Thankfully Christina did not skip a beat, and went into hyper speed. She is assertive, and makes quick but smart decisions, which is exactly what you need when you're losing light and trying to wrangle 15+ tipsy people. Lorenz was the photographer at a conference where I spoke as a panelist recently. As a speaker, I forgot he was even down in front of me taking photos - he is not intrusive, so I didn't lose my train of thought while speaking - and he captured some great shots. The lighting and composition were truly beautiful. Then, by coincidence the following week, Lorenz was the photographer hired by my employer to take head shots of our team. Lorenz took practice shots to find just the right spot, and he took photos of each of us in a few different spots - so there were several different "looks" for each person - all in the span of about only 10-15 minutes. He captured beautiful morning light and some of our employees look like they're in a J. Crew or other professional ad campaign - really! He is very easy-going during the process and makes you smile, laugh, change stance, etc. so you get a really diverse set of shots (relaxed, posed, big laugh, smile, grin, serious) without feeling super-awkward. I really don't like getting my photo taken, and I don't ever like a lot of the shots I am in, but Lorenz captured some really nice shots and I am very happy with my head shots - everyone in our office is very happy with his work!

I cannot be more grateful! I'm very happy with my headshots and I highly recommend Lorenz Angelo!

Meera Fox photographed my wedding this year and I was so lucky to have chosen her to do the job…read more My ceremony happened at sunrise and Meera was there to get every magical second of it. Then she stayed with me all day and all night until the last guest left the reception. If you are going to have a photographer by your side on the most important day of your life every minute of that day, it needs to be someone whose presence adds to the occasion and empowers you, without changing the vibe of the event. Meera was perfect in this way. It felt like she had my back no matter what we were doing. She was simply there, doing her job the whole time, but she was making everything feel special and making me feel beautiful and calm. The photos she took at my reception were epic! I had the quirky idea to do an old fashioned formal portraiture look where everyone was serious in the photos, just like they used to do in the olden days when people had to hold still for a long time to have their portraits taken, so no one smiled. Trying not to smile of course made everyone feel very silly, so Meera got serious and then funny ones of each group. I loved them all. Then Meera also roamed around the party all evening taking her famous candid shots of all the guests partying and having fun. These are moments I will always treasure and she documented everything so thoroughly. I can't wait now to have a baby because I want Meera Fox Photography to take baby portraits for me! Meera Fox has done a modeling shoot with my husband and he looks so amazing in the photos. I love her retro aesthetic and her technical rigor. As a professional photographer myself I am extremely choosy about who I hire to do photographs for me and of me. Meera Fox Photography is the best of them all.

Meera Fox has also done modeling shoots for both my girls together and separately, and is helping promote them to the local modeling agencies. Because she is always involved with fashion related events, Meera Fox has involved my children in modeling opportunities they would not have had access to otherwise. My eldest has walked in a few runway shows and has amassed an impressive portfolio working with Meera Fox. My girlfriends are all jealous of the incredible photos I have of my girls as a result of the modeling shoots Meera has done with them. Modeling shoots with Meera have greatly increased my daughters' self confidence and sense of personal power. Meera is also a great role model for young women and she takes her work very seriously. I have hired Meera to cover special event parties and have had her shoot interiors of our home. This year she is going to shoot our family portrait for our holiday card. Meera Fox Photography never disappoints and Meera always goes above and beyond my greatest expectations.

Unlike some photographers, she never barks orders - she is very encouraging and helpful in making formal portraits look more natural, and when people were uptight she would make them laugh. She was very professional in the lead-up, making sure to get a list of any must-have photos and asking all the right questions to get the feel of the event. Having seen her style on the Dreambox website, I was pretty lenient in my requests. We had the standard family and bridal party shots and other than that, I told her that I trusted her completely to just go with it and capture our day in a photojournalistic style. Not once at the wedding did anyone feel uncomfortable being photographed because Tea was so unobtrusive. As for the quality of the photos you will receive, trust me when I say that you will not be left wanting. She first provided us with a slideshow set to music that made us cry all over again, and then when we looked at every photo it was like re-living the day. Tea captured every emotion perfectly - real smiles, real laughter, real tears, real joy, real love. Every single person who has seen the photos has said that she did such an amazing job capturing our day and that looking at the photos makes them feel like they are there, and every last one of my family members and bridal party has asked for at least one of their favorites as a print to hang in their home. When a coworker of mine saw a photo I have on my desk at work, he asked if it was out of a magazine - I don't know a higher compliment than that. I promise you will not regret working with Tea Ho of Dreambox Photography - it is truly an investment that will last forever.

Then for the engagement shoot, she accommodated us at 3 locations and with 3 outfit changes, in addition to stopping home and grabbing our puppy so that she could be in the shots at the last location. Everything turned out beautifully, and we got far more pictures than we thought we would. I love that her style doesn't involve a lot of poses or cheesiness. Everyone who's seen our pictures has commented on how genuinely happy we look, and how beautifully she captured our relationship. I can't wait to see what she does with the wedding!

As a professional, I believe it's important to have a current head shot. I've invested plenty on all kinds of courses, consultants and other business expenses. What Nan produces is a world away from the quick-picts we can all get with our phones, etc. I've finally scheduled a family shoot with Nan. My husband and I were very lucky to have Stephen photograph our wedding at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden. We interviewed several photographers and decided to hire Stephen because we felt most at ease talking to him. Some of the best advice we received while planning our wedding was "hire vendors you genuinely like." We genuinely liked having Stephen present on our special day; he was attentive, friendly, and somehow relaxed and present while capturing the seemingly endless flow of beautiful moments. We LOVE Stephen's emphasis on candid shots; he caught countless incredible moments on film where you can easily see the immensity, joy, and love of the day. Our posed photos also turned out really well, which I attribute to Stephen's efficiency (posing for too long = stiff photos!) and excitement for catching shots throughout the gardens (movement and new locations make for more fresh expressions!). Stephen's prices were very reasonable and he was always quick to respond to our emails and calls. He sent us a preview of our photos shortly after the wedding and we received the full set within a month of the wedding. Several loved ones have commented on how great the photos turned out and how impressed they were at how Stephen got seemingly everywhere yet didn't distract from the festivities in any way.
