Note you have to call the AAA membership provider you originally were with to get this refund. So Cal did not offer this to me when I signed up. Went through the hassle of going to the DMV last week to register my car in CA and also get a Real ID. The experience at the DMV last week was so frustrating that I'm glad I was able to complete my car reg at AAA. They took care of my vin verification and validating my smog check, which were both things I didn't know you had to do to register an out of state vehicle. Then the lady at AAA handed me my new license plates/stickers, and registration and I was on my merry way! Phew. Thanks AAA for saving me from another DMV visit.

He took his time explaining what coverage I should be looking for and was transparent about the prices. I never felt like I was being upsold on anything. I also had a lot of questions since insurance documents can be a pain to decipher on your own and he was nothing but patient and happy to answer all of my questions. Additionally, both Ryan and Lawrence went out of their way to learn about my background to qualify me for as many discounts as possible. I really felt like they were looking out for me which only made me trust them even more. I could not be more satisfied with my experience and am confident I will be sticking with them for a very long time.     If I could give zero stars, I would. The only thing Breath Easy Insurance is giving me right now is…read moreproof that I technically "have" insurance, not actual support. I am extremely frustrated with the way my claim has been handled. On November 14, 2025, someone hit my truck on the right passenger side near the back tire at a fast station. I filed a claim the very next day (November 15, 2025). It took about a week just to receive an initial call back. I explained everything and was told they would contact the other driver's insurance and follow up with me. Then... nothing. After a full month of no communication, I called and left a voicemail. No response. Another month passed with complete silence until I was contacted by the other person's insurance company informing me that the driver is now claiming I hit him, which is not possible. Even the representative initially assigned to my claim agreed that the facts didn't support that version of events. I again tried contacting Breath Easy. Left another voicemail. No response. After another week, I sent a detailed email. Only then did I receive a reply stating they would contact the other person's insurance. It is now March 1, 2026, and there is still no resolution. The most frustrating part of this entire situation is not just the dispute, it's the complete lack of communication and follow-through. I have had to chase my own insurance company for updates while paying premiums every month. This has been months of unnecessary stress, wasted time, and zero proactive support. When you pay for insurance, you expect representation and advocacy, not silence. At this point, I expect consistent communication and a clear plan of action to resolve this claim.
