This crafty type of experience is definitely up my alley even if it's not so for my BF, lol. It was easy enough to schedule and they were very accommodating with the time slots. Upon getting there though, it wasn't as organized or streamlined as I was expecting. The space is very small, cramped and low ceilinged. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with people. I had to ask about the class and wait an extra 6ish min for an instructor even though we arrived at the exact time of our registered class. I did enjoy the class but felt it was more of a demo, then you're on your own instead of step-by-step. Our instructor would jump in if you really needed help. For example, another worker just ended up finishing his bowl but he gave a brave start. It was fun and relaxing choosing paints and then painting but just wish there was more inspo provided or guidance. We were just left to our own devices but wish there could've been templates, example pictures or even stencils to help out less artistically inclined (I'm not speaking of myself, of course, but for kids or anyone who who could use some extra help). Checking out turned out to be an ordeal, and they should majorly redo this process to make it faster and more streamlined. My BF and I waited for more than 15min behind only one other person trying to pay. We also had our voucher gift printed out so not sure why it took the worker about 15min to enter it into the tablet and make it so awkward and complicated. The class came up to about $80 for the 2 of us so it's no chump change and is more expensive than some of the chains like Clayground, etc. They have a tip jar and ask for tips which feels in bad taste since there was virtually no service or even guidance besides the class portion. I can't imagine paying $40 for a clay piece here, painting and designing it myself, grabbing my own supplies, returning supplies, washing brushes, then paying a tip on top of that. One more annoying thing is that the worker told me to check their instagram page to see our pieces get pictured and I diligently reviewed every single post for the entire month and our pieces were never shown... The location is also pretty inconvenient from me. I would recommend a chain/franchised place with cleaner, less clutter, more space and better facilities.

Such a cute and fun spot! We took a beginner's wheel class for $40 and had a great experience. The…read moreinstruction was clear, hands-on, and super beginner-friendly. The instructor was patient and helpful, which made the whole process feel really approachable--even for first-timers. A fun surprise was that we got to paint our pieces after they fired them! They moved the process along pretty quickly, and we got to choose our own colors and painting techniques, which made the whole experience feel really personalized. We were told we could pick up our finished pieces in about a week. They also offer other creative options like just painting pre-made pieces or working with glass. There were a variety of painting styles and tools available, and the overall vibe was very welcoming and creative. The service was friendly and accommodating. The only downside was that I noticed a girl who seemed to be in training, and the manager didn't treat her very kindly--there were moments that felt unnecessarily harsh and condescending, which was a little uncomfortable to witness. Overall though, it's a charming studio with a lot to offer for both beginners and returning visitors. I'd definitely go back!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time today it was our first time there. My only minor complaint…read moreis I tipped 20% because the prompt came up and I felt awkward not doing it, so we spent about $85 for 2 regular size ceramics and 1 mini one. The tip ONLY bothered me because at the end we were the only ones in there and we had about 7 paint bottles on the table, the ladies were standing around talking (totally fine like I said no one else was in there) but the last table that left had all their paint on their table still. So when I asked do we just leave? She said can you put your paints away. It's totally fine except for the fact that like, it took us a long time to find the proper spots, they weren't doing anything and she knew we were in a time crunch, I just feel like if im going to tip $11 maybe they should have put our paints away for us? Not being lazy it just seems it would have been much faster and helpful for them to do it since we were the only ones in there. Anyway. I don't want to come off rude, everyone was very nice, I just don't understand tip culture these days where we are tipping for something that we do all the work for lol (I was a bartender for 18 years so I always tip)

If you have been in before they are good about taking a more hands off approach. The selection of pottery to paint has decreased in variety I believe due to the other activities. They offer a party room, which could be a really fun family outing or child's party. I have only done the pottery painting but am considering the couples wheel class. Check their website for different classes offered. The price may seem high but considering all that is included, I really don't find it unreasonable.

We live out of state (New England so not close). My handbag was stolen a few weeks back along with the gift cards. I have a police report and felt awful that the gift cards were in the stolen handbag. I assumed by calling and explaining this unusual circumstance...that Eva would graciously honor those gift cards. NOPE...and she is such a COWARD that she didn't have the respect to pick up the phone and tell me herself. Didn't expect this nasty response with no explanation. I don't think the thief is going to drive all the way to Youngstown OH to use the gift cards. Is Eva that desperate for money? I honestly feel robbed twice. I had to ask for additional paint brushes, stand for pottery, how to use certain paints. The store was packed but when paying $55.00 for two items of pottery I feel things should be explained. The people we met up with ended up using the "wrong" paint on a piece she spent $30.00 for. She wasn't able to even finish it the way she had hoped for.
