They were super nice and accommodating. The party started at 11 but the team arrived promptly at 8am for set up. They did the set up and provided me the pertinent rules and instructions. A different team came to take the bouncy castle away. All of our guests really enjoyed the day. They also took care of the complete set up. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again!

So when I needed glasses and plates for my recent 30th birthday soirée. I shopped around online (correction my wonderful girlfriend did the research for me). She found that most estimates were $10-40 more than Action, there prices and selection of specialty cocktail glasses were second to none. Aside from glassware, these guys have Everything one would need to throw a soirée or gala in your own backyard... Literally. Tiki hut bars, pop up tents of various sizes, cotton candy machines, ice tables, and more and more - check their website. The store is located just off of Mavis, if you know where Metal Works Studios is, it's basically to the rear of that parking lot. As for the process, smooth and simple. The staff helped coordinate everything I needed over the phone and vial email. On pick up day they were ready a day before, on drop off day they came to my car and helped me unload in about 5 minutes and we were done. I don't throw many parties in my personal life but when I do from now on... I'm taking ACTION!

Ryan returned my call, I told him what I needed and he said that he had a tent for me and would send someone to check out our deck. I explained that we were going away camping for two weeks with very limited access to the internet. He said that wasn't a problem and that he would put aside a tent for us. He did send someone to check out the space for the tent and all was well. He wrote to say it would work. I immediately responded and told him to let me know how we could put a deposit down. He replied by email that I could call him with the credit card information or fill in the online form. The later would not work as we were camping so I phoned and left two or three voice messages giving him the Visa info. I did not want to do it all in one phone call as I felt uncomfortable with that. I also went to a place with Internet and wrote and told him that I had left a voice message with all the info and to please email me and let me know that he had received the necessary information needed for the deposit. On coming home I repeatedly phoned and emailed to see if we did have the tent. I left messages saying that I was really getting concerned as this was a post wedding brunch for my daughter and that I needed to know. I never was given the courtesy of a response which I find to be very unprofessional. If he had just let me know where we stood then I would not have written this review. I am wondering if the company is still in existence or if something has happened to Ryan. They have two phone numbers. I tried them both but the voice message on both number numbers was Ryan. We ended up getting the tent from another company in a fast,professional manner. Too many companies renting tents to put up with unprofessional, cavalier treatment offered by Action Party Rental.

It's hard to review a business I haven't used, but the fact I haven't used them is the reason for…read morethe review. A client called me on a Friday to ask me to obtain a quote. I sent off a quick email to Superior explaining clearly I needed the quote *before end of business Monday*. I didn't make it easy for them, I admit, because the client had given me a theme description but no date or venue. But I wasn't asking for a full event proposal, just a quote on some rentals and staff. Monday at 11:30ish, I get an email from Lee at Superior saying he's leaving at 1 but we can talk "today or tomorrow." First indication he hasn't really read my email, since Tuesday obviously doesn't work for someone who says she needs the info Monday. He also says he has questions but, instead of asking them so we can start the ball rolling, suggests only that they exist and that I should contact him. Nice way to speed the process along when your customer's in a rush. He also manages to get my name wrong. I call him within minutes. We talk. He says I'll have something shortly. I call back a few hours later and Joanne tells me he's gone into a meeting, but will have him get in touch with me when he gets out. I call back AGAIN a few hours after that, and he's apparently gone from that meeting to another. It's now 20 minutes before the end of the day and when I explain to her that they've just lost a customer over this, now she gets proactive. Not enough to track Lee down or get me my missing information, but to refer me to someone else who can start from scratch only 20 minutes before my deadline. Apparently a new customer wasn't worth passing the file along, or asking someone to call me, or anything. He just left me hanging, screwing both me and my client. Want to use Superior? Go for it. I'm sure some people have had good experiences. I, however, was left hanging and let a client down because I relied on their promises. Post-script: He finally got back to me with a half-hearted apology and attempt to provide information at 9pm Monday, hours after my client had made her decision, and hours after the deadline I'd given him. My name was still wrong, and while he apologized for getting back to me so late in the day, he didn't really acknowledge that it wasn't just late in the day, it was past the deadline and useless.

The conversation was progressing professionally until the day of pick up where he provided us with a sketchy address for pick up. The individuals residing in this address claim not knowing him. Not only that, he ended up giving a costume to someone else when there is clear email confirmation for pick up on an agreed upon date. He claimed that I picked it up the day before. He didn't even know the individual's name who picked it up and is accusing me of stealing from him. Don't bother renting from him as him and his business are a joke.

I asked for advice on what size of tents to use for 6 round tables to accomodate ~50 people. They told me that 6 tables would easily fit under two 10x20 tents, and so this is what I got. I also ordered 50 chairs and table linens. Their prices were fair. The only critique I have is that they did not estimate well for the size of tent that would fit 50 people. The 6 round tables did not fit comfortably under the two 10x20 tents when all the chairs were set around the tables. I ended up moving 2 tables outside (and it did rain a bit that day! oops....) Despite this little critique, I would highly recommend this company. They had excellent customer service, good quality goods, and their delivery people were friendly and fast. I would certainly use them again. I only gave my experience about the size of tent so others with similar guest numbers can estimate the expected number of tents and tables they would need to fit.
