I'll admit that they do have a great selection, with their online store having even more, but there's just something about these places that are here one month and gone the next. The prices are not much (or no) better than locally-owned shops, but they are probably more convenient for most people. They do have very friendly and helpful staff, which is always good.

This past weekend I was in a rush and was in need of some Minecraft balloons ... ya know, as one does. They immediately showed me what they had, which worked perfectly. And I was out the door with three Mylar balloons and half of a dozen of regular balloons in less than 10 minutes. I used to have to pick up balloons a lot when I planned events, and I know the time suck that can come from someone slowly inflating several balloons. That was not the case at all here. They were friendly, and asked me questions about when my party was to determine if the balloons needed to have Hi-Float in them to last longer. I also got to peek at the rest of their selection. For not a huge space, it is chock full of party decorations, costumes and more. This is a great spot to go when in need of some extra party pizzazz!

Spirit Halloween is a chain of seasonal Halloween super stores that pop up all over the place in September and stay a week or two into November. You can find a lot of cool decorations, props, snd costumes for your Halloween needs. Me and my family like to visit each year and shop for new decorations and costumes and it is always a good time. The earlier you come the better because the week of Halloween these places will be packed and bursting at the seems with limited inventory left We came to this location after visiting the nearby fern creek location and this store had tons more to choose from and actual stock and inventory. They had all there cool and fun displays out and working unlike there sister store in fern creek. So that was fun. We ultimately ended up grabbing a few costumes and a creepy clown animatronic for the inside of our house and a cool giant skull blow up for the outside. So it was a successful and pricey trip. However it was worth it because our kiddos loved what we got and had a fun time. Overall good spirit Halloween location. Much better then the other nearby locations that we went to this Halloween season.

The collections of all things wigs, masks, and just general weird exists here. They have what you're seeking. Trust me all year long. Now they have random events here and there. Make sure and subscribe to the newsletter in your email. Halloween is something special for this store. Now they have many different ways to express and celebrate your visits to the store. Many random ways to scare. The dragon under the stairs. How about a creepy cool looking chair. The clowns in the back of the store. Now the terrors and scares are all here for you and yours. Caulfield's Creep Fest in Louisville was exactly the kind of event I was hoping for…read more The Caulfield's store is downstairs and all the vendors were upstairs, and let me tell you--the costume contest was being taken VERY seriously. There were some seriously good costumes! It was really crowded, and there were definitely some screaming kids who were scared, which honestly just made the whole experience even more entertaining. They advertised having food trucks, but I honestly didn't see any. There was one possible food truck right at the entrance, but I wouldn't go expecting a whole variety of food trucks to choose from. We ended up rating this store at just OK...... It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad....... It's a small store so I'm sure they are limited on what they can offer. But it just felt as they didn't have much there.

Smaller sized spirit store that was more costumes than decorations than others it felt like. Store itself was well maintained and organized. Workers seemed to be solid. We came here to exchange a costume that was too small that we got from a different spirit Halloween further away. They did The exchange with no hassles. We also went ahead finished up costume shopping for the other kiddos. Overall solid and decent spirit Halloween. You know coming in they are pricey but they are the best option when it comes to extensive Halloween selections.

I went shopping a few weeks back with my 5 girls and some friends when we stopped into this shop. The building walking in will Give you big time nostalgia vibes. Lots of oldest clothing styles and vintage items to browse in this two level shop. The men's department is upstairs and the costume rental area is in the very rear. When back there be sure to look in the rafters for some old school child terrorizing animal mascot heads that are fun to check out. On our trip here my oldest found a 50s retro looking swim suit that she fell in love with. It was reasonably priced so we made the purchase. Overall a pretty cool shop that was fun to browse and brought a blast from the past feeling for me personally. Only strange thing was there was rack with an old uofl mascot hoodie my second oldest wanted but it wasn't priced yet so they simply said "not for sale".

Also yes! This shop is pretty well staffed and well upkept. Pretty easy to navigate and not as foresee aisles and spaces as other spirit Halloweens. We stopped in to grab the kids Halloween costumes. We are doing a cult horror film theme for our Halloween party haunted forest this year and they had plenty to choose from. Overall I enjoy the spirit Halloween's. Thai was a pretty nice location with friendly and helpful workers.
