I've been to this store a few times lately in search of rather specific items. First, a gold fedora, then weeks later, blue and silver plastic dinnerware. I ended up with all I was searching for...and more, of course. While some of their inventory is frightfully expensive, others - surprisingly decent. Kinda strange, really. For example, 50 silver plastic cups = $6.99 (Yikes!). Yet, a super cool tiara (offered in every major color, by the way), only $2.99. Yeah...weird. That said, I have found some items are less inexpensive than at a dollar store. So definitely do some comparison shopping before assuming items will always be more expensive here. They had some great after-Christmas sales on some items, then others I was surprised they were only 30% off or not on sale at all. I guess adult, Santa-themed onesies will still be a hot item come December this year, so no need to discount those apparently. A few days after a recent purchase I had to make a return. I noticed the cups I bought had damage on the end. Back at the store, I had to search through several stacks to ensure I was leaving with (hopefully) undamaged plastic cups. The exchange process was pretty easy fortunately. I've also been surprised at some BOGOs I was unaware of until wonder of why the grand total wasn't more expensive. I'm sure they publish these sales somewhere, I'm just not privy to that info as of yet. read more

This location should be an embarrassment to the name! I've gone there twice and both times the lady ringing out hates her life and job. Now mind you, these were two different females. The one today showed it's the culture of the store and not just a one time poor service. Today the lady checking me out couldn't even get two words out except they couldn't blow up balloons because they were almost out of helium. Party city specializes in balloons yet couldn't fulfill 7 balloons for my daughters bday! Someone from corporate needs to get in this store ASAP and train these employees. read more

I walked in to go look for something for Halloween , and it does seem by my looking that they have new staff, I went up to a girl to ask for help on finding something and she looked at me clueless. I then proceeded and asked for a mangers assistance in finding what I was looking for I didn't even at that point want to even ask the manger on dutie. Because the manger approached me with a bad attitude and was rude the entire time up until I was like i'm good I'll figure it out. I don't care what anyone says but that right there was horrible costumer service. read more

The manager here had a conversation with an employee about slavery while I was shopping. The manager, white, told the other employee, black, that she, the manager, is oppressed. This clearly offended the employee and put her in an uncomfortable situation. As time went by and I kept shopping I noticed the manager barking orders at only one employee. She made this very visibly new employee do multiple jobs while other employees relaxed. This employee was a very kind, and sweet person, as well as just a kid. I asked this employee about her time here so far and her manager. The employee says that she is made to stay after hours basically being forced into over time while some of the other coworkers have conversations and with their friends and slack off or while the manager takes her sweet time either counting money or what ever else needs to be done. If the manager notices that a job assigned to another employee is apparently not done. This new employee is told to do it. This employee told me that she loves her first job but her manager, who I will name drop, Merlin, has made it as hard as she can for this employee specifically. So the managers just a bitch. read more

Dont buy balloons here-- or even take balloons you ordered online to have them blown up! $6.99 per balloon for helium and the woman was rude and didnt even fill them up all the way. They are all wilted. I will not be back for any balloon need. Such a rip off. read more

I will start off by stating that the employees at Party City are always very helpful, the layout is nice, and the stores aisles are neat and clean. I originally went to Party City last weekin preparation for my sons second birthday. Upon getting home I realized I had bought too much and had extras. **I had also bought a balloon time helium tank. Well today I received a flyer from Toys R Us saying they had the balloon time helium tank on sale. I called Party City and asked if they matched prices and explained the situation. They were very nice and let me come in, ad in tow, and exchange the helium tank for the lower price. I also returned the extra items with no hassle. The customer service I receive at Party City is always and they have definately earned my loyalty. read more

Worst store ever. Let's see... 1. Wait in long SLOW line 2. Blank rude stare by skinny male "customer service rep" 3. Told to get my balloon order 5 feet to left. I think it was just too far for him. 4. I returned in .2 seconds and guess what... He just closed out his register because "he was like just about to take a break man." 5. Next register can take me, but oh man the computer crashed. 6. Tick tock tick tock....... 7. Manager finally came and rang me up. I feel bad for all the people still in line on a Friday night. I was trying to get 3 balloons filled with helium as I was on my way to a balloon release for a a friend of the family who was killed. He was just 13 years old. I had not planned ahead and hoped the staff would be accommodating considered the situation. They were rude and did not want to hear my story. All is needed was 3 balloons but they said I would have to wait until the next day. We were grieving and did not think ahead. Party City is not a company I want to do business with. I hope you train your employees on customer relations. read more

Party City not sure where to start!!! Thus would really be a good place for a party store!!!!! I will start from entering the store; a couple ask the young girl who was sweeping in front of the door, who by the way never moved to allow customers to enter or who NEVER looked up from sweeping the floor, where they could find a particular product she proceeds to say well it could be in the last isle or could be mixed in with other merchandise. The couple looked at each other and just shrugged their shoulders and set out for the hunt. I went on in to get the paper goods I came for, only to need more that wasn't on the shelf. I walked around the store looking for an associate only to find no one. I walked up to the register same young girl as the floor sweeper, waited until she was finished with her customer and ask if she was the only one working and she told me no and preceded to call someone and told me they would be right there. I stood in the isle where I needed help for 12 minutes and no one ever came!!! I left and left what items I had in the cart in the middle of the isle. I got on the website placed my order and left the store. I got to my car and I called the store to speak with a manger and after being on hold for about 6 minutes someone came back on the line to tell me to call back in 30 minutes she was too busy to take my call now!!! Sad but this has always been my experience in this store!! The lack of customer service drives me mad!!! If I could give it minus stars I would!! I wish there was another option in this town for bulk party supplies!! read more

I went to pick up balloons for my party and as I was waiting the two women helping me were talking about how they hated their boss. I believe that they do but probably should not be talking about it in front of customers. Very unprofessional. read more
