They have moved their location,…read moreslightly, from a basement in the Alpine Village Center to the former Alpine Casino space (1116 16th St W). It is PHENOMENAL!!! There are now 2 floors of nothing but FUN...and GAMES (see what I did there?). Seriously, though, we all had an amazing time. We arrived 15 minutes before the start of our party and had plenty of time to set up before our guests arrived--Kameron and Sydney were so helpful and even brought stuff in from my car! We went over a timeline for play, food, cake, and presents and determined when the magic show (a MUST, see below) would happen. This is one of my favorite aspects of this venue. They know their stuff and so when Sydney asked me how I wanted to organize our time and I froze and had no idea, she told me what usually worked best and we did that. I didn't even have to use my brain. It was wonderful! We brought our own food in, per the birthday boy's request for mac and cheese, but we wouldn't have had to do that. We could have gone through them and gotten pizza or had popcorn or a great ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Either way works so well, though. They managed all the clean-up and had I forgotten something (candles, cake knife, etc.) they have everything right there. I feel like this next part needs a separate review because it is SO GREAT and I don't want it to get lost in all the other greatness that I've discussed. The MAGIC SHOW. Kameron never disappoints. We have seen this show multiple times now and it never gets old. He is always hysterical and the tricks are always fantastic and entertaining. The kids were in stitches the entire time and the adults all commented on how much fun it was to watch. And...who doesn't enjoy a show in which someone plays with FIRE!?!! This venue is such a great addition to our little community! The value is excellent--I definitely got more for my money than I have at any other party venue in town. There is something for everyone--from little ones to adults, which makes it the ideal party place for any celebration. I only wished I had used them to their full potential--they offer so much more than I have mentioned here. For our next party, I will be sure to sit down with Kameron and Sydney and add on all the extras. So, to recap, call Kameron and Sydney for your next party. Just do it. You'll be so glad you did because it will be the best party you've ever thrown and you'll be supporting a small, local business.

With soap, jewelry, dish towels, detergent, tote bags, throw pillows, playing cards, stationary, a small pantry that includes fresh items from local small business, and everything in between. Frae also has a classroom with classes on candle and soap making, metal art, sewing classes and even creating a charcuterie board. Over the holidays they had themed based classes for those wanting to have a personal touch in their holiday decorating. The goods here come from all over, especially from small businesses from both Billings and Montana in general, but also from elsewhere in the country or from around the world from others who also believe in recycling, eco-friendly, and sustainable goods for daily living. While it is a small store, many other things are available on line and if for any questions on anything in the store or from where it is sourced, the owner will let you know, or find out for you. I think that the charm of the place comes with personality, if you cannot follow directions (ringing a doorbell, respecting someones store that they have put 45+ years into curating), im sorry for your loss. The owner is not kind to women in his store. We saw a nice music box and wound it gently to see…read morewhat song it played and make sure it worked. I decided to leave it, and set it back on its shelf. The owner then came over and started scolding me like I was a child for playing the music box. I apologized, but he started yelling at me and continued to follow me and my family through the store and berate us. At one point my mother put her hand slightly up and told him "we get it, we understand," and that is when he started to get aggressive, started yelling even more loudly at us, and he put his hand aggressively in my face. I did not feel safe, and I told him "we are happy to leave" and my family and I left as he continued to become more agitated. It was actually very shocking, uncomfortable, and disappointing. I would not recommend any woman shop in this store, alone or with others, and that any men who respect women not shop here either.

I wasn't prepared to have as much fun exploring this store as what I did…read more For collectors and kids of all things ranch and farm related, Action Toys is a must-visit. It's a different kind of toy store. Forget building blocks or action figures; try tractors, heavy equipment, loaders, spreaders, trucks, and farm and ranch animals. Buy a barn and stock it with the accoutrement. Cattle, cows, pigs, sheep, horses, saddles, even the tiniest already bailed hay. The first thing that caught my eye were the tractors (yeah, I know), but they had the toy replicas of John Deere tractors going back to the early 1900s. If green is not your color, then they had the IH tractors, too. Of course, like any toy store, there are things not farm related: racing cars, dump trucks, dinosaurs, and the like. While I was there, a grandfather was shopping with his two grandkids who were having more fun looking at everything than I did. They walked out with a good size stash of things for their collections. It was fun to watch and hear their excitement. Action toys is an interesting store with whatever is needed to build a model farm or ranch.
