Party City gives me the ick, pretty much everything about it honestly. It's cold, it's dark, it's dirty, I get depressed vibes in there not party vibes. The items are so overpriced it's offensive. You could get much better quality items elsewhere for a more reasonable price. There is never any staff wandering the aisles to help you find things, I feel like the bulk candy has been in those bins for years and years and years. They have tons of supplies don't get me wrong, same Party City you went to years ago, nothing has changed, it's just icky in there. Every time I go in there for something specific, like bachelorette party stuff or bridal shower decorations I always leave empty handed because I forgot how expensive everything is. Hire employees that know what good customer service is or teach them! I live 5 min away. Avoid this place at all cost unless necessary! Employees are rude and act uneducated. I gave 2 stars but the girl at the balloon section was nice and I'd give her 5! As for the employee in charge today, who was more concerned with her personal conversation and doesn't know how to respond professionally to an employee asking a question for a customer and the cashiers that don't even say hello! Just blurt out "just so you know all sales are final" they get 1 star because they are working not sitting home like bums. Had the employee in charge not answered the way she did, you could have had another $50 on your sales for the day. I'll drive out of my way to Clark where they have professional employees who know how to speak and know good customer service. read more

party city is terrible my mom went there to get balloons for my birthday and in employee told my mother that you could get the balloons refilled whenever you wanted. We go for my mom's birthday and she went in to get the balloons filled with helium and they said that we only had to pay for the helium. But when we went in there the lady was so rude to my mom and told her that we had to pay for the balloons that we already bought again and that is disgusting and money hungry they left my mom in tears and she was very upset so party city needs to do better and must stop being so cheap. read more

Horrible!!! Employee was too busy talking to his coworker and did not properly secure balloons... I left store and the balloon immediately flew off of the string. Went back in and they were completely out of stock. Waste of time and energy, thank you Party City of Watchung! read more

1st off let me start off by saying WORST PARTY CITY EVER! We ordered balloons for my nephew going to college party and we have to spend over $50 to get free delivery so we ordered candy to make small gift bags so the total was approx. $70. We needed them to be delivered on 7/25 @ around 12 because we were having a brunch at Capital Craft and wanted everything set up before family started to arrive. So Party City don't have delivery people so they had a Uber driver deliver the balloons and was late but thats not even the issue. The driver delivers the WRONG BALLONS, WRONG COLOR, WRONG EVERYTHING. So we call Party Hell back and let them know that they delivered the wrong balloons which was probably someone else's balloons for their occasion and they were now not getting them. So after being on the phone for a long amount of time the manager says that they going to have another Uber bring the correct balloons and this was around 12:30. Needless to say we had our entire brunch and no Uber driver showed up with the balloons. At this point its almost 3:30 which is 3 hrs later and we at my sis house and the manager says the Uber driver is on the way to Capital Craft but guess what we already left there. The Uber driver says he's going to bring them to her house which took another 30 min or so when she's only max 10 min from Party of Hell. He brings all these balloons that is no longer any use because the party was over. So now we have to contact Party City to get a full refund. Don't know if this was a 1 off or not but we won't use them again if they couldn't get it simple order like balloons correct. Me personally I don't recommend them and give them 2 thumbs down. read more

I'm a big Party City fan. I love the idea of the place, and they all have a certain smell that I just eat right up (yeah, I actually eat the smell). This Party City was located elsewhere and moved to a new massive store. And boy did they go to town fixing this place up. There is a section in the store for every party theme you could possibly imagine, from your general birthday, graduation or anniversary party to specific holiday themed items, "girls' night in" decor, specific Disney-themed decorations and pretty much everything else fathomable. It is extremely easy to locate the different sections of the store, and because the store is so new, it is very clean, spacious and organized to a tee. There is a huge "Candy City" section of the store, every human's dream (not just for kids!). The selection of balloons is in a league of it's own. And the cashiers are friendly, too. I'm a kid in a candy store in this place. Five stars, easily. read more

Go elsewhere!! The manager here is extremely rude and lacks all customer service skills. I brought in a piñata that I purchased at another location. It has a hole in the bottom. The other store didn't have any more so they told me watchung had a number and to exchange there. When I explained the situation, the manager threw such an attitude. It was really quite shocking. Told me I had to take it back to the original location and what they told me was wrong etc. He was angry. It was so ridiculous. The other associate was uncomfortable. Could see it in her eyes. Awful. I spends thousands in party city location every year. Lost my business that's for certain. read more

I disdain this store as a normal course of business. But to top it off, their hourly wage workers determine when the store will be open and closed, instead of what is published on the sign. Low class operation, better to go with Amazon. read more

This party city is very clean and organized. My husband and I were having a gender revealing party for our baby to be and Malcom was helpful in helping make this possible. read more
