Maxi is a LIFE SAVER!!!!!! Our bartender canceled 3 hours before our party and left us stranded. I reached out to multiple bartenders and Maxi was the only one that came through. She found a bartender of hers last minute and Travis was awesome. He was on time and made sure our guests were taken care of. We highly recommend Maxi and her team and will definitely use her again Thanks again read more

A lot of that was contributed by your staff. read more

So this was probably the most unprofessional experience I had ever dealt with . And her name was Maxi Greenwood . I acquired about servers and bartending service , For my mother 70th birthday party. I believe my wife found her number on google . I reach out by text she was on it right away which I appreciate so I decided to give her a call . And that's when I realize this lady was extremely pushy and to the point rude . She didn't stop talking about how great she was and how amazing her company is and really when someone is trying to sell you on words I started questioning myself this might not be the place to go . After the phone conversation in which she did 95 percent of the talking I advise her I would speak to my wife and see if we can do a 3 way call as my wife is a-lot better with details and usually handles all of our events . We agree to speak again the next day . So she called and text me around 7 times the next day I told her I'm working and so is my wife and that we will call her when we where together. She didn't stop she kept sending me Yelp reviews and pictures of events she had done in the past just really pushy and honestly very annoying. At that point I just started to ignore her, finally as I was on are way to dinner with my wife she called I answer and to this point hadn't told my wife what I was feeling about her I thought maybe there all like this but not at all she did the same things to my wife and kept on talking and talking never letting my wife say a word, finally my wife had to interrupt her to tell her what we wanted not what she wanting to do for us . It didn't seem like she like that and kept pushing the drinks she wanted to serve, we want something nice wine and cadillac margaritas fairly simple but nice and she kept pushing mai tai's and some kind vodka lemonade we had no interest in . My wife finally gave me the eyes like get this lady off the phone and I told her we got to dinner and we had to go and that I would let her know next day . I got another 8 text messages during dinner . I ignore them all just extremely pushy and annoying. After what me and my wife decided there no way we are dealing with someone like that and I text her next day and told her we decided to go with someone else I told her she was out of my budget which was not the case it was her there was no way I would have someone like that at my mother 70th birthday party she seem unstable and honestly full of shit . And honestly was the best decision I made. I'll post screenshot to her response as to what person you would considered hiring if you do . I had to block her on my phone because she went off and kept texting me . read more

Party Max Event Services - Her response to me after we advise her we weren't using her - Bartenders Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

Maxi... the name say it all ... delivering more than expected , humble and clean bartender . As a student and new to Bartending scene..she has proved to be valuable mentor and a peer in the industry. And believe me ... it's hard to find people who a willing to teach and guide new talent the right way.. I would encourage new students to reach out and ask for mentoring/ training. I met Maxi in a high end red carpet event where she was the star bartender. Her approach to customer service is value based .. which itself creates a niche experience. read more

We booked Maxi for a pool side birthday party in Palm Springs. She was above and beyond amazing. From the time i reached out to inquire about her bartending services, she was detailed, organized, prompt and had great communication. The day of the event came, and WOW!!! The drinks were awesome. I usually order the same drink everywhere i go, and the one maxi made blew me away!! Throughout the event maxi was making drinks, cleaning up, walking around and picking up, taking drink orders pool side, etc. We actually had a chef come in the evening, and although Maxi was there to bartend, she even helped out with the dinner too...... When the event was all done, it felt like a friend or family member was leaving. And the entire house was in better condition then when she arrived. She cleaned up everything and took out all the garbage. She even left us some fresh cut garnishes so we could continue the party. Wish we could leave even more stars, Will definitely use Party Max Event Services the next time we are in the area Southern California. read more

Maxi was super helpful and diligent to work with. I'll definitely be reaching out next time I have any staffing needs.

I wish I could highlight a half a star. I requested a quote for my wedding, recieved it late when promised, then when I recieved the quote.. (it was very over priced and over budgeted) I kindly responded to the email quote, thank you for your time, but we decided to go with another company. After that i received 5 UN Professional text messages from Maxi, telling me to go to hell, and she hopes i loose 2 hrs of my time for wasting hers. I could not believe the un professional, and disprespectful texts messages just from requesting a quote and deciding not to go with her. I hope no one else experiences this... read more

Great service, enjoyed having Maxi and her team help us pull our special event together. Thank you for your hard work.

We have used Maxi for two events, my sister's 21st bday party and my wedding. She has her own bar top, which she can bring, or she can use the one you provide. She asks the number of adults and children at the party then provides a list of drinks she can make. It's about 80 drinks, divided by the type of liquor. Once you make your selections she makes your shopping list. She gives you what she believes will be needed but it's up to you to know your crowd and make the final call on whether you really need another bottle of whiskey if your crowd is more a fan of tequila. The greatest distinction between Maxi and other bartenders is her extremely lively demeanor. Everyone raved about how amazing and funny and energetic she was. If you want a bartender that will keep the good vibes flowing, choose Maxi! You can pay cash or card so that's a plus!! read more

It is a pleasure to write this review for Maxi. Our regular bartender got really sick at the last minute, so I was referred to Maxi by a friend . She did an amazing job, was on time, with a friendly and joyful attitude. Her drinks were amazing and all of our guests complemented us about her professional service. Do not hesitate to call Maxi. read more

Maxi Greenwood of Party Max Event Services is the only Bartender/Mixologist for me!! Her attention to detail is impeccable. She helped plan a unique signature drinks menu, created a perfect and user friendly shopping list, picked up the ice and prepped her bar top so beautifully. She is a mixology WIZARD and worked a thirsty crowd effortlessly. I can not recommend Maxi enough!! read more

Maxi bartended our wedding in Vista, CA this past Saturday. Let me tell you, it was THE BEST money spent. Everyone congregated around not one but our two bar set ups! Maxi has received countless praise since our wedding. Was it her bubbly personality, her infectious smile, or her amazing drinks? Surely it was all of the above. Maxi was a sweetheart from the beginning. Her communication was swift and clear. Most important, she first and foremost wants the best for you and your guests. Initially, we planned to have one bar set up in the reception area but after a little thought we figured it would be a good idea to not do a "self-serve" setup during the cocktail hour. Because this was a change in initial plan, we wanted this to be as painless as possible for Maxi. We just wanted someone to serve beer and wine rather than our guests doing it themselves during cocktail hour. Maxi graciously agreed to working the first bar and coming earlier than initially discussed but she was not happy with the idea of doing just beer and wine. She truly had our guests in mind she she stated, "look, we need to do the full bar because we don't want people to start with beer and wine then switch to liquor and cocktails." How could I have committed such a party foul?! I remember my college days, "BEER BEFORE LIQUOR, NEVER BEEN SICKER. LIQUOR BEFORE BEER, YOU'RE IN THE CLEAR." Maxi's recommendation was to have 2 signature drinks, which we agreed. She crafted a list of 5 cocktails for us to choose from. We chose 1) Pom Collins (twist on my husband's favorite) and 2) Paloma (my signature drink, a drink I never heard of because I am a novice drinker but sounded too amazing to pass up). Once we agreed on the drinks she created a thorough list of everything we needed to purchase for our bar. As we were circling the aisles of Costco, looking like complete alcoholics, we realized that the list that Maxi created was not just for the 2 signature drinks but for a fully stocked bar in the event that someone wanted something other than our signature drinks. We ended up spending a little more than we wanted but were comfortable doing so because we knew that in the end our guest would benefit. And because we questioned Maxi's professionally crafted list by over purchasing based on our non-professional judgement. Going back to communication, when we had questions during our shopping, Maxi was a quick text away. As our wedding day approached, Maxi sent us some sweet messages, reminding us how excited she was for our big day and also to see if we had any questions. On the day of our wedding, Maxi arrived early and ready. She worked our cocktail hour without a hitch. She transferred the bar supplies from our cocktail site to the reception site and was ready appease our guests all over again! What an amazing night! Everyone had an awesome time thanks to Maxi. Everyone was pretty much doing the drunk shuffle all the way home. If you're wondering how much alcohol was left, almost none....except for all the extra beer and wine my husband and I thought we should buy (a lot more than what Maxi recommended). Cost wise, we spent about $1300 for all the alcohol, soda, and waters. If we stuck to the list I think we would have spent between $1000-$1100, which is NOTHING for a fully stocked bar for 100 guests. As far as what Maxi charges, you have to inquire with her. I will say that she charges a little bit more than her competitors but she's worth it. She will be kind and considerate to you guests and not just a robotic drink maker. I highly recommend booking Maxi! read more

My wife and I used Party Max Event Services to bartend our DIY wedding a few months ago. Maxi was professional and responsive to all of our questions. Prior to the event, Maxi provided us with a comprehensive list of recommended beverages and supplies for us to purchase based on our guest list numbers. The day of our wedding, our bartender, Jay, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Jay made recommendations on the bar setup on site and ensured that the needs of all of our guests were met. We highly recommend Party Max Event Services for all of your event bartending needs and thank you for your great service! read more

We got Party Max Event Services to bartend our wedding last weekend and they did an amazing & unforgettable job! From the moment I got in contact with Maxi, who is the owner of Party Max, she was very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel comfortable with what she was providing us. Though we booked a few months in advance, Maxi was always patient and replied back promptly to my numerous and repetitive questions. She gave us various suggestions on types of drinks that our guest would love. She also gave us our grocery list and it was just the perfect amount where we used up almost all the items. Steven, our bartender, was amazing and we heard many great comments from our guest on how friendly and entertaining he was! He picked up all the ice for our event and made the bar area look fantastic. We had about 100 guest for our backyard wedding, but never once did I see a long line. He was fast and entertained a lot of the guest with his fancy bottle moves :). At the end of the night, he let us know where he put all the items and how much was left. Very organized guy! I highly recommend Party Max Event Services! Great prices & friendly people. I will definitely use them again for any of my future events! Many thanks to both Maxi & Steven for helping make our wedding memorable! read more

Earlier this year we went to a party and met Maxi who was the mixologist for the evening. Her menu of cocktails was unique and she impressed us with her friendliness and professionalism. We noticed she had a great smile the entire time and came around to make sure everyone was taken care of. We just had a bridal shower with 25 guests in our home and hired her company to help us out since our friend had a really good experience. I didn't want to do the event solo since we work many hours and didn't need the extra stress. Leave it to the experts! We wanted it classy and done right. If you're thinking about having someone you know do this for you to save money - forget it. Do yourself a favor and hire someone. It doesn't have to cost a fortune. We met with Maxi beforehand and went over our ideas but hers were much better so we went with it. First, we needed help with a specialty drink menu- she nailed it. We decided to do the shopping ourselves so she was kind enough to send us a detailed list of items needed. We had her bring two servers to assist with food service and cleaning up during and after the shower. The staff she brought were friendly and professional as well, very focused on their tasks all the while making sure our guests had everything they needed. Maxi helped us out with the event from A- Z. We are not crafty so she set up the tables and the space looked much better than what we'd have done. During the whole process she was calm, attentive, reliable and had a wonderful, bright, positive attitude. We've now been to two events handled by Maxi and we will be using her team for the next one. Our mom-to-be was VERY happy and impressed as well. Job well done. We got to enjoy ourselves which normally doesn't happen when hosting. THANK YOU! read more

We had a 50th birthday party that we needed to put together with fairly short notice and didn't have time to sweat all the details. We found Maxi on CL and couldn't have been happier. She was not available to work the event but had an awesome crew instead. They were on time, knowledgeable and extremely helpful getting last minute things put together and making the guests welcome and refreshed (Thanks Tania, Angie and Raulie!!) Back to Maxie.... She is a great communicator and knows what she's doing. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with her, I knew I was in good hands. She helped figure out the drink menu based on my guest list and put together an awesome shopping list that made gathering supplies a snap. Between work, kids and life, I didn't have time or capacity to worry about all of these details. That's where Maxi stepped in. She made sure everything was dialed in so I just needed to have a good time. That was money well spent! Thanks again Maxi read more

I hired Maxi to bartend for my post rehearsal dinner game. I hosted a Grand Gatsby Murder Mystery game at the Britt Scripps Manor and I needed drinks popular to the Prohibition Era. Maxi was sooo fabulous! She researched all the drinks and made a huge list of the most popular ones. Once we tried a few of them we both came up with a list of 6 drinks. When it came down to the party the drinks were insanely good! I actually now have a favorite cocktail of all time because of her research! The south size fizz! The event was super busy for a bride, as you can imagine. But she made sure that I had a drink every time and that I wasn't forgotten about. She arrived early for the event. And set up and even cleaned up after. She literally handled EVERYTHING. I even asked her to do all the $1,000 worth of alcohol and stuff the night before the event and she came through. She's very affordable, super punctual, responsive, and VERY VERY friendly!! I can tell she loves what she does and she's very motivated. I highly recommend her for you next bartending event! I know I've found my go-to mixologist! read more

I wanted to take the time to tell you about Maxi of Party Max Event Services. I got married this past weekend and used Maxi's services as my bartender and she was AMAZING!!! Incredibly professional and all around awesome. My guests still can't stop talking about how amazing she was. She went above and beyond. She actually got to know my guests by name... and served them by name. I can barely remember my kids' names. Her service was so impeccable, I can't rave enough about her. I want to get married all over again just so I can have her work with us again. She worked really well with my coordinator and was truly a pleasure to work with. read more

Where do I begin? I am one of those people who usually has everything under control. So when I was hiring people to staff my DIY wedding, they simply had to be the best. This was at my husband's parents' house, so it would require much more organization that a wedding at a venue that was set up for events. I immediately knew upon speaking with Maxi that she was the one to coordinate this wedding reception. Though she may be known as a bartender, she is far more than that--she is an absolute miracle worker in every way. She spoke with me in advance about almost every detail of the wedding and reception to ensure she had a complete picture of my vision. She offered me suggestions regarding table set-up, food preparation, tablecloths, staffing, and more, including ways for me to cut costs by borrowing tables, buckets, etc. She was very easy to communicate with and was available for questions/suggestions/changes up until the wedding. Although I was initially hesitant about paying for staffing, I think this was one of the best investments I made in my wedding. The days leading up to the wedding held many unforeseen challenges, and my "in-control" persona went completely out the window. There were dozens of changes or oversights (on my part) that would have thrown off even the most levelheaded person. Not Maxi. She made sure to assure me the night before my wedding, when I texted her frantically that there were a lot of changes, that it would all work out perfectly. And it did. Because of her. She worked with my friends and family who were there to help (all of whom said it was an absolute joy to work with her). She did all the things I told her would be done for her. She dug through piles of disorganized boxes (after I promised her that everything would be organized for her!!) and did whatever it took to turn my vision into a reality. She made tough decisions that were right on. She and her assistant served my guests with a smile and saw to it that they had an amazing time. Nobody would have ever guessed that she was up bartending the night before until after 2am--she was there bright, shiny, and totally present EARLY to make sure our brunch wedding went off without a hitch, and she stayed late to make sure everything was taken down, put away, and organized. I am forever grateful to Maxi and her team for what she provided on one of the most important days of my life. She is worth every penny and then some--I would highly recommend her not just as a bartender, but as a coordinator for any event. She is an angel and will be the first on my list for anyone I know looking for event staffing. Thank you, Maxi! read more

I used Maxi's services to staff a mixologist/bartender for our event. Maxi was professional and dependable and really helped us prepare. She not only helped us design a cocktail menu, but she also recommended exactly how much of each ingredient we needed and what type of drinks would work for our event. She was truly caring and gave me options from her staff. She sent Tim to bartend our reception, and he was incredible! He was prompt, professional, friendly and polite. He is also very knowledgable and creative with the drinks. All my guests loved him! He brought everything needed (and even things I didn't even think of, like colored paper straws, etc.) and really helped with prep, arrival of guests, and cleanup. This really helped me enjoy the party instead of worrying about all the details. I couldn't be happier with their services and am very glad I chose them. Trust me, you will be too! read more

Hire her...I mean it. You won't be disappointed. Seriously, she is worth every cent. My husband and I engaged Maxi's Bartending Services for our daughter's engagement party. It was a complete success, and we owe a lot of gratitude to Maxi for her contribution. We had a unique gathering of family that included children (about 30 guests total). Some drinkers and some non-drinkers and Maxi accommodated each and every person. Including Shirley Temples for the kiddos. She was available (with a smile) from the first moment she and I made contact all the way up to the event. She also had many recommendations that were used. She is a professional and she knows bartending as well as people. Everyone loved her. She always had a line at her bar, and she was appropriately engaging, warm, and friendly with all of the guests. She did her best to make my husband and me along with the engaged couple a priority. She also did a phenomenal job with set-up (very classy) and break-down (organized, clean, no fuss). Obviously, I can't recommend her enough! Her bartending services were essential to the success of our special event.
