entire team at Zeta Entertainment; especially Roxy, Saul, Victoria, Jackie, and Jose, for helping us create this beautiful memory that will last a lifetime. We were beyond thrilled with the outcome!
