When my family was embarking on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce my own kids to the Jungle Queen. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

The owner of this establishment did the landscaping for my friends house and he liked his work so much that he decided to have his wedding at this "showroom" site From the outside it looks plain and its really in the middle of nowhere. However, once inside the landscaping genius takes over. As seen from my posted pictures there's a Koi pond that surrounds a central tiki hut island which makes for the perfect center piece for a wedding ceremony. There are also various trees and waterfalls that surround this area. If you follow the palm trees and foliage to the back of the property there are clearings for events/receptions etc. Cons to this place are its location (Redlands) and that there are dirt pathways that should be paved. Walking through these dirt pathways can get your nice shoes dirty and if it rains they can become significantly muddy. Finally, there are no restrooms for big groups of people. For the wedding portable restrooms were driven into the property. All in all I would definitely recommend this site for an exclusive event or wedding. Additionally, the owner is very friendly and does great work. I would recommend "Jungle B" for landscaping your house or commercial property.

Not only did she calm every nerve I had for months leading up to our wedding, but she also added so many personal touches, including letting us borrow her grandmother's silver cake cutter to cut our wedding cake. We would talk any day of the week at literally any time, even while she was on vacation with her husband. She helped my mom with last minute details for my bridal shower at no extra charge. She helped keep us on budget and make our wedding look spectacular. She negotiated on our behalf with all of our vendors, saving us as much money as possible. Not a single flower was out of place or table setting missing. We could not have done this without her. There were only four little kids inside, so it definitely wasn't a weight issue. This was supposed to be the main entertainment for the older siblings at a 1-year-old birthday party, and it ended up being unusable. I sent photos, called the driver, and was told by both he and the owner that someone would come back to fix it -- no one ever showed. I literally had to hold the thing up myself just so the kids could use it for a minute before giving up altogether. The owner said he'd follow up the next day, but never did. We asked for a refund and got ignored. Really unprofessional, especially from a company we trusted in the past. Definitely won't be using them again unless they make this right.
